Gotta pair that thing up with a Taiga electric Jetski.
You should do that, thats a video i would watch!
Hi jerry
Yes sir
@@Switchy2010LOL
Hi Mr Zack I love your videos
Nautique GS22e was the first and has been out for a few years now
And is personally my preference. I think it retains the soul of ski boats better than Arc’s more lifeless design. But both are nice boats
The arc boat is significantly more powerful and realistic for a day on the water
@@trevorschultz1230 Ridiculous power doesnt really matter for water sports. You have to limit your speed heavily even on a gas boat for towing to be physically possible.
@@trevorschultz1230 *a couple hours on the water or around 30 minutes at full throttle.
it has only 2 hours run time and 200 hp not worth its also more expensive
It’s Great to see on how far Tech has evolved over the years. i’m sure Dan is very impressed on this electric boat!
The nautique gs22e I believe was the first electric surf boat
Nautique has been selling electric boats for a few years now
Came here to say this!
gs22e
Not even close to the battery size - time on the water. The Arc is superior - not sure about the wave but would love to try one (we have Mastercraft X24). This looks very good.
@@fredjohnston7022 I was just pointing out the claim arc was the first electric wake boat was wrong. I would hope Arc is better since the gs22e came out a number of years ago. Regardless all boats are too expensive nowadays.
@@Wowi366 I gotcha. I agree, if Arc can build this for $250K, all the gas powered Wake boats are overpriced. In fairness, there is a lot of tech in these boats now - which traditional engine companies are not real good at IMO (they charge a lot of this tech because it costs them a lot - under skilled). Either way, this should drive competition in the wake boat category.
20-40 min charge (4:41) will get you 4 hours.... sales people will say anything.
Yeah, that claim is absolutely ridiculous, they should be charged for fraud...
That's for a Level 3 charger. But who has a level 3 charger at the dock.
@@Benhojka but it cant do 4 hours doing tow sports or wake surfing anyway, the battery is way too small for the power you need to get a boat that heavy up to speed for 4 hours...
When is the what’s inside Zack statue video coming?
Would honestly be a nice final video for the main channel
Probably before GTA 6 launch 😂
Amazing boat, great video!
Jeeez! Talk about luxury 😯 I love you videos Dan! Keep it up! I’ve been a fan since day 1! 🫶🏼
Thank you for all your content! 🙏
Sick boat!
Thank you Dan for getting in the water for us ❤️
Best TH-camr in the world love from South Africa ❤
Amazing boat
I need one of these 👀
damn bro! Thats cool!
jumping in the water in long beach was extremely brave of you lmaooo
This is so cool! And really any docks that house houseboats should have 220 outlets. So you can plug in your lv2 charger and charge right up. It’ll be nice to start seeing some lv3 if they can support it and just some slips reserved for charging. Thanks for the vid!
Impressive battery. Lacking the surf wave tech that all the other boats have and it was very easily noted on that wave. Nice boat to go drive around in though and maybe to slalom ski behind.
It's rarely sunny on the CA coast until after 2-3pm (especially in May) and usually only in the dead of summer. Try going to a lake inland and it would have been sunny in May (well maybe, we've had a weird spring, not as warm and sunny as usual).
Those guys were super cool and let me foil behind one of their boats!!!
Awesome boat! Have they thought about integrating solar panels into the roof for charging off-grid?
Yes, you would need a barge about 40 feet long and 20 feet wide. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love the vids
Watching from the 🇵🇭

Welcome to California. One thing we locals are used to is May Gray and June Gloom. It usually burns off by the afternoon, but that is our norm. :)
Woaaaah there hold up. The politicians here said it was chevron and climate change. No way a politician would lie
And don't forget the July Why!
Will it make it to Catalina Island from Long Beach?
That's a rad boat! Competitively priced, heavy batteries set a nice wake, charge during lunch (if that's even necessary) and go back out!
Yeah, getting stuck on the water because you miscalculated range is totally rad! Also waiting for hours to recharge on beautiful day, is also great! Not being able to recharge at a marina is the best part of owning one of these.
I'm a die-hard fan of my Ranger Boat. You can't beat a Ranger inboard/outboard fish & ski boat. They are the best & they are made in the good old USA in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The electric boat is nice but who can afford it @ that price? No, thank you. It wouldn't have enough power for my family's needs.
We go out around 11:30 am, pull the kids in the tube, ski, and other water toys, come in about 5:00 pm, eat & back out to night fish for bass & come in about 5:00 am. It wouldn't have enough time to charge & Missouri Wildlife isn't going to have fast chargers @ceach campsites to charge your $250,000.00 electric boat. Need to research your options on this one Dan. Don't see it taking off in a place like Missouri just yet. I'll stick to me good old girl for right now Dan-o.
Have a wonderful weekend & God bless.
The people that can forward it are the people that went to school and have a decent job. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@boblatkey7160I had a good job with the hospital. I just decided to retire early & enjoy myself before I died. Like I said it's not going to handle my consumption needs as a family of 5.
Happy summer to you.😊
Can’t lie, the features on that boat are crazy
@HeavyD Sparks would love this boat I think
🙋♂️ THANKS DAN ,FOR SHARING THIS 🥶 BOAT 🚤 OF THE FUTURE 🤗💚💚💚
Since batteries weigh so much I wonder if they can use it to their advantage and use it as a gyroscope or whatever they call it to prevent the boat from rocking back and forth
Cool boat. You have more guts than I do, yes there is sharks in there. Big nope lol
natique has more thrusters and can also menuver just as easily or better
can the boat charge electric jet skies?
Adding this to the long list of awesome things I will buy when I win the lottery 😅
Id personally take a Tique Super Air GS22E, but this is by no means a bad electric ski boat
Why?
@@trevorschultz1230 Because it feels more like a ski boat and less like a tesla. Basically just comes down to me liking the design more. Plus it has the established nautique features that the arc doesnt have.
@@orange_turtle3412what established nautique features??
10:16 Yeah I saw those right next to the highway when I visited LA for the first time last summer 😭
Great with pioneering EVs/Tesla and solar energy, but seemingly horrible at the same time :|
That CEO is coolest guy ever.
Is this an Epic Wakeboat hull? Maybe they bought the hull design off of them?
This is the future!!
Why does the wave look like it's from a 1999 tige ? You would think with all that battery wave it would be better. Does it have a surf system?
Kudos on the board getting up 1st try Dan! Or was it edited? LOL Seriously....WOW on this boat!! All I gotta do to get one is sell my house and I got it! Maybe I can live on it? Nah, I'm in Texas.
First try! No joke!
Its cold but not that bad😂😂
Brother, check out my Malibu it has a thruster, power seat, has heaters, seats 16 people, has back up cams, goes faster than 30, 26 ft, huge wave, has ballast, huge front space, surf board racks, has shade roof with more surf racks, with a full gas tank lasts a week or more for a boat day everyday before gas refill, lots of storage, and looks way better.
Does it come with paddles for when the batteries die?😉😉😉🤣😂
No, actually just like a boat with a gas gauge, people that have half a brain understand where their battery is before it dies. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don’t understand all of these reviews, no one asks about the batteries, replace ability when it dies. That would be the most important thing I would ask is how much does the battery cost when it needs to be replaced and how easily is it swapped out when it does need to be replaced. those are the two most important things as it is the most expensive maintenance item on the boat.
cause its a scam
Dan, did you really just hold your nose when jumping into the water?!?! Dude..........
Every time!!
Dan has to be one of the best wakeboarders from a desert state!
Awesome videos sorry I’m soo late
Nautique has been electric surf boats for years. They are more money so people typically opt for gas. Battery density is currently the only hold up for electric boats. soon as we have more power density it’s off to the races for cars trucks planes and boats
Nautique has been selling an electric boat for a few years
10:26 Welcome to SoCal. We have visible and hidden refineries all over here. iykyk
How does it charge for all day in 20-40 min on a level two charger? That doesn’t make sense. Level 2 chargers are in the 8kw per hour range
This company developed 2 products within 2 years? That's pretty incredible! Second, 4-6 hours is actually pretty good. I would be happy with that length of time. The price being competitive with gas equivalents is great as well. This seems like a legitimate option for wakeboarders!
Do they need a mechanical engineer?! :D
How do I become a dealer for them in Utah? I currently sell wake boats in Utah and would love to sell these!
What about electric planes?
❤
NACS please!!
Was that boat the owners ?
Badass . . .
I find it very hard to believe that 20-40 minutes of level 2 charging would get you 4-6 hours of boating time..
Thats how batteries work the first 0-80% of the battery charges super fast. The last 20% takes a long time
@@garrettjohnson1387 I'm an engineer in the EV space, while what you say is true, Level 2 charging is not the same as a Tesla Supercharger. Typical level 2 charger is like 7kw. If you do the math for the siaze of the batter at 226kwh, even if we plugged in for an hour and not 20 minutes, you'd only get about 3% more charge. Even if it was the most powerful Level 2 charger at 18kw (which I doubt it is) you'd get 8% charge in an hour. You aren't boating for 5 hours on 8%
@@turbo2ltr4-6hrs of trolling maybe haha. I'm sure he mis-spoke
Dan is probably just repeating what the boat marketing people told him.
The stats on the site seem more accurate, think he misspoke of 20-40 mins of DCFC, it did appear to have a CCS1 port
dude little 5 mile offshore runs are probably killer with this thing. what was that thing you said about 9K pounds of water tho??
What will the price be to replace the battery..
Throw it away and buy another 400k boat
You should have thrown a Pavati up just for laughs in the cost comparison....
Tesla Boat For Sure!!!!
Nautique’s electric boat actually looks good.
Natique GS22e has been out since 2019
Thare is a company in the Netherlands that has a lot more it’s name is ESF
You be amazed how much oil is in the Los Angeles area. Look it up.
really? you where born in the philippines? where abouts? watching from calgary🇨🇦🇵🇭
I can’t wait till this is fully adopted and there’s no oil in the bays
nautique boats had one
Another plus is no exhaust to breathe in when you surf or wake
Hi
Candella has been making electric boats suitable for skiing and way more efficient with foils, even though electric boats are just a toy at this time
I have the same birthday as Lincoln
Why wouldnt you integrate solar panels into the hard top
Unfortunately you could plaster that entire boat with solar panels and it wouldn't even make up one percent of its charging needs.
it would’ve been nice to have done a comparison between gas cost and cost to charge for about that size
just do the math of the battery capacity with the price for electricity
I wonder what one of those looks like on fire? 🤔
EPIC made Electric wake boats like 15 years ago.
Feel like this surf wave isnt quite as nice as what Natique, Mastercraft, and Malibu produce. Still an impressive boat to say the least
How did I not know you were born in the Philippines 🤔
Normal boats charge when at port
but placing a chagingbox on a windmill makes more sense then placing a oilrig for charging offshore
so that might change
Yooo
I have on old Mastercraft boat while this is cool, I don't say it's cool enough to have a v8 in the back
If you want to promote your brand show the wave adjustability etc.
Why’d you guys abandon the what’s inside channel
😌😌😌
No solar panels?😅 i
1 hour run time lol
Never knew my mans was born in the Philippines
4st!!!!🎉
I have a Mastercraft xt22
They need to put solar panels on the roof
That would be equivalent to two drops of water in a 1 gallon jug! 😂
Imagine if a had a solar panel for a roof
Why doesn't the massive hard top have solar panels
Because it would probably make up no more than one percent of its charging need. 😂
@@boblatkey7160 And your brain operates on 1% according to that comment
@bryanciacco4181 he's right. It would take weeks to charge the boat with solar panels on top. Might get 1 or 2 percent in 4 to 6 hours.
@@leetjohnson You do realize boats sit moored up on docks outside for weeks at a time in-between taking them out. So with solar panels you would always come back next weekend to a fully charged boat. Plus the solar panels could keep the cameras sensors and space heaters powered up so while it's sitting for weeks at a time or months at a time during winter you could always keep and eye and monitor your boat and never have to worry about the batteries getting to low or dying or anything freezing. And after every winter it would always be fully charged. Like wtf are you guys even talking about? Obviously solar panels are a great idea. And some boats even have canopies that fold out with solar panels in them expanding the solar panel surface area by 200%. This boat would be perfect for that and even without the folding canopies it's still a good idea even if it takes weeks to charge as I just proved and explained earlier.
@bryanciacco4181 yeah, for long term it would be a good idea...just not gonna help that day, as most would assume.
I’ll stick to my Centurion
