Her husband told her she didn’t have to make lunch for him because lunch would be provided at the work site but Rose brought him lunch anyway. She is taking care of her man! I love it!! She even sat down to have lunch with him! This is my favorite channel now. Wholesome and sweet living! 😀❤️🌷

I just LOVE this couple; both ALWAYS looking out for each other! Rose is such an empathic spirit who not only knows her husband and looks out/after him but she also looks after family and other people she cares about. She just knew that her husband would make sacrifices (i.e. not eat the expensive meat) and Rose knew this. And it's the way she also shows her gratitude to her husband's cousin for getting her husband extra work and cooks for him too. This is what you call a TRUE FAMILY. I'm in tears, such a beautiful and simple life. He loves her so much that he wants to be able to provide for her and his child. She loves him soo much and she is willing to go through the trouble of going to town and cook and bringing it to him on his lunch break. This is the definition of a marriage life. Simple indeed.

As a teen.during summer mu mother prepared my dads meal and had me take it to the worksite. My father was an Architect as well as builder

He suddenly turned sweet the workers loved my visits because the had a break . I was born in the Caribbean on migrating Canada I would prepare cooked.meals.all.home.made.the.

fìrst few I did say and night shifts then it was straight days with a lot of on calls. Upon retiring my husband would cook on weekends well.iys 3 years since his transition so it great to love and care for each other becàuse one day memories are all one have so make happy ones.

Hi Rose🌹new subbie here. I used to live in China. I'm black American . I moved there in 2010 and stayed for a few years. I used to live in Guandong Province. I really enjoyed living there. I used to cook a big fish along with egg plant. I really can't remember it. Maybe you can. Can you please cook a dish like that in one of your videos? I still have friends there. They are Nigerians married to Chinese women with children. I hope covid did not affect your villiage much. I have a 10 year visa and do plan to return. Hopefully, I can meet you. : )
One thing I have learnt from this family is to be present and to practise gratitude and to appreciate the everyday mundane stuff. I have never looked at a watermelon and noticed just how red it was or even eaten an orange and commented on how juicy it was. This family practises mindful living and it is wonderful to see. This lady can cook! The food looked so delicious that she prepared for her husband, and effortless for her! I would have been in the kitchen the whole day trying to cook that delicious looking meal. It looked like an expensive restaurant meal!

I've actually been wondering about this... As their viewership grows, how will their life change? And do youtubers in every country make the same kind of money or is there a sliding scale?
@@davitam1895 I actually googled a bit on it. Apparently the lady started off making content just to update loved ones back at home of her new experiences. It attracted the right audience and eventually a local tourism marketing ( or so) company, approached her with an influencer deal and there's a camera crew of 5 ( or so) for that. A contract might exist and whether it is fair and generates enough for the family is another story for another day. The husband left his job to join her so the money might be good enough to get by

Rose, I have never been to Asia but I want to visit China because of you…FYI Chinese food in the 🇺🇸 is nothing to what you cook for your family❣️
Go to Chinese neighborhoods. That's where the real Chinese food is. And not the historic Chinatowns because many of those restaurants cater to the tastebuds of Americans. But the newer unofficial Chinatowns of America populated by more recent immigrants from other parts of China, there you will find lots of good Chinese food. Representative of different parts of China. :) I live in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY and the Chinese restaurants in my neighborhood are gross. Totally geared towards western palates. Everything is way too greasy. Not nutritious or high quality ingredients. Makes me sad. I have to venture into Chinatown in Manhattan for good Cantonese cuisine or take the train into Flushing in Queens for other Chinese provincial cuisines. I love it though. Except for home cooking, the only Chinese restaurants I grew up with in San Francisco were primarily Cantonese because people from my province were the early Chinese settlers in America so most Chinatowns in the US are primarily Cantonese people. Then people from Fujian. But now there's people from different provinces bringing along with them their cuisines. Also, back then, assimilation was the name of the game and you couldn't get a white American to eat Chinese food unless you catered to their palates. To make money, you have to cook to their tastebuds. Thus, a lot of Americanized Chinese food was born. But now, these newer generations don't feel the same pressure to assimilate or alter their traditions or recipes. It's great. Of course, nothing beats Chinese food from China, especially in rural China. Farm to table freshness! I remember visiting my dad's village and eating at a local nondescript restaurant. Very simple dishes. But you could taste the sweetness in the vegetables. I never realized how good fresh vegetables could taste. I hope you get the chance to go!

@@Tobeesho Even Westerners in China were also surprised at how little their knowledge was about authentic Chinese food back home in their Western countries. Also, not to mention about the many provinces of huge China where each province has its own variety.

Wow! I don't know how this channel ended up in my feed, but I've been binging the videos. I still don't know how Rose ended up in China but she looks happy. So far I see she has one son. I would love to see her with another child (I think Chinese allowed two children now). I just came across this channel by accident. These videos prove that you don't have to be rich to have a sweet life and happy marriage. In my country so many couples break up because of money.
