I just purchased the 65 U7K and after a few adjustments (filmmaker mode, no auto brightness, etc.) the picture on this TV is amazing. I would definitely suggest this as a high-end mid-level TV. Great comparison and review, keep up the good work.
Well best buy gave me the wrong tv and im glad they did. My receipt and my email receipt says i purchased the Hisense u7h tv but they gave me the Hisense u7k tv. How i figured that out is by this video. Thanks best buy for the hook up 😊😊😊😊
I recently purchased the Hisense 75 u7k. Out of the box, tv didn’t look too hot. You have to adjust settings in order to get the Tv to look good. Super happy with the purchase now after settings adjustment.
How much better in percentages is the K model than the H model? I found both, the price difference is 115 euros, but honestly, H is quite expensive for me in my country, 720e :(
I just got the Hisense U7N and I was wondering if you can review the u7n Hisense tv and I have a RTX 4070 laptop will this gpu run the u7n well (GTX 3090 💀)
I purchased the 85U7K almost 7 weeks ago and I find it to very good overall however it operates on hisense vidaa in Australia. Some issues with the audio output, mainly when I run my additional stereo head unit via the digital output I have to manually switch over the audio output option in the TV menu however it only uses one source. My previous Samsung would output both tv and stereo sound together. Im not familiar with eArc so mot sure if i can run both audio sources if I was to update my stereo head unit.. Also when I was using prime video the screen would change its view randomly to a slim letterbox (Has only done this while watching The Continental...)
I wanna know what's the gig speed on the ethernet port on the tv..its usually the TV that's closest to my router I tap into..one less device on your wifi is always good
Good stuff Steve. I'm good with by Hisense for the most part. Only thing I'm not liking is I'm using a Roku stick on it and the TV is limited on picture settings.
@@TechSteve I have the 4k streaming stick. Every option for picture is a Dolby vision option. There's no theater day or anything. I just want a bright vibrant picture is all. On TH-cam the picture doesn't look as good. I suck as this TV stuff lol.
@rythehorrorguy2851 you have to go into the stick and turn off Dolby vision. Because the stick is external you have to manually switch unlike the built in tv apps

Hisense usually features VA (Vertical Alignment) panels, not IPS (In-Plane Switching). VA panels generally provide deeper blacks and better contrast but may have slightly narrower viewing angles compared to IPS panels.
Steve what size is the k? I just ordered the Costco 75in u75k and want to know if it is ips, va, or ads-pro panel. Getting mixed answers. If ips, will it look worse then the 65? Thanks in advance
the u7k wins this. but im kinda disappointed in the u8k vs qm8 video because that video was more about features than picture quality. i really wanted to see the difference between the qm8 and the u8k in colors and contrast
I’m slowly getting away from that format of filming and making videos for the average consumers, there’s only a small group of people who watch all the technical videos and more people looking for direct answers to their buying decisions. I hope you still enjoy my content but there’s too much retention drop off over the last 13 months of testing those videos
@@TechSteve like u see in this video u made now is good, u have the details of the u7h and the u7k. But the video u made months ago wasn’t like this. U didn’t show enough footage comparing the QM8 and the U8K, u mostly talked about the features
Why Hisense insists on putting that panel with the four yellow lights on the front of the TV confuses me. They come on anytime you turn the google voice off so that the TV isn't always listening to you. I wonder if the annoying yellow lights was designed to purposely annoy people enough that they say 'screw it' and turn the google voice back on so that the lights go off and now the microphone is always listening. This is the only reason I can think of for putting those stupid yellow lights there in the first place. A bad design and a complete annoyance, whoever is responsible for this at Hisense should be fired!
@@TechSteve That certainly works but you shouldn't have to cover up lights with tape, it's clear the four light design serves no purpose other than to be an extreme annoyance! I would love to know how many customers buying these TV's are taping over the lights to hide them though, I bet it's a high number! I like your videos Steve, you do good work. Must be fun getting to play around with all these fancy TV's and reviewing them for all of us! It certainly helps people like me decide which TV is right for them before making a purchase, so thanks Steve.

I use to work in a company with iso standards maybe their hands were tied and had no choice. At bb the 75U7H is $989.99. The 75U7K is $999.99. For $10 more it's a no brainer I would get the U7K.

I am curious to see the difference between the Hisense U6k and Hisense U7k.
One of the differences is that U6K supports 60 hz and U7K 120 hz which makes it better for gaming
