i have a few of the cable with different connectors - 2pin / QDC (C-pin) / TFZ.
All with mic - all the mics works fine.
Worth the 'investment' to keep safe better cables from 'harmful' environment.
They tangled very easily.
i would recommend to stay away from QDC connector since i found that it does not properly connect to some other IEMs that comes with similar connector.
Alternatively, choose (the universally fit) TFZ connector, it works with all IEMs (in my collection) with QDC port and even with most non recessed 2pin IEMs.
KBear 2pin connector also works with somewhat angled 2pin port found in Moondrop Chu 2 (snugged perfectly but not perfectly fit).
