El Bastardo del Titán well the captain was locking the all those women in the captain’s quarters so I guess kratos knew that he was keeping all of them to himself
I would be more for a modern reimagining, than a shot for shot remake. One of the things I hated the most of this game (don't misunderstand, I loved it, it's simply my less favourite in the series tho) it's the very few bosses, especially compared to the later games. I would add a few more to it.
Kratos: Never mind the fact that I slayed a sea monster the size of a mountain, I guess I need a key to open a door not much taller than I am. Santa Monica: Well you couldn't fight an awesome boss if we went by that logic now would you.
Always the damn doors. You think Zeus cursed every door just to dick with Kratos even more? Kratos: I have slain man, machine, God, monster, and undead alike; but what evil could conjure so that I may be prohibited from breaking even simple wooden doors?! Santa Monica: that, dear protagonist, would be our evil sorcery, the power of invulnerability coding that prevents you from even scratching the wood work. Kratos: the Gods truly have abandoned me...
For those who are saying this boss fight is hard ,in the Greek mythology the hydra has nine heads and one of them is immortal and the moment you cut off one normal head two more takes its place.
The big hydra fight scares the living shit outta me when I was little, playing this part for the first time. They way it looks menacing then the smaller ones by its appearance in size scale, how loud it roars, its souless eyes with sharp jagget teeth, and the fact that it lives in the sea giving you another reason to fear the water lol overall terrifyingly awesome boss fight.
This is one of the most memorable boss fights ever for me. Not only it was epic, it showed why we should be excited about this new franchise called God of War.
0:07 Y'know I feel this bit of dialogue would have made more sense had the sailors been fighting off the Hydra's smaller heads with things like I dunno...actual weapons or atleast use some type of long fishing spears to fend off the creatures. (keeping their distance away from those jagged teeth) Heck these sailors could've been shown in earlier cutscenes to have managed to actually "kill" one or two of the sea beast's lesser heads only for them to be revived or 'regenerated' by the main head, maybe with the help of a couple of those ballistas you find elsewhere mounted on the ships. (incase of pirate raids or the odd mythical sea monster attacks..) Not that big of deal but it would've added that nice bit of context that might have made that one off and forgotten bit of dialogue more impactful, like these poor sailors really were trying desperately to kill the monsters and defend themselves but to no avail until a lone marked warrior came to their..."rescue." (lets go with that word)

Our vocal chords produced by air in our throats that produces sound is what makes us talk, So its a hurricane in there.
Actually the man with the key survives then dies when kratos lets him fall by taking the key on his neck
And imagine how loud the voice of Cronos is, since he is much bigger.

yeah the hydra is way more powerful in the mythology, even it’s blood was poisonous
