An idea for the future. To get bags down to the bottom, you can take a pulley and run a rope through it. Then take the pulley down to the thing you are lifting up and connect the pulley to that. Then you can use people or some device to pull the rope on the surface which is a lot easier than pulling things down by the person or persons under the water as they often do not have a good surface to brace against to pull bags down that aren't or can't be fully deflated.
This is 100% how it should be done.
Damn Dave, if you’re not careful you are going to end up being the premier go to Heavy Rescue company in the western United States. You guys will get the most daring, dangerous, and complicated rescues in the game.
Deep water horizon type stuff. Agree
It's very impressive what they do already. But when it comes to urban area truck and car recoveries they could learn a lot from Pepe's in LA.
they go out of their way to make it more dangerous and extreme so they can put 20ads in an hour 30min video
@@DylanLukeLosassothen don’t watch. The stuff they do is expensive. Do you get paid for leaving the house 5 days a week?
@@thomasleonard9685 second that!!!👊
" I can't breathe " diesel dave "breathing is nice" lmao
Being in the towing and recovery business for 20 years and now driving oversized and heavy haul you guys kill it. A inspiration and motivation helping me stay positive. Thank you so much
These guys got recovery vehicles and equipment for land, sea, air practically any scenario
Just don't drink that pond water he endorses 🤮
Great video. Super team effort. How did the boat sink?
@@ashtonbull5758it’s pretty good stuff
I owned a wrecker business and did lots of recoveries. My son owns a boiler company and we are very familiar with this sort of operation . 73 now and retired and miss the “action”. Great job and appreciate your ingenuity. That’s the way you do it. Be cleaver and you can figure out any project. Yes sir !
Great teamwork!! 💚💚💚 Doug Bishop!!
Doug might be the coolest guy ever - and that's really saying something considering the rest of the folks in this crew!
Would love to start something like this in oklahoma !! Yall are so dope ! Thank you for providing the content , support , and love to each and every community you guys touch , from social to physical!!
I like to watch your videos like this, I can just lay back and enjoy what you do, I just been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer this yr in April, I did 4 immunotherapy treatments so far, had a side effect reaction few days ago, and now they found swelling on the right side of my brain, have it scheduled next month to see some more results, but I really enjoy watching the stuff you do to help ppl, keep up the good work, god is good, keep the faith, amen
A lot of divers would have pushed that feeling and had an emergency. He is a smart man to go with what he’s feeling and back out.
So true. We may never know if he cheated death that day but we all know he made a wise choice to not push it. I’m glad he is smart and experienced enough to wait until another day. This could have been a whole different kinda video.
Hard to "push" a feeling of "I can't breathe".
@@purplebooger6410 should not have dived in the fist place under those conditions.
This was a great episode. THe diver has some serious skill and you both work as a great team. Looks like a beautiful area. Be well.
Seeing as they didn't show any damage and towed it back with the pump off tells me it was in fact just the drain plug, despite what the owner said.
Well, that would be embarrassing ... but there appeared to be no particular damage.
I kept waiting for the cause of the sinking it takes a lot of effort or alcohol to get a boat that size to sink
My guess is fresh water line on the engine - they pump water up from below to cool the engine - if the return line from the engine back out the hull popped off or failed it would pump about 30gpm right into the hull, plus water would back feed from the hull fitting, and the more you run the engine trying to get back to shore the faster you sink.
Yep, it is all scripted.
I work part time as a fill in for my friend's boat salvage company. Dave isn't wrong when he says these marine recoveries can be fun. No day is exactly the same and yes, lift bags suck. Cutting up sailboats on the beach is the less glamorous work that we have to do at times. With three people it took us two days to cut a 34 ft off the beach, pack it into the landing craft, and hand load it into dump trailers. It's very favorable when we're just dragging abandoned boats onto trailers and disposing of them at the landfill. Nicely done on this one boys. And seeing Doug is always a pleasure. He's a good dude.
Wow guys what a perfect recovery of such a beautiful boat well done love your channel i was very worried about your diver im glad he only needed a good night sleep
Doug Bishop is a good man
Dougie my dear!! You lost a lot of weight!!! Oh my I hope it is healthy weight loss?? Be careful. Also, so happy to see you knew your limitations Dougie and stopped. We❤ you. Oh and Heavy D too😅.
B is for build designed and is building a very very similar pontoon boat with hot tub, it will be interesting to see how both of these projects come together. Chris is building a yacht style party boat and Dave’s is a utility platform.
First class job well done friend please keep the great videos coming friend. From Scotland 😊
I love watching you guys do this kinda stuff I always watched you guys when you were on TV . Now I watch you guys all the time now that you are on TH-cam which I like even more because I can go back and watch them again and don't have to wait for reruns you guys keep making the video's and I'll keep watching them you guys are awesome
Interesting direction that you guys are heading, but a single diver with no safety diver or dive partner is asking for an accident that can turn fatal in a heartbeat (diving and high altitude lakes). You need to work on the safety, safety, safety.
It’s different In Utah, standard operating procedure is “Git er Done son”
There’s been bigger recoveries underwater and it’s also been one driver so ?
i Would put Money on it that Dave Has another Boat Out of the Camera View with...
1) another couple divers
2) a Paramedic
Getting to where he's got , he's not stupid.
He Could a Loose everything.
He Has to Keep the Risk & Suspense up for views.
the one thing that was real was the " Crush " that the diver felt. i'm a N. a. u. i. diver since 1976. Got a lot of dives under my belt.
the " crush" - i call it. is when u can't breathe at a certain depth because the pressure on your chest is intense & u can't inhale. only had it happen once - was trying to get down to a wreck. it happened at about 80'. happened to both of us. my dive buddy too ( a girl )
had to cancel the dive. something was not right. only time i ever had to cancel a dive.
Imagine getting one of those straps snapping and into your back 😮😮😮
@@JuanCastro-jd4hlthey’re designed not to
That is really one experience! I’m
Glad you guys have the utensils needed to get the job done ! What a good recovery !
Awesome guys. Doug did a great job diving. Did you find out why the boat sank?
I think it sank because it took on too much water
Owner missed a payment on the boats extended warranty.
You guys have an Amazing team doing Amazing work ❤
I was in the military, commercial, and professional diving industry for over 40 years, and that person was in a situation he never should have been in. He was way under qualified in everything and extremely uncomfortable diving. Besides no backup diver or skilled tender, this guy diving was asking for trouble. When he burst back to the surface, someone should have called it off until a professional dive team could be called in. No boat is worth a person's life, and this guy needs far more training and experience before trying something like that again. I hope he reads this and takes this advice.
More Doug with diesel brothers, under water, on land doing recovers , or at Cerro Gordo. !!!!
We were sitting in the cove drinking beer on the boat watching you guys do this.
Where was this at
@@toddrawlings2154 deer creek lake in Utah
Only divers that have gone down at that elevation know. Its dark and your alone down there. You have to bite your pride and choose the safe option. Resurface and live to try another day!
I've missed you guys. Glad to see your actively posting again!
Great job and great equipment
I spent a season deck handing for Towboat U.S. Small outfit in Texas. I get it Dave every time you said you love this part. lol. Really miss doing this stuff. We parbuckled a boat once. Captain Joe is an amazing captain. Was cool to watch him do that in not the smoothest of waters.
Just finished watching it and repost. I guess you forgot the sponser 😅
The whole video is different too. Some boat but didn’t video. They probably posted the wrong one
@@Braap_Squad no it isn't its the same boat the green one this video the green one last video. Think it's the sponsor wasn't there before
Man you guys have done so much and are a true powerhouse on youtube. So impressed, keep it up!
Thx for the Appreciation, thx for sharing.
Deep dive. Love to go on a rescue with you guys many years of work experience on the water.
Heavy D, I love your videos and very importantly, I love that you’re flying the American flag. Thank you.
With all the cool toys and underwater work you do, I am surprised you do not have any underwater drones to work for these types of things. Glad the diver is doing better and hope it all works great.
the " Crush " is what that diver felt. i'm a N. a. u. i. diver since 1976. Got a lot of dives under my belt.

Been Down past 100ft many times. never an issue.
the Body Can be very sensitive sometimes.
it's Amazing , But too much caffeine or eat the wrong thing or drink the wrong thing before diving & you could have a issue.
Don't ever drink Redbull or Energy drinks & Go scuba diving. You could end up un-Alive !
Man that sounds amazing I'll help I'm a hard working dude! 🤘👽
Love watching this type of videos, but then I love watching all your videos.
Why is that guy Bishop not in jail for that scam AWP pulled in the Kiely Rodni case.
What scam?
@@jrm88382 The whole staged and rehearsed interview Bishop and crew did with the so-called roadside assistance guy. That whole thing was suspicious as hell. Not to mention they found her car with only searching for 30 minutes when law enforcement had divers and sonar searching for days. How did Bishop and AWP know just the spot to search. Then the diver that found her said it looked suspicious because she was in the back hatch area of the car. But if you can't get out of the car the front of the car sinks first bc of the weight of the engine so if you are chasing an air pocket guess where that pocket will be, in the back of the vehicle. Why is that so suspicious.
Thank you bro it means a lot that you care about your subscribers ,I've supported you guys for so long now. Keep up the amazing videos ,hello from Toronto, Canada
Joining y’all on a recovery would be AWSOME !! Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see the new Helicopter barge your building
DOUG. AWP drama is crazy. But the channel was great because of you. I’m really hoping you pick back up.
That view is beautiful wish Indiana had some views like that from the boat.
I love watching your videos♥️advocacy of helping people by lending rescue♥️here in the Philippines I'm on a community base volunteer radio comm. group helping in times of fire, accident and natural calamities specially when floods situation. keep it up boys 👍BRAVO
Great job, like clockwork 👍
Been a sub for a while but this will be my first comment! Mr Sparks, you’re a beast and having the opportunity to go on a rescue with your team would literally be one of the greatest experiences of my life!
Awesome vide, glad Doug realized he couldn't complete the dive and went and got a good nights sleep before trying again. Your new heavy rescue truck with the crane looks awesome, needs a whelen core setup yet.
these guys are all great actors
I'm sure we're all curious of how that boat sank? Did the plug fall out?
And Hans with the lunch bag full of sun screen break had me chuckling! Awesome recovery, glad it was a safe recovery!
The heavy equipment monsters did it again.
Been a NAUI DIver for several years with Long mustache and Beard and no major problems, But never been altitude diver,,,Ice deep dark everything else.... So be safe, if it don't feel right.... Stop ! you know the drill
Awesome job fellas 🇺🇸💪
Sick truck, nice build! Allan~ "Adventure! Excitement!" lol I'd love to come do a recovery boys! Dave~ "Yeah baby!!" 🤘🏻
Great content, better than the videos that just seem like 1 big ad.
Awesome job guys, luv the channel 👏
This is amazing! Dude, you couldn’t make a TV series doing this like fire country they fight fires and stuff like that with you and your team can recover and get stuff that’s impossible for most people, but you’ve got trained and have heavy equipment to do this type of stuff. I think if you have a TV series doing rescuing, heavy machinery, boats, trucks, etc. and you do that I think you’ll be good. Because that’s type of stuff that people love to watch is people rescuing machinery, and other objects that are hard to get out with certain type of stuff.
Thank you for all the great contents really enjoy what you guys do
Has sandpaper hands like any hard working man.
Doug Bishop is a beast 💪
Is there a second diver? If not there should be for safety. Dive buddy can save you. Sign me up on that recovery. Sparks Dive and Recovery FTW!
You really need to get an ROV for these dives, I pilot them at work and it’s amazing what you can do with them. You could send it down to do nearly all that work eliminating the dangers of sending a diver down especially in deep water. Or use with the diver and you can keep an eye on them.
Another great video. Thanks for what you do!
The channel B is for Boat, he’s building a 40ft double decker pontoon boat, with a hot tub. When you showed yours, at first I was thinking you must’ve been working with him, but yours obviously isn’t the same. Regardless, I’m looking forward to seeing both projects. BOL, and I’ll see ya in the next video. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Awesome Job guys.
It would be awesome to come out and do a recovery with you guys! The wife and I love what you guys do. Keep up the great work.
Should do a video of your favorite builds truck wise you have ever done. Take us down memory lane. Please
Damn HeavyD those tan lines tho 😂👌🏻
Love the boat content! Especially the recovery ones
I love what you guys do. Absolutely amazing to watch
This is awesome!! I live in ATX close to lake Travis and enjoy being on the lake 🔥💪🏽🇺🇸
You guys are the best I like your shows
Love the Boat recovery videos👍🏼👍🏼
I’d be all in on something like this!!! Totally in my wheelhouse 🇺🇸
Great video! I would love to join in on one one of these adventures. So awesome!
Always amazing content maybe add personal cameras to the crew to see their view on the situation.
Nice job well done tools rigging and boat power can do amazing things
I've been by Deer Creek several times over the years since I live in Utah. The camera angles were good enough that I knew exactly where you pulled up that boat. I do wonder though what caused the submersion of the boat.
Anyway, great work fellas. Keep on grinding and getting it done.
Great: Another smooth recovery
that dive guy is cool
Great job guys, another down- Rescued
pretty awesome stuff fellas
You guys are on the water on a beautiful day and Allen is wearing black pants and a black shirt. LOL
Rocket Money is as great as you say I have had it for almost 1 year now and I am super happy with it
You guys AWP and Jared you guys have all the style most people only hope for
That was an awesome recovery
Watching your amazing team getter done. I'd really like to hangout and getter done as well. Disabled but can get around very well so no safety issues let's getter done.
That’s the difference between experience and trust in one’s self and so many others who just “push through it”. That was one heck of a low blood O2.
That’s would actually be so cool to be able to go do something like this love the videos
Love these guys right here
Nice work!
thats crazy how deep that river is for how wide it is. I dont think I could be a diver.
Keep making this video guys
Awesome! Great job to all!
If he were acclimated to the altitude he would be less likely to have the severity of the concern. Being from the ocean and living rural life in 6k' elevation I understand ❤
the line for the boat ramp at the end tho 😂🤣😂
Nice boat.
28:43 That’s a busy boat ramp. Look at the line of boat trailers waiting in that line
I would LOVE LOVE LIVE TO JOIN!!! that traffic jam with big ass cars and trailers at the end do 😱😂😂
