So both species have hated each other for a long time it got very strained when the wookies became the representatives for there star system among the republic senate. But the trandoshans traded positions when the empire took over. There peoples hate each other like Jews and Muslims to us. Most hate each other and very few get along.

What Boba said about being tired of working for people that get people like him killed, that makes sense considering legends. I remember reading that Boba had tried to convince Jabba to sell Luke to the Empire. Vader wanted him alive, Sidious wanted him dead. Jabba would not listen; all he wanted was revenge. Given what happened in the Sarlacc pit, I can understand why he would want to rule on his own.
I think the main point of the length of the flashback was also so that we established Boba's motivation to remove Bib Fortuna and becoming a crime lord. Besides it wrapped up basically all the remaining past story lines 😉
We've still to see how he figures out that Cobb Vanth has his armour. That should be the final flashback of the season: Boba and Fennec observing Din Djarin, Cobb Vanth, the townspeople and the Tuskens take on the Krayt dragon.
What did Bib Fortuna to do Boba? When did he betray him? I get that Boba doesnt want to work for other people anymore (I guess he blames Jabba instead of blaming Han and Luke?) but why would he want to be a crime lord since he doesnt commit crimes anymore?

The "best bounty hunter" was Jango Fett. Bane isn't even close to Jango back in his prime. Sure he got punked by Mace, but the man took down rogue sith, jedi (knight and masters), executed hutts, destroyed an entire prison asteroid, and sooooo much more. There's a reason Jango was chosen to be the base for the clone army. He tracked the toughest bounty in the galaxy and succeeded.
Krrsantan attacking the Trandoshans was no random act of savagery. Wookies and Trandoshans hate each other. Trandoshans kidnap and hunt Wookies for sport. Remember, that one Trandoshan in episode 1 had a Wookie pelt.

He was probably a slave once so he has an extra hate for them. Edit: What many times stopped them from going to war against eachother was Yoda. They both respected him because he was always fair to them, thats why Yoda went to help the Wookies in Revenge of the Sith because he had the best relationship with them.
The reason why Krssantan hates Trandoshians is because they hunt Wookies for fun and enslave them... He has a history with them in one of the comics where they come to his planet to capture and kill others of his kind.
Finally some ruthless boba 🙏🏻 show was starting to scare me a little. Hopefully we get an Avengers Endgame style battle with bounty hunters coming in 😂

I'm nearly 100% sure that the sous-chef droid is EV-9D9 who was the one who ordered other droids tortured in Return of the Jedi. It has the same voice.
I liked that the bunny drone is now working for Boba, that they put him in for just a second or so in the mob dinner scene. The Mando music at the end give me awesome feels and hit me hard, shows how ingrained that show is to me, even though I haven't watched an episode in a while.
If you guys go back and watch the first episode again there's something you should check out. After he gets out of the pit he passes out, right? Well, he doesn't wake up until the jawas come, and only after they had already taken off his helmet and wrist rocket. He used the hand they had taken the rockets off of to grab that jawa before KAPOW! He was only awake for a few seconds; barely long enough to realize his armor was gone, much less where/how he lost it. This is all assuming he does remember those brief few seconds with the jawas, of course, but if he does, I think it makes perfect sense he'd think he lost his armor in the pit. That or he just wants an excuse to ice the sarlaac once and for all. Part of me also thinks that having that scene thrown in there was intended to bring some closure to the age-old debate over the original sarlaac and Lucas' changes to it in the remasters. Now, BOTH versions work and we can all be happy, kinda.
You're least favorite episode? REALLY? Legit one of their best episodes so far. Episode 3 is far worse. But I guess each is entitled to their own opinion.
Oh yes they needed that much time to flesh out his relationship with Fennec. Fennec is also the lead in TBoBF. Their dynamic is key to this show. It would not make sense to skip on this part at all. In fact, this was one of the best moments in the show -- to understand why these two ex-bounty hunters decided to work and trust each other and how deep that trust is. So important to the plot for me. It solds the whole scheme of them running Mos Espa together.
Over all I liked this episode. It does seem to be the end of the flash backs, since it reached the gaps in The Mandalorian. I do wondering how he found out Din had his armor. He certainly never used it after collecting it. I was a little surprised he thought sarlacc had it. Even if he was too out of it to remember being robbed by jawas he should still question how he got out of it.
Probably the best episode of the season so far. Episode 2 was great but this one was a little better. Great scenes with Krrasantan and taking out the biker gang, and Sarlac pit. Great episode.

Based on the iconic theme song playing towards the end of this episode:- I’m predicting Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian to cameo from the 5th Episode onwards as they both parted amicably by the end of “The Mandalorian; Season 2”. Also forecasting that Mando shall wield his Darksaber as he helps Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Black Krrsantan and The Scooter Gang bring order to Tatooine. The tragic end of his Tusken tribe is synonymous to the slaughter of historic Japanese warriors from Tom Cruise’s “The Last Samurai” {2003}. I loved it that this limited serial is showing a more benevolent side of certain species such as the Tusken Raiders @ Sandpeople as well as Rancors. In “A New Hope”, a Tusken Raider attacked a youthful Luke Skywalker. In “Attack Of The Clones”, a defenseless Shmi Skywalker was inexplicably abducted and tortured by a tribe of Sandpeople. In “Return Of The Jedi”, a fully-grown male Rancor by the name of Pateesa was being used by Jabba The Hutt to mindlessly kill and consume those that oppose him. Now we learned from the Rancor Keeper played by Danny Trejo that Rancors are emotionally complex creatures and imprints itself on the first lifeform it sets its eyes on. Yeah, conjecturing that Boba Fett will name his pet cub Rancor and even ride it into war against those who defy him ... ;)
Also Kacee I wouldn't say the Sarlacc Pit scene was fan service. It was necessary, Boba was still looking for his Armor in that flashback. That was before he found out Mando got it from Timothy Olephant.

We see why Fennec is so loyal to mobile he saved her from the brink of death this ties in nicely to the Mandalorian before he gets his armor back which is the benefit of having nonlinear in a duel story telling a Pastore in the current story at the same time because we seen a Mandalorian we know what happens and we can fill in the gaps with our memory and mentally fennec also shows off how will a hunter and fighter she is as well as how streetsmart she is by blowing up the sarlacc pit. Mobile step into his godfather mow talking to all the heads of the families but he’s no fool he knows that these guys are only looking out for self interest in their own benefit
Just want to point out that, though we haven't seen the body of the female tusken, I'm pretty sure that the gaffe stick Boba threw on the fire before he tossed the chieftain's stick was the female tusken's. As personal as these weapons are to the tuskens - if she was alive, she would have had her gaffe stick with her.
Wookiee and Trandoshans are blood enemies. You realize out was a Wookiee pelt the Trandoshan head gave Fett as tribute. In The Clone Wars Trandoshans kidnap Wookiee and Jedi to be hunted for sport. Check out the comics BK has a lot of reasons to kill Trandoshans. Fett did wear Wookiee braids on his armor for a time.
Interestingly enough, aside from Trandoshans being known for slave trading in Wookiees to the Empire, part of the reason for that is that Trandosha neighbors Kashyyk in the same solar system.
I didn't really understand why he went back to the pit tbh... Was he just completely disoriented when he escaped? Did he not realize at all he still had the armor on when he passed out in the desert?

The House of Fett grows and now consists of Lord Fett Master Assassin Shand Legendary Gladiator Krrsantan 2 Gammoran Guards Mod Street Gang Calf Rancor. These house is growing and looks impressive. But he will still need more in order to take on the Pykes. Also I’m just going to put this out there and that is either the Pykes or one of the other houses will hire Bossk to aid them and we will see a Black Krrsantan vs Bossk fight(my money is on BK).
I think this episode was necessary. It set up the gathering on two fronts plus explained some minor details. Now we are in unknown lineage… We don’t know where this story is going to go because the flashbacks are all covered.. Can’t wait to see
I hate to break this to you guys, but ALL the Tuskens were killed in the raid. If you watch the funeral scene, Boba throws three sticks onto the fire. One is the leader, the second is the "female" tusken's, and the final one is the younglings staff. You may not see the bodies, but Tuskens wouldn't abandon their gaffi sticks.
I’m still not let down or disappointed I think They’re doing a great job with all these Star Wars side story mini series infact I hope they do Darth Vader while he was establishing the empire with cruelty like in the comics & the weapons that the empire used while conquering all the planets & switched them to credits.
I think in these last two episodes when they looking for muscle , mando will show up he owes them for helping him save grogu, Mando has been rumored to cameo along with others big characters.
I like this episode, it clerified how the two so intertwined. However agreed with Anthony, I also more interested upon the turf war plotline. Really like Madam Garsa's monologue, which also applied to Fett as well: the Galaxy changed. The Empire is gone(at least for a hiatus) and the Outer Rim is under New Republic administraion. In the Mandalorian Season 1 we know that bounty hunting is no longer a lucrative industry, and just like how Din Djarin changed his ways, Boba and the others has to find they place in the new era.
After seeing this I think it was the pykes who killed the tuskans and planted a symbol to make it seem like the others. Tuskans are not weak and would have been seen the riders from miles away. It only makes sense it was actually the pykes.
If ya want a quick idea of what wookies think of trandoshans- The trandoshan tribute was a wookie pelt in the earlier episode (they hunt wookies for sport and enslaved them)
Bad burrito? Rotten sleep the night before? Anthony looked miserable throughout this and when he says the BEST episode so far is the worst. . .well. . .I guess the burrito made things unpleasant. GREAT episode that set up the coming episodes (Mando theme!), did SO much in answering questions from the past that, ironically, brought the flashbacks into the present day. Again -- GREAT episode!
It is strange how different people perceive these episodes differently. To me, this was by far the best episode so far, with a firm grip on the characters and the series and just the right amount of fun (the rat catcher), especially compared to episode 1 and 3, where ep. 1 feels incomplete and ep. 3 is just a confused mishmash of too many things. But this episode is directed by a director who obviously seems to care about details, something which the director of ep 1 and 3 seems to be not very interested in.

Yeah I know, he has many fans out there but bringing in directors who consider it a privilege to direct a Star Wars episode means that they will do anything to do a good job.

Even before the Empire, the Trandoshans have taken Wookies as hunting game and slaves. We see it in the Clone Wars as well.

Just want to point out that, though we haven't seen the body of the female tusken, I'm pretty sure that the gaffe stick Boba threw on the fire before he tossed the chieftain's stick was the female tusken's. As personal as these weapons are to the tuskens - if she was alive, she would have had her gaffe stick with her.
Wookiee and Trandoshans are blood enemies. You realize out was a Wookiee pelt the Trandoshan head gave Fett as tribute. In The Clone Wars Trandoshans kidnap Wookiee and Jedi to be hunted for sport. Check out the comics BK has a lot of reasons to kill Trandoshans. Fett did wear Wookiee braids on his armor for a time.
Interestingly enough, aside from Trandoshans being known for slave trading in Wookiees to the Empire, part of the reason for that is that Trandosha neighbors Kashyyk in the same solar system.
I really loved this episode and I can't wait for more!
I still think a grown up Omega is going to show up wearing Bad Batch armour. She might come to save her brother.

I didn't really understand why he went back to the pit tbh... Was he just completely disoriented when he escaped? Did he not realize at all he still had the armor on when he passed out in the desert?

The scene that showed us a bit of the Boba Fett of Old was the when he took out that speeder gang with the Slave 1(cold, ruthless and absolutely merciless).

These house is growing and looks impressive. But he will still need more in order to take on the Pykes. Also I’m just going to put this out there and that is either the Pykes or one of the other houses will hire Bossk to aid them and we will see a Black Krrsantan vs Bossk fight(my money is on BK).
I think this episode was necessary. It set up the gathering on two fronts plus explained some minor details. Now we are in unknown lineage… We don’t know where this story is going to go because the flashbacks are all covered.. Can’t wait to see

I hate to break this to you guys, but ALL the Tuskens were killed in the raid. If you watch the funeral scene, Boba throws three sticks onto the fire. One is the leader, the second is the "female" tusken's, and the final one is the younglings staff. You may not see the bodies, but Tuskens wouldn't abandon their gaffi sticks.

I’m still not let down or disappointed I think They’re doing a great job with all these Star Wars side story mini series infact I hope they do Darth Vader while he was establishing the empire with cruelty like in the comics & the weapons that the empire used while conquering all the planets & switched them to credits.
I think in these last two episodes when they looking for muscle , mando will show up he owes them for helping him save grogu, Mando has been rumored to cameo along with others big characters.
I like this episode, it clerified how the two so intertwined. However agreed with Anthony, I also more interested upon the turf war plotline. Really like Madam Garsa's monologue, which also applied to Fett as well: the Galaxy changed. The Empire is gone(at least for a hiatus) and the Outer Rim is under New Republic administraion. In the Mandalorian Season 1 we know that bounty hunting is no longer a lucrative industry, and just like how Din Djarin changed his ways, Boba and the others has to find they place in the new era.

After seeing this I think it was the pykes who killed the tuskans and planted a symbol to make it seem like the others. Tuskans are not weak and would have been seen the riders from miles away. It only makes sense it was actually the pykes.

If ya want a quick idea of what wookies think of trandoshans- The trandoshan tribute was a wookie pelt in the earlier episode (they hunt wookies for sport and enslaved them)

Bad burrito? Rotten sleep the night before? Anthony looked miserable throughout this and when he says the BEST episode so far is the worst. . .well. . .I guess the burrito made things unpleasant. GREAT episode that set up the coming episodes (Mando theme!), did SO much in answering questions from the past that, ironically, brought the flashbacks into the present day. Again -- GREAT episode!

It is strange how different people perceive these episodes differently. To me, this was by far the best episode so far, with a firm grip on the characters and the series and just the right amount of fun (the rat catcher), especially compared to episode 1 and 3, where ep. 1 feels incomplete and ep. 3 is just a confused mishmash of too many things. But this episode is directed by a director who obviously seems to care about details, something which the director of ep 1 and 3 seems to be not very interested in.
Episode 2 was great, but I think this one was a little better.
@@jonathanblaze1648 yes I agree, ep 2 was also o good episode. My personal opinion is that they should ditch Rodriguez, the director of ep 1 and 3. Yeah I know, he has many fans out there but bringing in directors who consider it a privilege to direct a Star Wars episode means that they will do anything to do a good job.

I think that duel took place but Bane survived. Check out Bad Batch and you'll get why I think so :)
