I loved the original trilogy and I absolutely love Andromeda! It has its faults, but nowhere so severe as some imply.

I love all, but andromeda's gameplay, replayability is unmatched compared to the trilogy.
if i would pick a first to start with i would start with the trilogy though, story is better, i wouldn't recommend andromeda as an entry into the Mass Effect series.

Yes, she is modded. You can do a relatively close copy without mods except hair, no long hair in the vanilla. Other that that her eyelashes are a bit longer and skin a bit clearer than a vanilla.

Why does the animation look so weird? Just finished Mass Effect 1Legendary and the animation was so much better than Andromeda!!

I got used to them after a while, they are not that bad. But then again, graphics is not what bothers me in the games at all, I crave the story mostly, so I am rather undemanding in that regard.)

Andromeda was made on a different engine from the original trilogy, so a lot was done differently. Under the hood, it's closer to Dragon Age Inquisition than any of the original games.
