    Reminder, its MY face. MY face routine... No one is forcing you to use any product or mimic any action you see in this video. It's wild I'm even explaining this... Must you do all 10 steps? As stated multiple times in the video, no... you don't. You don't have to use a rag, you can be as gentle as you'd like... on YOUR face. Lol Hopefully this gets rid of any confusion. ❤️

      Hey girl ! I wanted to know if you do the exfoliating & both masks every night if not how many times a week do you do ? Because I have sensitive skin as well & I don’t wanna be to harsh :)

    Your skin is so beautiful and glowing. However, to be totally honest, I don't have time for all those steps. I am envious of those who commit to this regiment. More power to you! I would be nice if there were a quicker version with less steps.

    As someone that has sensitive dry skin I do not recommend to exfoliate, scrub and then use a mask altogether, since all of those products combined can strip out your natural oils and therefore, they can damage your skin by making it drier and flaky. Over-exfoliating is not a good choice if you have sensitive dry skin, it can cause redness and dehydration. I'm not a doctor nor a specialist, this is just an advice for you to take into consideration. Overall, I can see that you have a very clean and smooth skin, which is amazing.

    • @MissErinYvette
      @MissErinYvette  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video is over three years old… And my skin is definitely not the same as far as being sensitive or dry. As mentioned multiple times, always do what’s best for you and what you’re comfortable with. However, I do have to disagree, when my skin was extremely dry I experienced flakiness and texture, in which exfoliating and thick creamy moisturizers were the only thing that provided a smooth solid base. It’s also important to acknowledge a persons, eating habits, as well as how much water they’re in taking. Skin is not a textbook, it’s about trying routines and figuring out what works for you and what your body reacts to. This routine worked for me at the time. This routine can still be applied today with alternative exfoliators, but if you are not comfortable doing so, don’t. Your skin is not my skin and that’s the best part.

    • @leadarockstar
      @leadarockstar ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MissErinYvette Yes, I acknowledge that each one of us are experiencing different transformations in our bodies, since we do not intake the same amount of supplements each day and we do also differentiate for our daily habits. I just wanted to express how I feel about over-exfoliating based on my own experience. I did not say you were right or wrong, and I do also share the fact that each one of us should do what it is best. My intentions were not to directly criticise your routine.

    I have very oily skin. My skin is like a sponge. So I don't think oil cleansing is for me. Even after oiling my locs, it's as if I put nothing on them. My hair soaks the oil right up 😂 lol although I will say there are a few products you're using I'm interested in so far as exfoliating and hydrating goes. 🙏🏽☺️ Your skin looks absolutely wonderful ❤️ I loved the video‼️

      Oils won't stimulate sebum production when they contain the right, targeted active ingredients. Try searching Cassandra Bankson videos on TH-cam. She will break down everything about understanding oily skin. This glass skin trend is beyond silly to me. I’m guessing b/c I naturally have that type of skin. I tend to shy away from it and use products to matte my face.

    First off, omg! Your skin looks so freaking amazinggg! Had to get that out.
    You're exfoliating a lot though, so I hope this isn't a daily routine. You use the wipes (which I recommend tossing) then two types of scrubs, next the rag and finally witch hazel is considered as chemical exfoliation...ouch.
    The kbeauty routine is about being as gentle to the skin as possible, so try to eliminate lots of tugging and dragging (especially around your eye area!!) 🤩🤩

      This video is to show the products I’ve been using following the routine. I def don’t do all 10 steps, daily. Those were also Kleenex tissues. Lol no makeup remover wipes used in the video. Thank you for the suggestions though ❤️

    Is oil cleansing necessary if I don’t weans makeup? I just don’t want to follow a step that’s not needed, and may break out my face, any tips?

    • @MissErinYvette
      @MissErinYvette  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I oil cleanse once or twice a week even if I don’t wear makeup. It helps pull oil and dirt from under the skin. Where some water based cleansers only get the surface, I find the oil cleansers to be a little more intense. They also don’t dry out your skin. I’d try a sensitive one if you’re worried about your skin breaking out. 💕

    Nope not doing all that sorry😮. I love the video and your skin is beautiful. However, there are things we can do and products out there that can minimize all the steps you just shared. Time consuming is imperative in a lot our lives, I think I can speak for most of us less is better. Daily cleanser, scrub, mask, toner, and moisturize. A scrub should only be once or week some skin care professional recommend once every two weeks with proper daily routines. Thanks for sharing😊

    • @MissErinYvette
      @MissErinYvette  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Don't Quote Me!! But I don't think I've heard of anyone having a terribly negative affect with oil cleansing. Even with acne prone skin...Ideally it helps pull oil and dirt from under the skin. Where some water based cleansers only get the surface, I find the oil does a deep, not stripping cleanse. I’d try a sensitive one if you’re worried about your skin breaking out. I just switched my sister (acne prone) over to oil cleansing, she loves it.

    • @MissErinYvette
      @MissErinYvette  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Perhaps because *my* routine is inspired by the multiple steps and specified techniques used within a Korean Skincare routine. As expressed in the video, I’d advise you use whatever products and omit any steps that work best for *your* particular skin type. 🙂 thanks for watching!
