    This is really useful information! It's great to know that even after turning 30, if you start a job in Germany, you might still be able to switch to public insurance. Appreciate you sharing this insight! It's a valuable tip for anyone planning their health coverage options!

    I heard that Mawista,Dr Walter,Feather Expat are more like glorified travel insurances, and they wont be of much help when its really needed. Is it possible to take real private insurances like Hansmerkur, Signa Iduna, Ottonava etc?

    • @bongingermany
      @bongingermany  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For people above 30, unfortunately the first option is the only option. It is also true that coverage is not so good, but in terms of employment or visa renewal, you won’t face any issues. The other options that you mentioned, honestly I haven’t heard of them. You can ask them directly.

    Hi Kaustav, Thanks for uploading the video. I had just one doubt, it's been a month for me in Germany and I have already been enrolled with my university. I received my dr Walter health Insurance but its says its an "incoming health insurance" and would cost me 59 euros per month for a year. So it's basically a travel insurance, my question is can I go ahead with it or do I need to get another provisit package which cost around 129-154 euros. If you could answer this it would be of great help. Thanks

      Send them all your details of university and Dr walter insurance and in 10 days they will send the notification directly.
      Remember TK do not believe in reverting to emails. But, they will do this work seamlessly.

    Hello Kaustuv, thank you so much for creating this video. I'm over 30 and have been trying to find a job in sustainability without success. I'm considering pursuing a master's in data science to broaden my career options beyond the development sector. However, I'm apprehensive about venturing into something new and uncertain, fearing it might not yield financial gains and could potentially waste two years of my life at this stage. How did you decide to start afresh in Germany ? What is the job scenario there for data science ? Is it worth it ?

      Hi, it’s Kaustav by the way. 🙂 If you really want to pursue a masters then Data Science is a really good field and has good potential. However, data science or any technical masters in Germany is quite difficult. So be prepared to put in a lot of effort. I had a very difficult time when I went back to student life after 7-8 years of work.

    As a 30+ student, I have chosen Coracle for the block account, but for my health insurance, I want to choose Dr. Walter (provisit student). Now my question is: when I spoke to Dr. Walter, they assured me that their student package also includes travel insurance. But, they won't give me any additional documents except health insurance. In such a situation, can I give the German embassy a visa interview with this health insurance document (as it says international health insurance) or is it enough for the visa interview. Please let me know. Thank you very much.
