Thank you for sharing this vdo, though stop-motion aficionado, I didn't know this movie. Not so bad in spite we are not with the Ray Harryhausen quality standard level! Peculiarly in the carving of the puppets. Interesting anyway!
It's pretty crude, but people were trying out new ideas. For example, in traditional "dynamation" the puppet is in front of or to the side of the actors. Here, we get the actor crossing in front of the puppet, which was extremely difficult to do.
The gorilla bull dog looking thing called the Taurus is said to be 18 feet tall in the movie said by KAIJUMATIC almost the height of Kong 1933 but the old man in the gorilla hands is about 5’ 4” the Taurus is definitely not 18 feet tall he is about 12 - 13 feet tall. Or 7 - 9 feet tall
