I've had the BMW M340i for a bit of time now and I thought it was time to do a bit of an update.
Enjoy,
Sam

I'm waiting to have my M340i Touring delivered and enjoying myself watching all TH-cam clips I can find while waiting 😂
Loved what you pointed out how the button you use to open the boot can also be used to shut it 👍 Didn't see anyone else mentioning it and I'm sure I wouldn't have thought of it myself ☺️
Awesome, enjoy your new car! That button thing is a funny one, it took me a while to realise.
Great review, Sam! Thanks
Regarding the pano roof situation, I always get them tinted with limo tint. I can leave the car with the sunroof blind/cover/protector thing fully open even when the sun's directly above and I don't feel the need to close the blind.
That is a brilliant idea!
Great video, and a very cool car if you need to transport Labradors and Push Chairs and can only run one car.
Great car - I would also not go black. I’d have tan or brown leather and definitely tints - looks classier without tints, but I love the fact it stops prying eyes … you definitely need the upgraded stereos in BM - stock ones are rubbish.
does this car has “unlock by approaching / lock by leaving” option?
I'll be picking up the new LCI M340i sometime next year... I'm still undecided on the touring or sedan, I really don't need the touring at all (no kids or pets), but it may come in handy every now and again!
For me it’s the ability to chuck luggage in without having to squeeze it through a gap. And also odd sized stuff occasionally
The key fob issue has to do with their design. On most, the bottom button is curved and without a frame around it. I have set off the panic button more than once with both Toyotas and Kias due to this issue I now remove them from my pocket when working in the yard or shop.
It’s such a silly issue, needs a change for sure
I often see someone who looks very much like you in West London rolling around in an E63 estate - any upcoming vids on that?
Soon-ish, that replaced the bimmer
got a G31 (5 series Touring), same problem with the key... opened the boot twice without intent
There’s a setting in the menu that can disable the boot opening on the key unless the car is unlocked, very useful
Seemed like a good fit, but lacking excitement. Hopefully you’ve still got a few other cars that fulfil that role anyhow.
100% altho this has moved on and very happy with the replacement. Heavier but more drama and space.
Are you going to order the M3 Touring, Sam?
Nope
What’s going to replace it. Maybe E63s wagon?
Maybe maybe maybe 🤔
This comment aged well
@@natbarron haha
So this as a daily and your GTC 4 Lusso as a grand tourer?
Almost, Lusso has now gone as didn't get much use now that there are 3 of us and another year would have nuked the value in terms of mileage (what i would have put on it).
@@sammooresphoto Oh, well as a viewer that quite sad to hear but at least you haven’t lost many thousands on the back of it!
@@abu-saeedamin4609 indeed, I got a good private offer and i couldn't turn down the profit with all things considered.
