This fight is pretty well done, being we don't usuallly get underwater fights in the series! Although in this film, it is stock footage. But stock footage or not, it provides several monster fights in the same movie, thus resulting in plenty of Godzilla action!
I actually don't mind this movie as much as some other fans. Don't get me wrong, it's not the best Godzilla movie. But for kids, it's alright! It has a short runtime, plenty of action, and a child protagonist, everything a kid could want!
I'd rather watch this than the Netflix anime Godzilla films. At least this film is enjoyably bad, which makes it kinda funny. The animated ones are just bad because they are boring! And as a Christian, they offend my faith! This one is harmless by comparison!

The most spectacular scene in this movie was the final battle in which Godzilla did a super flying kick to a ferocious monster! There were lots of Godzilla roar too! When I was in elementary school we had something called monster rally week & this was on , I’ve seen this only once but it remained my favorite Godzilla movie through out my childhood.
Now imagine this scene but made by Legendary Pictures: the only way to not make it cringy/unintentionally funny would be to make Minizilla behave like a normal animal and bond with the Japanese kid in a similar vein to Dr. Serizawa and the Big G.
A Legendary film taking inspiration from anything that Minya (or any form of a baby Godzilla in the franchise) appeared in would be awesome and is bound to be adorable. Even surpassing baby Yoda himself! It'd have to be called "Son of Godzilla", obviously.

Minilla's Japanese voice makes me feel even more sad for him and Ichiro. They're both latchkey kids who can't spend time with their parents, and are lonely. I guess it's partially because I'm part Japanese and can understand them without subtitles.

I know this Minilla is a figment of this kids dreams, but I feel so sad knowing that he's really lonely and gets picked on a lot. I like the popular fan theory that the Godzilla featured in the films from Godzilla vs. Hedorah through Terror of Mechagodzilla is actually the Showa Minilla, now grown to adulthood.
