Hello hello, I hope you enjoyed this video and the photos (I really hope I'm not alone thinking these are kind of funny haha). Much love to Tarion for sponsoring the video and upgrading my tripod set. If you want to check it out for yourself you can find it here: geni.us/4Xzql Have a lovely week and see you soon, Teo
I would love to see this concept over time with wildly different locations, on different days, and different outfits but always somewhere in the background there is a falling man.
the effort you put not only in the photography but the explaining segments doesn't go unnoticed. I really appreciate the little details that you've been implementing a lot recently, fabulous work teo
It is videos like these that really give a photography beginner like myself the itch to go and shoot even more. This is wonderful, I can't wait to see more of this concept!
I like this a lot! (Both the photo concept and the video production.) I generally appreciate juxtaposing the silly and the "grand". Used to make large panos with my daughter somewhere small in the frame or a nice landscape with me doing something ridiculous (like tanning with a lounge chair/umbrella beach setup on a frozen winter mountain). You're inspiring to bring that back now that I'm into cycling. Always love seeing something different. Great job!
I adore this photo concept, and would love to see it continued. I love how it inserts some "tension", spontaneity and comedy into otherwise formal compositions, in a really clever and fun way. I also feel its a great reaction to your own often somber self portraits. and really shows your range as a photographer. I would love to see it continued, and have you falling across all different locations, it feel the further it is pushed and the more absurd the scale and effort the more funny it gets. it is reminding mr of mister bean, with you being a character who constantly ends up in extremely unfortunate situations.
Now, a year after starting with photography I feel like not having any new ideas and also not really making a progression. I came back to your videos which are very helpful and inspiring. You even manage to include an actual informative and relevant advert. Also I'd like to adress your editing style: it always looks so wholesome and 'fluffy' to me - I really like that! Please continue what you're doing for as long as you feel happy about it :)
I think the slide one on the playground really is the masterpiece of the trip because I believe it does exactly what you want it to do: Oh, this is a nice little playground with some pretty colors. What the eff, is that someone falling off the slide? LOL! Nailed it.
First I want to say love the concept!! Hilarious!! Inspired to try some of my own. Second, love the cinematic style, feels like I was watching a film in the beginning. Well done!!
Laughing with you when you said you felt like the houses were watching 😅bringing our visions to life may look funny to others sometimes, but seeing the final product is so worth it (most of the time)!
I actually loved this idea. Very original. I think the scenes where you were smaller in the frame definitely work better as there’s more time before the viewer notices you. Just makes it funnier and more of a shock if it takes just that bit longer to see. I adore how despite the fact you’re taking pictures of yourself falling, the scenery and beautiful views you’re capturing are still incredible. No shortage of quality here. Some of your falls looked like breakdancing moves which I thought was even more hilarious, haha. I hope you heal up well after this shoot but I’d definitely love to see more of it in the future. What a fun idea for “self portraits” too. Love your videos and content so much. I’m currently saving up for a Lumix GX85- coming from a little compact digicam- because I’ve seen so many users, including yourself, talk about how it’s such a great little gem in the camera world. Definitely a great price too. Anyways, sorry for the essay, great content as usual!
Aww thank you! Alright, was thinking the same, thanks for the reassurance. Oh that's something I really like about the photo of the church. That one felt like it could be a neat photo by itself :D Hahah you might be onto something, because I used to dance as a Bboy quite a bit actually, but since the Pandemic I haven't been to training :/ All healed yep! I had sore muscles for a couple days after that shoot, but feeling good again now. Ohh sweet, I hope you manage to get your hands on one soon! :) Thank you!
Man you are living the life of my dreams . Wanted to be a photographer but it didn't come true and now i enjoy watching others do the things what i wanted to do once
I would love to see more of this idea. I love the juxtaposition between the beautiful landscape and you eating dirt hahaha. I feel like you could capture some really great shots, its a bloody good concept!
i really love what this did with this concept!! you never fail to bring these crazy ideas to lifee. i would love to see more exploration in different settings
This genuinely made me smile and laugh while watching, and in a very good way. I like how you combined really good landscape compositions with the comedic concept - and how that worked out
The concept is absolutely brilliant! Although, taking a single video and going through them frame by frame might be better for your own body- I think that the comedic idea adds this wonderful and relaxing contrast to the overwhelming beauty of a photograph!
Hahah I was a Bboy from around 2012 until the Pandemic - I kind of want to get back into training actually, but haven't since 2020 sooo I've been on a bit of pause. But THANK YOU! :))
The colors of your video are really nice and calming. After watching your videos i bought my own gx80 and not regret it. Still learning. Thank you for your nice and informative videos
I think this is a really excellent idea an the execution turned out fantastically. I loved all the photos, and seeing them in a row was really interesting. I'm not really sure that I have the words to describe why it works so well but I think it does. There's something intensely satisfying with all of the otherwise aesthetically pleasing photos, mixed in with the tension and mystery of this ever pervasive 'falling man'. Awesome project, and great vid
I don’t know if you’ll see this but you’re one of my inspiration of taking film and my life hasn’t been the best lately but your videos just give me peace & serenity. Thank you. Keep up the beautiful, creative work of yours. I truly enjoy it.
I absolutely LOVED every single minute of this video. I've been following you for quite some time now, but I have to say, this must be one of my favorite videos on your channel. I just love the whole concept of doing something a little unconventional and unexpected, it's really up my alley and so I would be thrilled if you could add more silly ideas into that notebook and work on bringing them to life.
I really love this concept, I think it makes for great interest and therefore photos that I want to keep coming back to look at, because they really take you by surprise. Personally, I think the "weirdness" of the position a little less important than the sense of movement. I actually really like the shot with the bench for exactly that reason. It may be somewhat obvious that you've just jumped off the bench, but I love that the feeling of calmness that the setting provides is disturbed by a small but rather extreme motion frozen in mid-air.
This is brilliant. I 100% think this is funny and it's the exact kind of thing I always gravitate to. I was a fine arts major and this is right up my alley. Subscribed. I would buy a photo book of this.
I think the concept is hilarious and it's fantastically executed (both the photo and the video). I originally found your channel as a GX80 shooter, and it's a great inspiration for me to get back to photography time and time again.
Such an original idea! I am actually amazed by both the results and the way this video is filmed. Woah your work is so inspiring , I am looking forward to see more creative ideas like this 🙌
I am in love with the concept and already like the results! With a bit of your already mentioned refinements i would love to buy one as a print or even better: the best ones as a collage with smaller individual frames! I adore your creativity and editing style :)
This is absolutely amazing. the story, the photography and your audio is so crispy and it feels like i'm watching this in a theatre! would love some tip if you want to make a video about it :>
Hi Teo, another great video , if I was not mistaken you write with you left hand and as I say upside down, it’s the way you hold the pen. I hold the same way. If it’s the case and in case you did not know it’s a sign of both intelligence and creativity😊 Exactly describes you Cheers from Andrew in Ottawa Canada 🇨🇦
Hahah thanks, I used to dance a lot as a Bboy (Pandemic kind of hit the stop on that) so I have my fair share of experience in controlled falling haha :,D
Hey ! I love the concept :) Maybe you should consider bringing a mattress, this way you can fall heavily and have exactly the pose you want. Then, you combine this falling shot with a shot of just the scene without you in it and remove the mattress digitally. I know it defeats the purpose of the ''one shot'' process but, yeah, just an idea haha Anyway, keep having fun !
A big thumbs up for your creative ideas. You make creativity look like an easy game. But when you look closely and see how many different camera angles and scenes this video has, I can totally tell the amount of work you put into this. Absolutely amazing and you're a big inspiration! Keep up your great work.
Bello, this was so cool,i want to do something similiar to this on my trip to italy and switzerland next year I had a few doubts though if you would answer them would be awesome what sort of lens is required for decent street photography zoom or prime and does the kit lens of about 16-55mm do the work ((i havent got my camera as of yet will buy it shortly)) what would you reccommend sony zve10 or lumix g85 and what software do you utilize for colour grading
Hey Teo, Can you record a video showing how you edit your photos and videos to get this warm, comforting and greenish aesthetic... I'm not sure what to call it
I think a funny idea would be if you seamlessly included at least one shot of you falling in each of your other "usual" photography session videos. Could be just a little inside joke specific to your channel to have this throughout all your videos, a type of "tripping multiverse" 😂 (Probably the same idea like a different commenter suggested)
How about taking someone with you next time to press the shutter? You'd have 10fps bursts and fewer bruises, and they'd have a good laugh. 😅 Reminded me of Sandro Giordoan's photos, but yours are beautifully subtle, with the subjects complementing each other (though often break-dancey because of the long intervals). 🤸♂️
Ahhh honestly I think the work would mean much more to me knowing that they're all self portraits really done by myself, but thank you for the suggestion! :) Thank you also for the kind comment
Hello hello, I hope you enjoyed this video and the photos (I really hope I'm not alone thinking these are kind of funny haha).

dude I am amazed time and time again by how quickly he produces absolutely crazy vids by himself, massive fistbump
I would love to see this concept over time with wildly different locations, on different days, and different outfits but always somewhere in the background there is a falling man.
Hahaha reading your comment and thinking of this project at that scale makes me really want to keep pursuing this one, I like that - thanks!
the effort you put not only in the photography but the explaining segments doesn't go unnoticed. I really appreciate the little details that you've been implementing a lot recently, fabulous work teo
"Maybe next time I'll just shoot video and grab a still frame from that?"
Maybe next time? You are certainly suffering for your art. I love it!
It is videos like these that really give a photography beginner like myself the itch to go and shoot even more. This is wonderful, I can't wait to see more of this concept!

This was so fun to watch, adding humour to artworks is always a good idea and I think the end shots were great 🙌
0:14 the itching b roll made me laugh way too much

Hahahah the Bean comparison is funny :,D
Happy to hear you enjoy it, thank you for sharing your thoughts! :))
This series of photos looks like something you'd find in a modern art museum
Teo, your videos are so aesthetically pleasing and satisfying to watch
this was so creative and funny at the same time

only few groups might think it's interesting, luckily I am part of it, amazed!
love the creativity!
Those are some cool photos
That's so cool! Shots by themselves are fantastic, but with you tripping on them it's just hilarious and incredible at the same time!!!
First I want to say love the concept!! Hilarious!! Inspired to try some of my own. Second, love the cinematic style, feels like I was watching a film in the beginning. Well done!!

Best edited video of yours till now in my opinion. It felt so good to watch .
the committment to the shots is superb - loved this video and I think you should continue this series LOL !!
A really fun concept and as a set I think it would be super with a broader variety of backgrounds.
I would love to see more of this idea. I love the juxtaposition between the beautiful landscape and you eating dirt hahaha. I feel like you could capture some really great shots, its a bloody good concept!
i wasnt sold at first but from the second photo on i kept getting more amused with each photo. This is genius. The effort is insane!!
these are the kind of photos that would go viral
The way you shot your (video) scenes in this video kinda feels like a Wes Anderson movie. Very appealing!
i really love what this did with this concept!! you never fail to bring these crazy ideas to lifee. i would love to see more exploration in different settings
Hi teo. I love when you make videos with the gx85. I purchased it because of you and have been having fun shooting with it.
This genuinely made me smile and laugh while watching, and in a very good way. I like how you combined really good landscape compositions with the comedic concept - and how that worked out

I love a funny and silly concept in the midst of crazy times. Thank you!
What type of breakdance did u do growing up each fall was MAJESTIC
Hahah I was a Bboy from around 2012 until the Pandemic - I kind of want to get back into training actually, but haven't since 2020 sooo I've been on a bit of pause. But THANK YOU! :))
Man, you made me fall in love with photography, I can't wait to do something similar before the snow arrives.
He also *fell* in love with photography
The quality of these videos just keep going up
Very cool idea and style! Love the silliness aspect and I think having your size vary throughout the photos works well.
Quality of the videos are getting to the carzy good level, such a joy to watch. And of course, the lovely GX80 delivers as always! :)
This was such a cute and creative video. After the first fall, each new shot and new fall made me giggle and laugh.
The colors of your video are really nice and calming. After watching your videos i bought my own gx80 and not regret it. Still learning. Thank you for your nice and informative videos

The idea is genius and the execution is a masterpiece. The photos and the video. Good work 👏👏
Enjoying an excellent photograph that was captured by you while listening to why it could look nice, is like killing 2 birds with 1 stone I guess
I absolutely love this concept and these photographs are beautiful ❤
I also love how you analyse and reflect on your work 😊
Seeing the bts for this series makes it that much better hahah

Ohh that's an interesting take on the body-position, thank you!
I suggest to make a story about the whole capturing thing, stories in photographs are awesome 💟✨ thank u for continue creating !! 🪄
Absolutely love this video! Such a creative idea makes me want to try it but also I don't wanna fall over 40 thousand times haha

I think the concept is hilarious and it's fantastically executed (both the photo and the video). I originally found your channel as a GX80 shooter, and it's a great inspiration for me to get back to photography time and time again.
Funny to watch, but really loved the concept. I can definitely picture a set of these photos hanging around my place. Awesome work! Congrats
I aim to do this someday as well. What a hilarious idea!
This is genius I absolutely love this. I hope you continue with the concept I would enjoy watching more!
You fall like a pro lmao. Love this concept.

Absolutely loved this video, both concept and photography wise! This would be my all-time favorite video of yours!!

Love seeing concepts like this! Also, I didn't know you were this agile haha good stuff!!
I love this concept lol!

I must say you are good at falling

But when you look closely and see how many different camera angles and scenes this video has, I can totally tell the amount of work you put into this. Absolutely amazing and you're a big inspiration! Keep up your great work.
you missed the perfect opportunity to fall like Peter Griffin :D. jokes aside this is an amazing video. story telling is so good
also you fall like a professional
the third shot it looks like you're brake dancing more than a fall, it doesn't look like a fall at all tbh but it still a funny shot non the less
Bello, this was so cool,i want to do something similiar to this on my trip to italy and switzerland next year
I had a few doubts though if you would answer them would be awesome
what sort of lens is required for decent street photography zoom or prime and does the kit lens of about 16-55mm do the work
((i havent got my camera as of yet will buy it shortly))
what would you reccommend sony zve10 or lumix g85
and what software do you utilize for colour grading
Very nice idea, and well executed.
Btw, I'm just 2h away in Gsiiberg 😊😉
Have you seen Bas Jan Ader's series of falls (photos and films) from the early 70's? Less light hearted, but they might interest you.

I liked the idea and the results. I think some kinda prop will add more silliness to the composition.
Can you make a tutorial on how you color grade these videos, what color profile you use on your camera and how you set exposure :)
