    Hello bro, first of all thanks a lot for your video. I have myself researched endlessly and found the same info but your video solidified it for me, so great job. Just one question from my end: When we have a private health insurance (MAWISTA for me), is there something like in future if we want to switch insurance companies, they wont insure us because we are on a travel insurance. Would appreciate if you can clarify this. Thanks in advance!

    I am above 30, lots of question but no one answered. this video really helped me. Questions, is there any issue getting part time job with private insurance? Can I get only the health insurance for university enrolment purpose with Dr Walt? or do I have to take them with the package includes blocked account service?

    • @bongjournals
      @bongjournals  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello and thanks for your comment. If you get a part time job, there is a chance that your employer might ask for a statutory insurance number, because that is required for the employer to file tax documents (if applicable) . However, usually student jobs are not in the taxable range, so your tax number would still be generated while having a private insurance. I had the same situation as mentioned in the video. My employer asked for public insurance documents. In that case, get a formal written document from the respective public insurance company (TK or AOK, etc.) that public insurance is not possible for you. Since you are above 30. The companies will happily provide you with the document. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUE WITH PRIVATE INSURANCE AND PART TIME JOBS, I did it myself for about 1 year. Second - Your university accepts any insurance document that you supply, provided the insurance covers you during your period of study. So public private anything. Yes, DRWalter also works. I am still using the same. Third - you can take the insurance separately or as a package. Doesn’t matter. But I recommend doing as a package

    • @bongjournals
      @bongjournals  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you are less than 30, you cannot have Mawista, you HAVE to get public insurance. When you turn 30, you can then switch to private. With private insurance, some employers may cause problems. Speak to them and explain the situation. Also take a written confirmation from any public insurance provider which confirms that you cannot get public insurance after 30 if you are a student

      This happens when you do not convert your public to private as soon as you turn 30. The insurance companies exploit this, and charge huge premiums. The first thing is immediately switch to private like Dr. Walter or similar. Secondly, go to tk office and speak to them. If they consider and do a refund you should be lucky.

      With a small premium amount, honestly very less medical procedure are covered under insurance . You don’t need to take another insurance, since this is a private insurance, you can increase the premium amount to extend the coverage. But it can only be extended upto a certain limit. I turned 30 during my studies and now my contribution to tk is 230 euros. I have done quite a bit of research on this topic. • @bongjournals
      @bongjournals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually after studies, it's better to change the contribution to public. So I guess you already did the correct thing. Your contribution of 230 euros will be shared by your employer as well right? For working individuals, the insurance amount is obviously higher than students. So, considering students pay around 120 euros (approx.) for public insurance. 230 euros for working individuals seem at par. Continuing private won't help. You can get private even while working, but the amount is huge compared to public.

Till then I am thinking to switch to private insurance. The problem being the period when my masters will be over and I get a full time job. Private student insurance won’t cover me and I cannot switch to tk before a full time job. Then I have to take a full private insurance that’s somewhere around 400 monthly. Do you have a suggestion in this situation?

    • @bongjournals
      @bongjournals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shubhamgupta7345 okay. Now I got a good idea about your scenario. I think you should immediately switch to private and keep that until you get a job. Because paying 230 by yourself is a lot. The private insurance you get as a student above 30 are actually travel insurances. So right now if you switch to private, that will be a travel insurance. But it still is valid.
