    My stick had a lot of resistance, I thought it needed replacing. Turns out it was just dirty! Thanks so much for this tutorial.

    Hey there! Thanks for your tutorial. Would you know if the same procedure is applicable to a Seimitsu LS-40-01? It looks similar to the one you used in the video, and I bought one which was supposedly new from an arcade shop but it was dirty.

    @team pandory hey bro, about the grease used, do you prefer tamiya cera-grease or shin etsu? and how long does it take to lubricate again using tamyia cera-grease?

    • @TeamPandory
      @TeamPandory  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really bothered with "Shin Etsu" - the Cera Grease seems to work well enough and that tube is going to last a life-time.

    Any advice for a stick that is now really loose? I've had a look at it (sanwa style) but I'm guessing just buy a new one. Does get played a fair bit. Microswitches seem fine but its so loose compared to the two player side. Any thoughts would be great 🙂

    • @TeamPandory
      @TeamPandory  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sanwa style as in a cheap rip-off? If that's the case, just replace with an authentic one. It's more trouble than it's worth.

    • @TeamPandory
      @TeamPandory  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Another thing you could do ... Is change the sticks over. Swap them out so player one has a tighter stick (grin)

    • @johnboydojo
      @johnboydojo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TeamPandory I ended up just ordering some stronger springs. I've taken the C clips off before to have a look so it shouldn't be too difficult to replace. Only cost me a quid or so...we shall see! I'll keep ya posted! Thanks again!

    Last week I ordered a Sanwa stick for my Neo Geo ASP. It should arrive today or tomorrow, I'm curious if it makes a big difference to the original stick. Maybe I will change the buttons as well, but I have to decide what's better, Sanwa or Seimitsu?

    • @TeamPandory
      @TeamPandory  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There's more of a difference in sanwa Vs semitsu when it comes to the stick. But I'd say go with semitsu buttons.
      Regarding the feel, they're similar, but Ive had wayyy more sanwa buttons break than seimitsu

    • @greensun1334
      @greensun1334 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TeamPandory ok, thanks for answering. Then I choose the Seimitsu buttons, they seem to be more robust. And what's the main difference between the sticks of those brands? Or let's say, who makes the better sticks?

    • @TeamPandory
      @TeamPandory  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@greensun1334 both are great.
      The 80s 90s era was full of seimitsu / sanwa hybrid arcade machines in Japan. Eventually the main machines mostly adopted Sanwa .. if youve played a Tekken game, sanwa sticks.
      Seimitsu have a huge range of different feeling sticks. Shootemup fans prefer these as they're seen as being more precise.
