I will always love Bono. I’m thankful that I got to meet him outside of a hotel after a Texas gig way back in 1987. He spent about 20 minutes talking with our small group of fans and is truly funny, kind and intelligent in person just as he is here. ❤

That was a great interview and Bono is clearly the real deal, but if I had one criticism it is the band should have played more when he started singing as he might have kept going and that would have been a real banger.
Favorite Smell? My Mother ironing...Oh My Gosh! I had forgotten all ABOUT that smell but YES and I can smell it now!! My Mother took in ironing for other people and she had that ironing board right in the living room. Man. The smell of the spray starch and the hiss of her old steam iron and the had a Coke bottle full of water, with a cork on top with holes drilled into it, to sprinkle the clothes as she ironed. That was a LOVELY answer!
I opened for Bono back in 2015 for an event for Wells Fargo at the Versace mansion South Beach. Dude was so down to earth and humble and got paid $1M for an hour show I'll never forget it
Zooropa is soooo underrated and so ahead of its time!! It's cool that it has become so beloved amongst younger U2 fans like myself. Hopefully as appreciation for it has grown the band will start giving it more attention! "Lemon" is such an amazing song. It manages to be this kinda weird Bowie-esque dance song that also has moments of fragile beauty. The lyrics have a depth that has grown for me over time. That song has so many levels that take time to reveal themselves.
I was so in love with Bono when I was like 12. Loved U2. The first CD I ever bought was 'Boy'.. My s*xual awakening was 'Achtung Baby' and watching all the videos they had on MTV, Bono crooning passion into the universe...I am 42 now, and I loved him starting when he was 32. I hope someday to see this band in person. At a time when my teeny bopper friends were swooning over New Kids on the Block I started listening to rock through U2, and they helped me be braver to become the person I wanted to be, even though I was then shunned and/or bullied by my classmates when they found out. Much thanks and gratitude to U2, your music helped my soul to blossom, hopefully someday I can tell them in person, even though I realize they probably hear that from so many people and I'd be gone the very second after I could express this. At least writing this here has had a bit of a therapeutic effect! I wish them well!🥰
Saw U2 in the 80's at a tremendous show Wynonna Judd was in the audience and came onstage to sing one song with the band. Even after that, it was probably the best live concert I ever saw out of 100's. It was the "Joshua Tree" tour.
