How To Use Mussels as Bait

One of my targets for this year is to catch a gilthead Bream .
As a result of this I've been doing some research into how to use mussels as a bait.

well cool is something we used to say in my hometown lol where are you from ?
and I cant take credit mate I'm just showing what I've watched on on some guys from the continents videos they are big on fishing for the gilts

Have you tried soaking them in boiling water for 5 mins as it firms them up 👍👍

I haven't mate I worried it would make them less attractive to the fish? Have you tried this?

@@CornishFishingTales-dc4rw yes it works fine also clamp your hook in the shell so it's exposed and bait elastic it with a mussel on the outside..give it a go 👍
