- 2020 was an amazing season. In this video we found amazing twin and triplet porcini. Also, for the first time ever, we found porcini under oak trees (we usually find them under pine). Having tasted the porcini under pine and oak, we think the oak ones have a nuttier and more flavoursome - quite special.
Hope you enjoy the video.

After a while you kinda develop a sixth sense.
Австралия!сказочная страна!!
Stunning! Where is this?
In the Adelaide Hills.
@@FruitsOfLife001 Amazing - around Mount Crawford? Were they found in public area?
@@breatheez8874 we find all our mushrooms in public areas. Just gotta do some research 😃
@@FruitsOfLife001 ... are those blackberries on forest floor? ... we used to pick them in pine plantation when I was little, but now most of them have been eradicated ... my dad has not seen/tasted boletus or birch bolete since 1964 in Czechoslovakia .. after he saw your videos he wants to move to Adelaide Hills! :) .. here around sydney we only find (in pine plantations) slippery jacks, saffron milk caps & grey knight (tricholoma terreum), there are other (common) edible species elsewhere - shaggy ink cap, shaggy parasol, puffball, fairy ring mushroom, etc..
@@breatheez8874 yes they are blackberries. I've read that you can find porcini in Vic and NSW but they are rare. We also find the other varieties you mentioned here in SA.
