Can I ask you something? I have a German helmet at home and I would like to make it more shiny, but at the same time I plan to put a decal on it. Do you think that the decal on the helmet would hold even if there was a clear coat on it?

Ahh...the debate continues...to refurbish or not. Personally, if a relic has nothing left in terms of original paint or decals, then why not refurbish? I like to use the classic car comparison...nobody wants to see a rusty piece of crap that can't be driven, and everybody appreciates a good classic car restoration. Yes cars or helmets are pieces of history...but there is nothing wrong with living history...seeing artifacts as they would have looked when being used by the original owners, so many years ago...how the original owners would have felt being issued with it and trying it on for the first time, or living with it throughout the conflict...
FanTASTIC JOB!
Класс, хороший подбор краски, мне понравилось!!!
Love it. 💪👍
Пескоструй тебе в помощь! Лайк !
The best way to remove rust is to Youse Oxcalic acid. Well done 👌
Что сказать?работа великолепна!!!👍
Хороший исходник!
Where did you get the sticker from?
Work of art mate but it would be nice if you talked us through the stages with subtitles etc, what you are using, what you are doing etc
Thanks, I'll try to fix it in the next video
I would love to have that
Look great! Well done :) What material are you using for the metal cleaning at 2:06?
Thank you. It is a rust remover.
Looks great. Is there some reason why you wear gloves when applying the decal? Is it done with a solvent rather than water?

Not original when restored looks great but not for me.
was lokking good until you bogged and painted it, just looks like a cheep and nasty reproduction now.
