Well, considering all the cut scenes and eventual that were either in or that came after this game and the stuff that kratos has seen and what he says to atreus towards the end of the 2018 God of War, you start to realize that kratos was likely desensitized over time to where the beast inches from his face wouldn't be that intimidating to him
trust me same here and well both times i didn't saw how that boss died and i even cried on how it was so difficult to me it was when i was like 4 or 5 years old and yes that boss fight was the one I just couldn't beat it........

Jason Axiak the blades arent actually normal, they have kind of fire power, oh and the chains were supposed to be permanently stuck in kratos arms cuz they were hot af when he put them for the first time so they are stuck in his hand *But then kratos removed them somehow in GOW4.*
When I first saw this Kratos was just standing there as the Minotaur smashes it's fist in front of him without him flinching made me believe he been through this before but after playing the prequels, I cannot see why else he wouldn't be intimidated, it's just another day in the office for Kratos

I've not completed these games on the harder difficulties but I've heard that the old god of war games were more difficult than dark souls it's just that few know about it because you can change difficulty

When I first went against this boss battle, it drove me insane, but after many years of playing over and over again Pandora’s Guardian became one of my favorites to beat.
Default :D All the videos that were strategy guide videos seemed to show the best way to fight him was to fight him on the platform, so that's the way I did it. And, it worked!
It pretty much underlines how so little can throw him off. At this point of the series, he was the celestial hitman for the Greek Gods, so he's seen a bunch of shit already. So a undead Steampunk Minotaur is just another day at work.
I was just curious about what was back there the first time. When the minotaur came out, I was like, "WHAAAAT?!? I get to fight one of these guys?!?" I got excited! If I'd known what I would get after the fight the first time, I'd have probably tried to end the fight faster just to get to Army Of Hades!
People said the god of war 1 2 and 3 were just button mashing no it isnt it has other moves too (in too lazy to go through them all) we have magic blocking rolling and quick time events

The best character trait Kratos has is how he will just stare something like this down. He doesn't back down from anything. Not Zeus, a dragon, Odin, Thor, nobody. The way he stood up to the Tyr in the prison and the way he rose 8 feet taller than Kratos and he just looked up.
In my opinion this is the best boss in this game the stage in this fits great and the music fits perfectly to the armored minotaur this is why kratos is a badass in all if the god of war games
With all the remakes being made today Insomniac need to do a remake of this game just because of this boss. Just imagine God of War 2005 being upgraded to PS5 standard graphics
honestly what a terrifying boss fight, forget the multiple steps to beat it but they literally built it up to something you would fight as it keeps slamming the door. And what it does come it's as every bit as chaotic and intimating as your imagination thought it would be. freaking zombie no less like sheesh

Nono they remastered God of War from DVD quality to BluRay quality since PS3 onwards. It was said by Stig himself that GoW 3 was exceptional and superior to GoW 1 and 2 due to the limitations that DVD /PS2 had. In fact, Kratos was bald due to these limitations because animating hair takes a lot of power and memory.
I was pressing circle like a maniac for like 30 minutes and nothing was happening, thinking this was the hardest boss in the game, so I search for a video like this to see what I was doing wrong. Turns out that nothing was wrong, I was pressing circle correctly. Then I back to the game after the video, pressed the buttun and suddenly it worked. like, WTF
I tried it with the Artemis Blade on Normal and Hard Mode last night. It didn't make the fight any easier (maybe I was doing it wrong), but it DID make the fight more fun.
