The fact that Bay can get the support he can get from the US Army and the city of Chicago for real, made the film x10 better than it already is, and DOTM is good.
US army support flims that shows them in a good light
@@pavan_kumar556 dude, i support films that make me look good
The only good transformers sequel he made, the rest were crap
@@adamcade604 '07 and DOTM are the good ones
@@Zygomatic_BoltI’d throw Age of Extinction in there as well.
People can criticize Bay all they want, but he is one the best action film director's of our time. The final battle in this movie is just pure perfection.
Too true
Indeed
Yep 💯
Man I wish we had transformers 6
No. Just no. Films made for dullards will impress dullards i guess.
It’s actually really cool that they actually filmed all this on the ground in Chicago instead of just making a set somewhere and doing it there
yeah dude ppl make fun of the transformers movies & its fans but guess what? Transformers 1, 2, 3 & even 4, have better vfx, practical effects, writing, soundtrack, more heart, & more soul in just _one minute_ of footage, than *anything* Marvel has put out for the past 6 years.
100 procent agree with that@@John-X
The amount of destruction and mayhem that were authentic is what gave the Transformers films its identity.
Saw this film when I was 10, at theaters and it was my first and only 3D experience, it left such an impact on me that to this day it is my favourite movie ever, and this makes me love it even more
Valid this and alita battle ángel some of my favorites
8:34
These shot right here is the scene where optimus go rampage against a lot of decepticons...
Truely a master art of practical and cgi effects.
When this movie came out it got a lot of hate for being so CGI heavy. And here we are now with movies today that are literally just CGI, not even filmed in a city street, and this looks like the most incredible practical effects ever.
Loved watching all of this in the cinema when I was 13.
A friend of mine was in Chicago when they were filming this movie.
did he survive the alien invasion?
@@morsclue Yes.
was his car a decepticon disguised?
@@phillipefernando905 LOL No, but he did like adding modifications to it.
@@LarsonFilms2did the for get wrecked by a autobot?
I'm really grateful that this movies came out like 12-15 years ago bcs if it comes out today this whole battle scene would've been made in cg with no practical effects at all taking away the realistic part. All they would think is to cut cost and save time these days. Kudos to Michael bay and his team 🔥💪🏻
AMEN to this
Bay is a great ACTION MOVIE DIRECTOR. Not the best story guy. But he's going to give you some awesome action sequence.
I want Bay to direct a fast and furious movie. It would be spectacular.
Yes. This is one of the best live action films
True say whatever you want about Michael bay, but can’t deny his action scenes always deliver
@@enriqueluna8135 💯
Give Bay someone who writes very well for the story, and give the action/combat sequences and we'll be seeing a masterpiece
But it would be awesome if one day he got a permit to direct another Transformers again but also choose a professional Writer hehe.
As bad as some of these movies were the action and set design was awesome. Sucks that a lot of movies nowadays just do everything on a green screen now
Indeed. I don’t think they were that bad, they were dumb fun with some cool lore and characters
Not really, these blockbusters still use fairly intricate sets by default.
Who said the movies were bad , try watching them in order and you'll know
The only mid transformers movie is the last knight.
All bayverse movies were absolute bangers
@@declanstanley1083 The Last Knight wasn’t mid, it was absolutely terrible. Rise of The Beasts was the definition of mid
This has got to be one of the most impressive productions behind a film in the history of movies
My favorite Transformers film 🔥
the chicago sequences absolutely made this movie for me
Then wtf was Spiderman NWH's excuse to cgi the entire city if we had this happened?
Disney.
@@diacsquad1117 Sony, too.
@@wickdaline8668 that is true.
no one wanted an abusive director on set with horribly high expectations on the rest of the crew
@@user-lynKx there's also that.
I will never forget this IMAX 3D experience. It was for my 16th birthday and the whole auditorium was packed and we were transported to this world the most giant screen you can imagine. Everything felt REAL
I knew the movie used a lot of real effects but I had NO idea it was this involved. Holy cow! Thats why the movie is so awesome man!!!
I love this movie!!!!! This is incredible.
this is way better than CGI
You have no idea what you're talking about. Try removing VFX from a movie like this and see where you end up, it's the blend between SFX and VFX that makes this shit work. Stop spreading ignorant opinions like that
How good people even work in those buildings Shi would be crazy
Huge respect for Bay for not going all out in CGs and actually put the effort to hand-built these scenes. And I remember that it looks damn amazing when I first saw this a decade ago.
The wreckers alt modes in this movie are so damn cool
bay did his ass of on this one msot amazing city of destruction so happy micheal bay took his time doing this
oh man i love the transformers franchise. i am so grateful that my parents has shown me Transformers back when i was toddler i may not have watched allof the g1 stuff as i was born in 2003 but still all the G1 shows and movies thats what got me into the franchise and i loved it ever since. man i tearing up and crying while typing this out too ahaha.
It rly goes to show how much hard work and dedication is required for these films. Very cool
I have a greater respect for those that made this movie come to fruition. Bravo indeed!
Behind the scenes of Bumblebee vs Barricade in Transformers (2007)
People give Bay so much crap for being a jerk, but when I hear him talk I don’t hear a jerk. I hear a man trying to get stuff done. It’s why his work is so great. You have to be stern and pushy to get things done. It’s a necessary evil.
fr at the end of the day they get paid
Wellll I shouldn’t even have to explain this to you but this is a BTS of the movie, which they are promoting and making money off of. Of course they will paint Michael in the best light possible, they aren’t going to use any clips of him being a d*ckhead.
Most of the time when they do city scenes its all cgi, but they were so dedicated that they closed down the roads to do the movie. Now that right there is hard work.
bay got the whole chigago to himself is what crazy
This is why bay is the best person to do transformers
just rewatched the movie yesterday. Damn it way exceeded my memory in how good it was
Wow, that's mighty impressive.
I love the bayverse!!!!! I want it back
This movie made $1.1 billion dollars
Great movie! My favorite part of Transformers trilogy 🔥
And somehow this film had a lower budget than Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania 😂
Bro you’re fucking lying no way😂
@@ackrite2312 by nearly $100 million 😂
Bro I searched it up after reading your comment and I am amazed because the cgi in that movie in most parts was fucked😂. W Transformers!!
@ackrite2312 yeah physical sets cost less but take time while cgi costs more with less time
Another Transformers W 😮💨
Insane scale of film making.
They have made awesome filming they r realistic looking
One of the best action packed climax in cinema 🔥
this man is incredibly prestigious, the government allows him to have a city to shoot his film, do whatever he wants up to the point of destroying buildings
People living in Chicago hear explosions and gunfire every day, just business as usual.
Transformers is perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really wild action & stunts
We want Michael Bay to return to the Transformers film series
We do.
He messed up at last knight but the first 4 movies were absolute bangers
@@declanstanley1083
Lol, yeah, Last Knight didn't really feel connected to the other four other than a few scenes.
Sadly he want to get out from the series since tf3
7:35😂😂
holy shit, that thumbnail, the title and the video uploaded a few hours ago I thought there was a terrorist attack hahaha, you trolled me
I love dark of the moon Rosie Huntington-whiteley
Так грустно осозновать, что такие фильмы больше не снимут. Все ушло в сторону мультяшности и ориентацию на детей.
Exactly. Hollywood is hollow and dead inside now.
You’re acting as if every movie today is rated G or something. Hollywood definitely isn’t in it’s prime right now, but saying their more cartoonish and targeting kids is just straight up lying.
Thank you very much for this share! Much love to you!
I remember seeing the filming of this when I would come down to Chicago
So cool!!
incredible Shia Labeouf Movie United Forever
I am imagining Decepticon mini-drones zooming down low over the Chicago River, towards the good-guy military platoons. The drones are firing machine guns at the platoons, and the military platoons do a counter-fire at them. (If you faced real combat, this is known as "cover fire.") Simulated explosions go off probably from the incoming missiles by the Decep drones trying to destroy the soldiers.
O zamanlar 48 GB blue-ray izlemiştim. CGI ve sahneler konusunda çok başarılı bir filmdi.
these days movies are lying about shooting everything in camera while bay was actually dong it more than a decade ago!!!
Guys best CGI in Cinema...
remember peeps 13 years ago
MASTERPIECE
DARK OF THE MOON
This was the only Transformers movie I thought was decent.
So that’s what The Queen is doing now.
Love Rosie Huntington-whiteley
08:00 and 08:05 Somebody can tell me in what part of Chicago is?
Just realized how nasaly Bay's voice is, I'll never un-hear it 😭
I always felt an unnecessary hatred from people towards bay's explosions, thanks to that these 3 movies were EPIC and they were not appreciated. now everything is done with CGI
I envy those who saw this outside their window
Estos si eran pelis
Look Marvel and Disney this is how you make a real looking Movie! No Problem with CGI but dont forget old school filmmaking
Michael Bay : boom boom boom
I miss the good days ☺️
No one has done it like bay also got the best casting only if Megan was still in it
wow this is insane
It's Michael Bay man
Michael is a genius
Michael bay who make this cars alive and i loved it
Rotb and BB is just soulless compared to this blockbuster. Now Transformers just walk and talk in empty worlds.
Rotb was good tho
Yeah but why was it a box office flop tho if you claim it "was good" instead of saying "I think it was good"
@@alobaymar Idk tbh but I felt it was better than the BB movie by miles.
Wow❤❤
This movie cost 190 M, and The Flash 200 M. What happened there?
all the money went towards crappy cgi
Wow
Polite the right word in itself.🎉❤😊
feel bad for the cleanup crews
They are paid well
it would've been a better movie if megan fox was in this film
who's beast: Bay or Cameron?
why is there some of the shots are with Kremlin background?
Where is optimus and others?
Sure some of the transformers get hate but dark of the moon and aoe have the best action
7:36: Schwalm
I don’t get how they can just shut down a city block for 3 days or a week or whatever… what about the people who work in those buildings? Do they just not go to to work for a week? I really don’t get it lol
They find an alternative route or walk.. 🤷🏾♀️ there’s not one way to get through the city, there’s many. May cause traffic but you plan ahead. Just like shutting down streets to repair them or for accidents.
@@BeeetchImStaciayep that is one of the consideration Bay have picking cities, he can not shutdown any access like sentinel did lol
Insane how real the scene looks. I would have never guessed that was foam that was just colored to look like real concrete or stone. Makes you wonder, how much of what we've seen on the news is fake?
Can you imagine the money they had to pay to all the parking meters.
Why would i watch the movie when i can see it irl😂😂
Say what you want about Bay's movies, you can't watch this kind of grandeur anywhere else.
8:54 Edna
chicago must have been so dead back in the recession
Real
im indian im hollywood movie lever
Imagine how much better all of the Transformers Michael Bay directed films if they had focused on two things: 1: Consistency and continuity. And 2: Putting More focus on the Cybertronians instead of humans after the first film. As much as he did with literally everything and everyone else
😁
The first Transformers is so good BECAUSE it has LESS action in it.
Both II and III became so BORING because it was just endless explosions i just got board of watching it.
That just shows how much his movies have evolved and I enjoyed it
@@Neil_Nunez Mindless explosions is not "evolving" lol
@Enchilada750 and yet its the best one :)
@Enchilada750it made sense in the first one because they took the approach of a disaster movie z introducing us throw people to the idea of the transformers, so it gets a pass. They should definitely focus more on the robots in the sequels
@@MerchantIvoryfilms from someone who has films in his name I will never understand how you call these explosions mindless
Bring back bayverse!!!!!
These new movies are horrible
