TFW, you spend so much time on one video to get just a few views while you look at your kid's "brain rot" content getting millions of views in a month 😢
I felt this before. But now I try to not think about the numbers. Not that I gave up, I just say I did great on platform, and still learning on TH-cam.
I just spent 2 months working on a project video went up and not 9hrs went by and someone hit the remix button is this a good this or a bad thing? I'm a new creature about 1 year.
💯 this hits home, and I needed to hear you say how 80/20 rule applies to our videos too. It’s a lot easier to cope with low performing videos given that context. This one seems to be doing well for you just 1 day in! And overall you are making great progress man. I would love to have a catch up chat with you in the near future 😊
I feel this is my future. Succeed or… …I have no idea… I subscribed to you btw and enjoy your content! I have a TH-cam fitness channel if you’re into a healthy lifestyle! 😊👍👍
Magdalena thank you for watching and I really appreciate the kind words. I'm trying to balance some real-talk with the regular tutorials and things I'm learning. I hope it's helpful. Best of luck to ya out there. If there's any way I can help just let me know.
Managing social media is a lot like fishing-you might go a whole day without a bite, then suddenly, the fish are biting like crazy. You never know when you’ll strike it big, but keeping that possibility in mind is what keeps you going. I recently took over a client’s social pages and have been learning a lot. Just a few days ago, one of her TikTok clips went viral, something I never expected. She gained over 200 subscribers in just 48 hours when she had barely 20 when I started. While I know most content won’t take off like that, it’s a great reminder that anything has the potential to go viral, and that keeps me motivated.
Being older and wiser puts it all in perspective for me, and I approach everything with a "progress, not perfection" attitude, and I have always been a perfectionist. However, thinking this way, I am not so competitive and not so critical about my own work. Borrowing ideas is part of life, there isnt much original thought anymore. Focus on what you are doing, checking out what others are doing is normal, but follow your path and visions. You are doing a great job and opening up with your audience is fantastic, showing your vulnerability is very relatable.
Thanks so much. I appreciate that vote of confidence. My goal is to hopefully be a real person coupled with my attempt at being a TH-cam guy in my educational videos. I hope people find value in both angles. Thanks for saying this, it's good to have your perspective.
I think we also tend to forget that even people subscribed to you have real lives and just don't refresh the page hourly to see if we've uploaded a new video. I've missed many of the people I've subscribed to and can't watch them all. If a topic doesn't grab me I may not even watch even if I like that person. Time is valuable.
We put out ourselves and our vulnerability. True I don’t expect many views at all. I’m a nobody. If I get 10 views every video, I’m happy❤️ I did some trendy topics in the past. Now, I’ll just post what I want to post. TH-cam is hard but it seems easy when it’s your passion to create videos. Hi to all small creators like me!❤️
Thanks for sharing this, and I agree it can feel different when you're doing it for the journey of self-expression without the expectation of viewership and money. I think there's a lot of folks doing it for money (myself included), and while there's nothing wrong with that, it does come with it's own set of burdons, as does making content for oneself. Thank you again for chiming in.
Great reality check my friend. It’s like learning a new sport like tennis. You pick up a tennis racket for the first time and you start really loving tennis. You get pretty good at it you think about it you get all the good equipment you practice. Then you start losing all of your matches and things don’t look as good. The early excitement turns into the reality of what it takes to be a good tennis player. The truth is that TH-cam is not really for everyone. But you don’t hear anyone ever saying that.
In fact, on this here TH-cam machine, because I am 64, I get a constant onslaught of people telling me that I "MUST START A TH-cam CHANNEL NOW!!!" I'm over 40, and I'm over 50, AND, I'm over 60. I know you are over 80, so you must see those even more often. There are videos telling me that simply posting videos will improve my life, even if no one looks at them. And maybe so. But they all just start to feel so disingenuous after the 47th person, who has only just now started their channel, is telling me how important it is for me to start a channel. Sometimes, I wonder if TH-cam is paying these people to promote the idea of making TH-cam channels. And then there is the whole survivorship bias thing, where people who are successful always think that they only succeeded because they alone know some super secret strategies. When, in reality, after one has put in the basic requirements.... almost all success is based entirely upon luck. Plus, there are just so many different audiences. I have concluded that what constitutes a "good video" is pretty darned amorphous. I, mean, we can usually spot a truly bad video. But even that may appeal to some audience. So, if there is lots of work involved, and we cannot trust whether people telling us that we "must start a channel now" have other motivations, and even the final success is based mostly on luck..... Then perhaps people should just focus on doing what they enjoy as they enjoy it. And ignore the statistics. If their only reason to be on TH-cam is to make it big, then they may be in if for the wrong reasons. Not every good neighborhood basketball player makes it to the NBA. In fact, almost none of them. But that doesn't mean they can't enjoy playing the game. Perhaps the self reflection and simply creating something... anything... is the true prize here.
Thank ya kindly Mike :D And that's a really great analogy and so accurate. And I think in spite of all the times I encourage people to start and keep going, I do agree that it's not for everyone. It does require a lot of determination and patience and a way to detach oneself from the highs and lows. Most people don't like rollercoasters :D
@@GrantSR hey Grant, nice to see you over here and watching Ty‘s videos. I think you pretty much nailed it, my friend. I think your channel is a good example of someone who has a passion who wants to share something and really doesn’t care about all of the other kinds of stuff that people get into. Have a great day.😊
@@OldMeLiving I actually learned about you from the interview you did with Ty. Both of you have good advice. But I also know that I kinda have to go my own way because my goals are so different from the norm.
The lackluster response to my videos are what drive me to move forward, improve, and keep creating. The few videos that have popped off for me, are the ones that have made me question my path forward. Great video!
Ty you are digging deep and being a voice of reason and wisdom. You are holding up a mirror in which we see ourselves reflected. Value beyond measure my friend. I so much appreciate you putting it out there and sharing this with all of us. We are here, we are listening and watching. We support and encourage you, and above all express gratitude.
Thank you Rowan, this means so much, thanks for the words of encouragement. I hope it's helpful to those needing to hear it. I suspect I'm not the only one thinking these things lol :D
I started uploading to hold myself accountable to go outside and walk, get some exercise. No biggy, just a channel of uploads for myself to look back on and maybe someone discovers it and benefits from it. But I invested in better audio because I hated the first few video's had bad audio. Just used the better audio in the most recent short. Watching the stats is addictive, completely agree on that!
That's an amazing hobby to pick up as you get outside, and especially so if you have low expectations and are doing it for legacy reasons. I applaud this and I hope you stick with it for a long time :D Thank you for sharing.
I just did a channel pivot and decided that this time around, TH-cam is going to be a creative outlet and record of life lessons for my littles to have as they grow up. Getting monetized will be great whenever it happens but for now, I'm just documenting my journey back to health. I fell into the trap before of being super invested in video performance which inevitably led to burnout. I'm not trying to repeat past mistakes this time around. Also, the copycat strategy is weird to me because it doesn't feel authentic but I can see why people do it to try and fast track to perceived success.
Yeah exactly, it definitely seems like a bit of a shortcut. But I'm glad you're now finding a healthier relationship with your channel and mission/purpose. That's so important to have. I appreciate you chiming in :D
They give that advice because they don’t really know what led to their success. Or they don’t realize there is more than one path to success on TH-cam.
I think there's a lot of that going on, and with AI I wonder if it will get worse or more diluted. But maybe viewers will catch on and there will be some kind of revolt sort of like we're seeing now with the return to authentic content.
@@NateTheTH-camProducer I think that could be part of it yes. I think it could also be they've stolen titles and got great results and got away with it.
Another great video from you! Except for the copying the titles from others and haters, I know all of them. It is very important to stay true to ourselves, I am really taking that very seriously and am not ready to sell myself out. Keeping a good balance is challenging, because it requires a lot of time, specifically at the beginning, when everything takes a lot of time. Having a good and self intentional start in the morning, like in all other busy jobs can help.
Thank you Rose, I appreciate you watching and leaving your thoughts. It's tough to keep balance, to stay true to ourselves and not sell out, and to contrast that against the allure of trending videos. Thanks for sharing :D
Great video! I was actually checking my stats as you got to that part….lol. It’s so easy to be sucked in for that dopamine boost, but it’s a good reminder to stay grounded. Thanks for that!
Great video. Valuable advice. Doing this is just like starting a business (for me) or anything new. Your emotions do play with you. Here is the important thing: commit to doing the work. Just put your head down and do the work. You can feel down, you can feel high, you can feel defeated, you can feel inspired. Through all those ups and down, if you just put your head down and do the work, you will see results. You will see yourself getting better at it. Luck rewards those who have put themselves in a position to receive it. Just think of a job you hated once. You still showed up to get that paycheck. Even if it was a crappy paycheck. lol. Except now it’s something you want to do, something you enjoy doing. Keep posting! 👍
This is probably the best advice I've seen for any new TH-camr. So on point and salient, thank you so much for sharing. And you're right, it's not just TH-cam, it's anything we do, any small business. It takes repeated effort, and pushing through the lows and not letting the highs give us a false sense of security. Thanks again, this hits for me hah :D
Ive always loved talking about God, doing it on TH-cam without being watched so much is the same that happens even out in tge street when i evangelise. So i won't stop. Even when i stop ill start again. Thank you for being real.
Thanks for your video! Love the 80/20 way of looking at the data. I get what you are saying about the emotional let down with the views but at the end of the day, it is just an algorithm. A set of digital rules programed in a particular way. Our 'challenge' as creators is to give the system the right info to find 'our' audience (your YT people). We are new to this as well and agree about the 'time' spent on learning/creating/filming/editing/learning some more just to get started. We are going to set digital 'boundaries' so we have entire days without YT! This will probably result in a binge the following day 🤣 And thank you for suggesting to catch up with other TH-camrs! Have been thinking of doing that for a while now but needed a kick to start reaching out! 😊❤️🦄 The trashing a'holes! Don't worry about them, that is a reflection on who 'they' are, not you! Your doing a great job 🤩 ❤ from Australia 🇦🇺 😉
Hey thanks! Glad you got to watch and thanks so much for sharing. I'm not worried about anyone in the comments. I'd question anyone who'd have something negative to say about anyone trying to help others understand this platform. Good luck to ya this year, I wish you all the success you're looking for 🙏
Congratulations on the 3k subs Ty! Re: attention. I also feel guilty of that with my two toddlers. Sometimes I feel like I’m not paying them the attention that they need, ‘coz; I have to make things with my hands to sell, I have to do chores; I have to market my products; and to add to that, I recently began posting on soc med and YT (with literally just a phone. No more tablet or laptop). But I think to myself, how many parents out there opt to leave their toddlers in the nursery or pay a baby sitter in order for them to work for others? Though it is hard, I still feel blessed being able to care for my kids by myself. I just have to manage my time better to get things done. Perhaps like editing contents while on the hammock trying to get my young one to get his nap? 😅 Though it’s slow, I feel blessed that I’m growing my channel organically. Yes, I can relate to that feeling of elation whenever you get good numbers in your views. But I also am training myself to be cool with it if another video only gets 2 views. 😅 That being said, I delete my YT studio app whenever I’m done batch uploading for a week. So that I won’t get tempted to check it every time. 🤭 Oh this is a novel again of a comment again. But, as always, thank you for being true. You are inspiring us. I can imagine you getting a Gold YT plate. I pray when that time comes, you’re still the Ty that we can relate to. God bless.
Thank you. It takes a big person to acknowledge when things in our personal lives might be slipping or neglected. It's not a topic people actively bring up or seek to gain counsel on, but it's real and we all deal with it in our own ways. I appreciate you being so open and vulnerable, and I hope in some way thinking through this and sharing is helpful. I appreciate you watching 🙏
New creator here and yes, have felt some of these things already. My feelings change from day to day lol....from wanting to make videos for the sole purpose of helping others without worrying about #'s... to comparing myself to others and their channels. I will have to make a conscious effort to not get caught up in the analytics, but just share from my heart in hopes of helping someone. Thanks for sharing! 😊
I love all of this. This is more or less how I'm trying to view things too. I had the added pressure of wanting (needing) this to be my full-time income but I'm willing to bet on doing it the right way. I appreciate you watching 🙏
Haha, I'm not going to trash you... that was a great video😁. I'm on my own, which somehow makes it easier in the sense of not having 'someone' to worry about, but at the same time, there is no one I can share my challenges, etc. with. Keep it up, you are doing well😉
I’ve definitely I’m going through a moment of reflection in my TH-cam journey and come to terms with the fact that I truly just wanna try to be authentic going forward and those who like me would like me and those who don’t there are millions of other creators on here that they can follow.
So far in my niche out of the thousands of comments, i've only had 2 negative. Both werre pretty funny but I like to chirp back :) Great video, there were times like I felt i was right beside you chit chatting on that patio. Keep going, our sub levels are still pretty equal, but you're about to explode!!!
I agree that it is icky to copy another person's title, especially if it is in the same niche. A big TH-camr recently did that - copied a title from a smaller TH-camr in the same niche, and recommended that strategy to others. It does work, and it will probably keep my channel down, but I don't like doing it.
I hear ya Shelina, I'm still mixed up about it. I suppose if it feels too blatant and like viewers will easily see that I took a competitor of mine's title, I don't want my potential audience to think I'm just copying others for views. That doesn't sit well with me.
Interesting and resonating topic! As a newby on YT with a (very) small channel, I can totally relate to sooo many things of what you have been talking about! The isolation and being all drawn-in when making a video (since I'm new, I've still got a lot to learn and it takes me a looooong time to compose only 1 new video!). Once published, the urge to check the analytics about 10 times a day! The risk of losing our self-worth when our content is not performing well....The self-doubt....Comparing ourselves with other - way more popular - TH-camrs out there. Maybe asking ourselves if it is still worth the time investment. It is all VERY recognizable. But then again, I'm only doing it as a HOBBY. I have become very interested in video-editing and I have always enjoyed learning new skills. And even though my videos are not great and I always doubt if they are actually worth while sharing with the world....there's no point in me making these videos if I don't even dare to publish them...right? For me, my channel is just another way to express myself, to have fun and to share the content that I really care about. Hoping to attract & inspire others who are interested in the same topic(s). (even if these are not overly popular & are not likely to get a lot of views). I do believe that authenticity is often key to grow (although it is definitely - and sadly - not always the case!). In my opinion staying true to yourself is what matters the most in the end. Even though my videos are not performing well, I'm trying to remind myself of the joy I've had while making/editing/composing them...after all, my aim is definitely not to grow fast or earn some money with it. I guess all of the above is put into a different light when your goal is to make a living out of it! It is all about finding a good balance and trying to keep in mind why you started making videos in the first place. I could sense some genuine and honest emotions, so I suppose this topic really matters to you! I hope your channel will evolve in the way you had in mind and that you will continue to enjoy the process! Thanks for having shared it all with us!❤ It is good to know that I'm not the only one out there 'struggling' at times and having mixed feelings about my channel 😉
oh my gosh, thank you sharing so much! there's so much to say but I think the most important I can tell you is that you're. not alone and there's countless thousands of people on TH-cam probably going through it in their own way, trying to make sense of it, trying to connect, trying to find value and purpose and meaning and validation from others because it's so hard to feel good about what we have or what we are when so much of what we don't have or what we aren't is flashed in our faces every minute of every day. Keep being you, and keep learning, and keep finding your voice and trying to make a difference in the lives of others. That's the best we can do, I'm convinced, and coupled with hard work and never giving up, there are steps to take and miles to walk but the destination is always within reach. I appreciate so much for sharing 🙏
Ty, I just wanted to take a minute to be the counter comment to any of those unfounded negative ones that you might encounter while reading this one. I recently found your channel, and subscribed because you are relatable and you offer valuable information. Without you, I wouldn’t have learned about Wayne, and I wouldn’t have learned any of the numerous details about starting a new channel you generously share with everyone, which makes you one of my favorite creators. Wishing you well.
Thank you! That means a lot, thanks for saying this. Wayne is amazing. I hope to be like him one day haha. I surprisingly haven't found much hate comments on this video but I'm sure they'll creep up.
This came up in my feed, and happy it did, and gave it a listen, this is good information, and encouraging for others, I think it even affects older small channels just as much as new, so you are not alone, its a good reminder to stay grounded and have fun. I never got into the refresh syndrome thankfully, but I do think that it would be nice if there were more mentions of other creators that inspired a video that you end up posting but that is hard to change as we have so much media its hard not to repeat a topic. Its a lot of hard work, but keep going, you have done amazing for a short time and this was helpful reminder not to take it personally and you spoke very well about it.
Well thanks for saying all of this. I'm glad this video found you :D Glad you never got sucked into the analytics. I thought I might be the only one but it sounds like a lot of other folks check it often as well. Giving credit would be nice, but that often leads to reduced retention or a general unawareness from the originating creator so it tends to not be beneficial. But thanks for chiming in and adding to this conversation, 🙏
Yes, you are right. I tried TH-cam 6 times and failed, got so demotivated. I am trying again 60 subs over two weeks and I am grateful and trying to be consistent.
Love your Candor Ty. I think it first comes down to : Hobbyist TH-camr vs TH-camr for Pay. Currently I'm a Hobbyist. TH-cam became my hobby that i desperately needed. I agree with emotional intelligence, early on i got some vicious comments. I learned to delete them and not respond, or even think about them again. I give 💓to all comments, most are subscribers. if a comment is negative, i just leave it alone, if it was held it gets deleted, generally user is hidden from channel. If I was depending on the revenue for vids, I would quit. I make evergreen videos , for folks to enjoy in perpetuity, and possibly for my family to look at when im long gone. I have to say i had to reel back my upload schedule to about every 2 weeks.
Thanks so much for sharing. I 100000000% agree about the hobbyist vs youtube for pay. I think that's such an important distinction that is often breezed past in these types of conversations ((I'm guilty of this). So many people on TH-cam create for the joy of creating, the legacy, the harmony with the craft, and for those folks my ramblings about the pressures of performing might not make a lot of sense. For the many others looking to make money or build a business or do it full time, I think it's more relatable. But perhaps most can agree it's a big time commitment and perhaps when asking for the time and attention of strangers on the internet, it should be. But thank you again for watching and contributing 🙏
@Ty_Myers that is why I keep working on it. Idk where it will take me.. but I do enjoy it and if it leads me to insanity... hey lol I had fun while it lasted 😆
As you know, I’m very much an introvert. I have one or two close friends who live nearby but we rarely see or talk to each other. My circle of friends have become some great people (like yourself) who are supportive of the journey I’m on. My daughter recently started a YT channel and we talk YT about 90% if the time. We support each other. The one thing about YT that irritates me are those videos that often end up feeling more like click bait.
I'm so jealous that you have somebody to talk YT too so much :D I love to hear that. I think it's important to have. I agree about the clickbait videos. I struggle sometimes with wanting to use language in a title, but if it feels too clickbaity I'll pull it out. Same with thumbnail captions. Sometimes TH-cam growth seems like you almost have to lie to grow. I don't like that.
Thanks for sharing this. I think what you said resonates with a lot of creators. I agree about finding a community. It helps a lot. I also try to cultivate a lot of patience, understanding it’s a long-run game and letting go of expectations. Keep creating. 👍
Fairly new to your channel, this is a great topic and I can relate to so much of what you say in it especially with getting so wrapped up in youtube I put "real" life on the back burner. Important to create a balance, still trying to figure that out lol.
I'm glad this video popped up for you and I'm also still working through the balance. You and me both. Thanks for watching and adding to the conversation. I hope it was useful to ya :D
I literally today after posting my 3rd video on a new channel I just started went for a walk and recorded this same conversation as an idea to speak about. Because I do find myself thinking about how do I stay detached from the outcome of the numbers after pouring all of my energy and heart and creativity and time into creating something. I am on a very clear mission to document my journey to 100,000 subscribers in 12 months and that big ambitious goal is doable I know it is, yet I get to pay particular attention to not losing myself in my numbers and just keep improving each and every upload. For me "stealing" isn't at all something I struggle with nothing is original NOTHING everything is built on iterations of other previous things that how humans make progress, Im not going to outright plagiarize someone's work but something like a title or thumbnail idea I have no issue with stealing like an artist. I have zero guilt when it comes to being inspired by someone else's creation that they were inspired by many other creations where they borrowed the concepts and ideas. We are the chefs cooking with our own unique flavor, spices, and experiences but are we feeling guilty that we used the basic same ingredients to make a pizza? Who's the inventor of the Pizza do we even know their name? AI is changing even the concepts of plagiarism and intellectual property, Are you really stealing someone's idea if it was generated by collaboration between them and a large language model? That being said this is a great video AND I am still going to eventually make a very similar video, it was my own original thoughts and feelings but they were not unique to me, I didn't see this video or any other one like it... but I was inspired to speak on the same thing. For me if someone wants to copy me, I just take it as flattery that I curated something dope enough to be copied, I think that is the way I choose to see this in this specific context.
Well thanks so much for sharing and I'd love to see when you post your thoughts on these topics. And I appreciate your perspective too, it's good to hear all sides and take in all the input. I'm still mixed up on it and I think there's some truth and validity from both sides, although it seems to me most people fit in your camp where it's understood that ideas and titles will be taken and re-used. I wish you all the best on your route to 100k subs! That's a big mountain to climb, let me know if I can be helpful in any way!
@@Ty_MyersOne of my favorite creators did a video a few months ago on our conversation, kind of about artists being thieves. This guy is totally an artist with everything he does. th-cam.com/video/1w-lVLpIdd8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O59XIph9T_fEfYFl
Whoa what a beautiful sky Ty 🙂 Those clouds behind you are cool too 😎 I reckon you need to get a motorbike mate so you can go and cruise around in those mountains 🏍️
Haha, I would definitely not make it up or down the mountains on a motorbike :D Thanks Mark for watching sir, I hope you are well and enjoying the summer!
TH-cam is full of competitions. Even we copy, or reused othe creators title is depend on our own version of perspective. How we deliver it. Sometimes i got hooked with some others *how youtube paid me* thumbnail plus the charm of the creator. Thats a plus. But since this is a Business, there's always be a competition. Keep doing it. You channel is unique in own way. New sub here!❤🎉
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the reminder. I’m new to the whole content creation on TH-cam especially with talking head videos and vo. I’ve been studying TH-camrs and their strategies etc and trying my best to get comfortable being uncomfortable, learning how to be myself on camera and talking on camera. It’s a lot of work and I know that because it’s taken me 3+ weeks now since I’ve been practicing the same intro lines over and over again lol now I’m more confident going through the structure of my scripts. It’s taken me this long to no my structure for my videos after 3wks of practicing. Anyway I was on a roll yesterday until my my mic busted out on me lol so I’m looking at getting a new mic either today or I have to order in and wait. That gives me time to practice so more lol it’s fun though. Been a heck of a ride though lol But you’re right, I can get caught up with analytics but this year I’m I’m doing a detox from Ig and Tt and now shorts lol so it’s been really good for my mental health. Anyway looking forward to your next videos. I always appreciate what you share. Have a great day. Hi from New Zealand. - Marie
Hi Marie, thanks for watching and I appreciate you sharing and being vulnerable. It's not easy doing this TH-cam thing! Good on ya for getting started though. And good on you for doing a detox on short-form. Have a great weekend!
@ Thanks Ty, it’s definitely not a walk in the park that’s for sure but I’ve been enjoying this journey. It’s transformative and encouraging. I’m eager to see what happens next. Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend as well.
I totally relate with you and I am guilty of doing the things you say. I actually made an exact video “stolen” from a bigger creator to test how it would do for my channel 🙃
@ for the moment it is 1 of 10 compared to the rest of my videos.but we will have to see in the future. Still got to give credit to Collin for the video.
Good video. TH-cam is definitely not good for my already low self esteem. I agree it is time consuming and like every thing else I try, I don’t have the talent for this. I wish my life didn’t feel so much like a social desert in other words I am here because I am lonely.
You know I'm not sure how I came across you but you came across my feed and I have to say of many of the people out there preaching people should be on TH-cam you speak a lot of the truths that new creators need to hear. When I create videos I don't create it for any other than myself and will never try to be trendy or fit in and just do what I want. If I get a lot of views great.. if I get low views no big deal because I realize that I'm not creating content that works for everyone and is in a niche environment. So because of all that I don't take anything personal when views are good or bad. For the point about isolation this is a hard one for everyone especially when you see how many creators can be jiving together and working together and hanging out together. Where I live I know there is at least a dozen other creators in the same type of content world I am but its so closed off that none of us do much and it would be nice to be able to talk to others who share the same interest and feed off each other. TH-cam can be good. TH-cam can be bad. At the end of the day do it for you and have a realistic goal in mind and don't be too hard on yourself if does good or bad.
Thank you for saying all of this, this is such a great and refreshing perspective. It's really good that you're able to detach your own self-worth from the views you get. I think a lot of people can't do that, especially the folks who are agreesively trying to grow their channels and who might want to make money from it. But there are probably a lot of people in your camp too, who do it mostly for fun and the enjoyment of creating. I think that's a special thing. That's also too bad folks near you don't want to collaborate. I don't know anyone near me doing TH-cam sadly, so I have to resort to just internet friends :D Thanks again for sharing.
Excellent video. Thank you for always keeping it real. We haven't done our first video yet (next week we start). But, I've learned from you and @OldMeLiving that it is NOT an easy process. On the subject of stealing content, let's face it, there are not a lot of totally original ideas out there. But, there is a huge difference between taking a topic, theme, or subject and doing something with it from your own point of view for your audience and outright copying everything about it and putting it out there as your own idea. The first is called creative license, and the second is called plagiarism and it is more than just icky, it's sleazy.
I'm excited for you to start! Lots to learn but honestly it's such a great journey to be on. And I agree, there's such a fine line between doing things from a place of service vs doing things selfishly. And I think for each creator, and each viewer interpreting, that line might look different.
Yes absolutely. As a brand-new creator, I have racked my brain trying to figure out how to get views. I even put together a small home studio, but I feel a lot more natural speaking outside with my GoPro. I will use the studio for some things, but I think, as I am attempting to gain subscribers, I should keep it raw and authentic with the GoPro approach.
Hey Ken, thanks for sharing sir. I agree about the authenticity piece. I think people really crave that and want to hear from real people. Best of luck to ya as you get started up again :D
It depends on what your goals are for your channel. There is so much confusion because some advice only applies to Goal A, but damaging to Goal B. Other advice is helpful for Goal B, but hinders Goal A. When blanket advice is given it can be confusing.
I totally get everything you’re saying here! I saw another TH-camr say that the Studio app is like crack! 😂 I check it and then make myself delete it because checking it too much becomes somewhat habitual like you said. It’s pretty easy to delete and reinstall later when you know you need a break. I still feel that the overall effect of being on TH-cam for me has been positive, but I do think that everyone doing this seriously should have a therapist or at least a close family member with whom they can talk about the more challenging aspects.
Haha it is like crack! I deleted too a few days ago and going strong :D But of course I work of my laptop a lot so I can easily check there. I'm in the same boat as you, this whole thing has been overwhelmingly positive but I think it's helpful to reflect on some common struggles and be observant that there are things that pull at us and can lead to unhealthy views of ourselves and you are so right about needing to have somebody to talk shop with.
You're definitely speaking to me because I just made a video about my video not performing!! The weird thing is, I never been concerned with how my vlogs performed, but that 1 video annoyed the hell outta me because it only got 48 views!! I just don't understand it, but it's been 2 weeks (I think) and I'm over it lol!! I appreciate you putting this vid out💯🫡
I think that could be a great challenge for most of us - new creators - don’t check TH-cam studio for 24h 😮😂 Not sure I would be able to do it 😅 The feelings of loneliness is true, only other creator can understand that .
Few views over a long time period is very demotivating. The loneliness aspect is a serious matter. Reminds me a lot of when I was unemployed for ten months. I had no income and going to a shop was useless to do. I ended up just being at home on my own.
I dodged the self-worth angle related to views when I learned that TH-cam doesn't track us as creators, TH-cam tracks viewers and their behavior on the platform. Our videos are fodder for the TH-cam algorithm based upon what viewers want rather than what we want to create. Sometimes I think the platform should be called "ThemTube", rather that TH-cam, because its really not about us.
That is such a great point you make and a great tip for how to detach ourselves. You are right, it's all about viewers and what the algorithm says about their viewer profile and preferences and behaviors and that's what determines which videos they'll get served. So "ThemYube" or "ViewerTube" is very fitting hah. Thanks for chiming in Randy 🙏
I don’t think that swiping ideas and putting your own twist on it matters AT ALL. This is the most normal thing in any creative space. If you type in… “How to paint a watercolor rose” and watch one video…you’re gonna see another one with the same title just below it. And what about pre-internet? Family photographers were all offering the same basic thing. Even today they do. And guess where they get all their ideas in “unique” ways to do it? Pinterest. So nothing original exists. So just be 100% cool with it.
Thanks for sharing Grim. I do agree about borrowing topic ideas and adding to the conversation in that way. I think what was I mostly referring to is flat out copying other people's titles word for word and making your version of that video only days after the original viral video that went up started to take off.
Even the Bible says there's nothing new under the sun. I made my video about New Year's Resolutions back at the end of November. By the time it was released (Mid January) Everyone (and their uncle) had posted the same thing. I debated not publishing, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Although-- if I see one more easy mode video show up in my feed...😂
Dang I just made a video today talking about this being 31 days in as a TH-camr. I only have 200 subscribers. I guess I’m just realistic and I went in knowing there are millions of people on here and I’m just starting. I’ve had a lot of great takeaways so far and it’s helping me with my own career, so that’s a big win. Keep up the great content.
I hate talking to the camera, it feels so awkward. Hopefully, time will develop that for me. One thing I've learned about myself is I can currently express a character through acting behind a mask way beyond being myself. So maybe I can harness that skill when it's just me & the camera.
It still feels awkward for me too, some 50 videos later, but it does get easier and more relaxed in time. It just takes practice and repetition and also being comfortable with the subject matter. And there's definitely something to be said about being in costume/mask/character that can make things easier.
That deep focus you talk about I think is adhd. I’ve never been diagnosed but looked into and that is one of the traits. I can definitely relate. You get sucked into this and then think wait man I need to take a step back 😆
Great video, Ty. Although I don't entirely agree with you. I've wanted to put my face on TH-cam for a number of years. I had my subject idea and a niche, but I didn't know or have a format to use. I just didn't know how to do it. I thought I was too old, bald, and my nose was too big. You know what I mean :) Then one day I was scrolling TH-cam and by chance found a guy, my age, with a bigger nose than me, who was doing exactly what I wanted to do. He became my hero! I'm a big fan of Pablo Picasso's famous saying, "Good artists copy, great artists steal." I started my channel and copied as much as possible-his style, his jokes, his thumbnails, his titles-everything that was possible to copy, I copied. I started a few months ago. Now my channel seems to have gone viral, thousands of views and more than enough subs to be monetized. It all happened in the last week! I still follow my hero, but I've stopped copying him. Over the past few videos I've made, I seem to have developed my own style. Even my titles and thumbnails are me, rather than him. I now look at my hero's style of doing things and turn up my nose. So I say to everyone, find yourself a hero and just copy them until your own style creeps in. Cheers.
Oh wow thanks for sharing this. I think it's a great example to follow, copy, emulate, borrow until you learn your own style and become unique. What I find hard to understand is the people who are already well established, who will just blatantly steal a title word for word just because it has gone viral. I think that's the issue I'm confronting, but I do appreciate you chiming in! 🙏
That is such a loaded question. I think it's different for everyone. Success for me early on was just posting 1 video (because i was so scared to do it and procrastinated for so long). Then it became get to 100 subs, then 1000, then get a client, then motivation. The goal-posts keep moving with every little success. But those are all external in a way. Internally, when I feel I'm putting in a good days work, taking action and getting things done, learning something new, having a breakthrough, etc, that's when I feel like I'm "succeeding". How do you measure it?
Interest media is very difficult. If it isn't popular, it's muted. Attention is the hottest commodity on the Internet. Too many creators are working for free feeding these machines. This is the matrix.
It takes an incredible amount of time and effort to make videos and when the views are awful it's like why the heck am I doing this??? I don't understand why we al have x number of subscribers but we only get y number of views. It's been really draining but if you ever want to make it you can't stop! I also feel that at least in the garden niche viewers are harsher than in my other niche which is hiking. In gardening you obviously aren't doing anything in winter but you are expected to still come up with ridiculous amounts of content or people unsubscribe. I refuse to put out content just for the sake of it.
Thanks for sharing, that's an interesting observation. I tend to think Subscribers is a vanity metric and not worth paying much attention too because you're right, it doesn't reflect how many people actually watch your videos. It's like 20-40% of subs watch at most.
recently paying more attention to my channel… learning more about youtube…I think people take it too seriously sometimes… Im doing my channel for myself… the audience is last for me… if i get no views i dont care… if i get 1 view, cool 🤘Im just having fun with it
That's such a great way to look at it :D I think everyone has different reasons for doing it, different goals, and some people, like me, are doing it to make it their full-time income. So there's different takes and stressors that we all feel based on what we want from it, but I applaud those out there who are doing it for themselves as a hobby and outlet.🙏
Hello Ty, I think taking some one’s tittle is not good but the topic is ok with your own twist. I don’t like people tuning others out. I like seeing the fire works in my analytics. I find comments kind hopefully yours are too. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
Creating videos about something recent that happens or news or a new trend is often covered by many creators. I see a lot of creators all suddenly making videos about the same topics. Unfortunately those videos also age quickly.
Thank You For The Wisdom Sir, I'm currently suffering from some of the key points you mention in your video, as an aspiring creator. Your content reached me on my home page, Phenomenal Video. 💌🤟
aww thanks, glad it found you and I appreciate you sharing and being vulnerable. I'm just glad to know there's a lot of us out there all going through it.
You are 95% right, but that 5% which is not right is because you have not been around enough to know that not growing not only relies on being around for a short time. It is even, much, much worse when your 16 years old channel that has over 500.000 subscribers doesn't work. Even though you upload quality videos every Saturday and you share all your knowledge that should be interesting for thousands of people, but TH-cam doesn't offer it to them, even though there should be over half a million that showed interest in them by subscribing... it only shows it to few hundreds of subscribers. I have some good old YT friends in the same situation, is like youtube wants to demoralize old channels from uploading more content. Think about it, i guess TH-cam has a tend to not help old channels... and it is so frustrating and sad giving it your all for 16 years, and about 500 videos that take me about three days each, offering good value content and seeing how each new video you upload not only makes you lose subscribers, but also takes about a week to reach only 1.000 views...if it does. I am devastated, I will have to open a new channel and give it a try and start all over again or leave TH-cam, and say goodbye to my dear old channel, I think I can't take it anymore like this . Besides, because of my experience, I think I offer better videos now than ever before, shorter, denser, better quality image, better content but now my channel is only getting 190 subscribers a month. TH-cam can be a bad self-esteem killer, a serial one, in fact, I know some other people having same problem.
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience. You are right, it's only been 6 months for me so thank you lending your expertise. And I'm sorry you are stuck with your channel. I wish I had more experience with this to help you with but I'm hopeful you find a good answer or new venture to delve into. Thanks again for adding to this conversation.🙏
@@Ty_Myers A good answer could be "Change what you do, you cannot expect better results doing the same"... but that is not true, if I change the way I do the videos, if I change the duration, if I change the type of drawing, the type of materials, doesn't matter... the only thing could make a change would be changing my topic (which I already changed twice in these 16 years) but then it could also be a suicide. I think the better option is open a new channel and continue with the old one till the new one can monetize, the new one could be completely different and start from fresh
Relatable experience for Creators 😔 But it's okay, my kind of person is very resilient. About the topic, we are ask to follow trending topics but i refuse. I love storytelling and i am happy with my unpopular niche. Even if i make just a single person laugh, i am glad. Cheers 🥂
When I started following Alexa Saarenoja I learned about trend hopping. I never knew or did it and so I tried with one video and it worked. I got more views than typical. But I also felt a little off by that. I did try it for my other channel but it didn't get more views than typical. I think for me being consistent and focussing on creating more clickable headlines seems to work. I was getting around 300-500 views and now I consistently get 1k+ views. It takes time though and happy to see the growth you're achieving Ty!
100% Elna, I also learned that from Alexa too many months back. I also tried my hand at jumping on a trending topic and it didn't go anywhere, but I didn't exactly copy a title word for word. In many cases I think it's the topic and title combo that create the viral nature of a trending video. It's hard not want to jump on it ourselves but I feel so icky doing so if it's within my niche. Thanks for your input though, much appreciated :D
"Stealing" in art has been going on since the first cave paintings study, credit, remix, mash up and transform. Creative work comes from what came before, nothing is completely original. 😉
If everyone could just flip on a camera, say whatever they wanted, and become a success...... everyone would do it and it wouldn't be a thing. The fact that so many try and fail is the ONLY reason others can become successful. Let that sink in..... Love that so many fail because it means if YOU keep going and YOU create better content, you'll come out a winner. Most fail because they just quit.
This Jersey boy here agrees with you. You can't ail until you quit and like you said, most do. And the more people that jump on, the more competitive it gets.
Yes, it can be disheartening sometimes.I finally reached 400, next day, lost 13 subs. How is that even possible?? Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth the time and effort... I can relate to what you said, immersing yourself and feeling disconnected with others around you... we need a balance!
I agree, and it's tough! I'm sorry about the lost subs, that's happened to me before as well, I lost a lot of views a few months back, I was stretching my head but I read that TH-cam routinely scrubs out bots and fake accounts and their views. 🙄 I still think it's worth it though, even when it's slow because you just never know when things change. Give this a watch and let me know what you think - th-cam.com/video/EEQfxm6xTZk/w-d-xo.html
Have you felt any of these as newer creators on TH-cam?
Succeed or…
…I have no idea…
I subscribed to you btw and enjoy your content!
I have a TH-cam fitness channel if you’re into a healthy lifestyle! 😊👍👍
I think this is the most authentic "youtube creator" video I have seen. ❤
I concur
Ty, keeping it authentic is keeping it real, and I admire your courage to so just that. Look forward to more of your videos.
That's wisdom right there 🎉
I think we also tend to forget that even people subscribed to you have real lives and just don't refresh the page hourly to see if we've uploaded a new video. I've missed many of the people I've subscribed to and can't watch them all. If a topic doesn't grab me I may not even watch even if I like that person. Time is valuable.
Yeah exactly, I have that same problem lol, too many videos and not enough time to watch them all.
Interesting...yet true.
Stay yourself, authenticity is more valueable then you think! You all got this, enjoy the YT game!
Yes!!
Enjoy...what else???
There is nothing worse than trying to make a new video when your last video didn't meet expectations. It's a roller-coaster 💯
It's definitely a very bumpy roller-coaster haha, thanks for being here Dave :D
That's me...
Am listening...
You are not committing title theft. You are being inspired by others and adding your voice for your viewers benefit. Thank you!
🙏
We put out ourselves and our vulnerability. True
I don’t expect many views at all. I’m a nobody. If I get 10 views every video, I’m happy❤️
I did some trendy topics in the past.
Two of us mam
Have a great day.😊
@@GrantSRGood insight.
I was literally just in tears feeling awful about similar stuff.… and then I see your video!!!!! Its a sign!!!!
I hope it was helpful! Thanks for watching :D
Mmmhhh...
That's it ..
Yep getting outside and exercise when you’re creating creating creating is the best solution and gift you can give yourself 💖
That's an amazing hobby to pick up as you get outside, and especially so if you have low expectations and are doing it for legacy reasons. I applaud this and I hope you stick with it for a long time :D Thank you for sharing.
@@TH-camOver40 Right? I love it.
Mmmhhh...
@neveragetv ? 🍀?
Some people literally tell you to copy what they're doing and my concern is that TH-cam will just turn into a big echo chamber
@@Ty_Myers Couldn't agree more. Thanks Ty. Appreciate it.
Bro!!!! You’re awesome!!!! Great advice, regardless of channel size.
Thanks sir, I appreciate the kind words. Congrats on all your progress btw :D
@ 👍👍👍
Great video! I was actually checking my stats as you got to that part….lol. It’s so easy to be sucked in for that dopamine boost, but it’s a good reminder to stay grounded. Thanks for that!
Hah, I thought I was the only one there for a minute :D
Valuable it is...
Ive always loved talking about God, doing it on TH-cam without being watched so much is the same that happens even out in tge street when i evangelise.
So i won't stop. Even when i stop ill start again. Thank you for being real.
I just subbed to your channel 😊
@LightbringerASMR oh so nice of you. Right back at you. Thank you so much
Ok thanks for watching!
Fantastic
I so agree with your comments on TH-cam and how creating and posting content can affect our personal lives. Good to hear your take on it! Thanks!
Thanks! Glad you got to watch, I appreciate you sharing.
You are 100% correct people around us don't understand how we feel as small content creators. Great video
🙏
Thanks for your video!
Love the 80/20 way of looking at the data. I get what you are saying about the emotional let down with the views but at the end of the day, it is just an algorithm. A set of digital rules programed in a particular way. Our 'challenge' as creators is to give the system the right info to find 'our' audience (your YT people).
We are new to this as well and agree about the 'time' spent on learning/creating/filming/editing/learning some more just to get started. We are going to set digital 'boundaries' so we have entire days without YT! This will probably result in a binge the following day 🤣
And thank you for suggesting to catch up with other TH-camrs! Have been thinking of doing that for a while now but needed a kick to start reaching out! 😊❤️🦄
The trashing a'holes! Don't worry about them, that is a reflection on who 'they' are, not you! Your doing a great job 🤩
❤ from Australia 🇦🇺 😉
Hey thanks! Glad you got to watch and thanks so much for sharing. I'm not worried about anyone in the comments. I'd question anyone who'd have something negative to say about anyone trying to help others understand this platform. Good luck to ya this year, I wish you all the success you're looking for 🙏
Authentic video. Hope all works out for everybody and enjoy life!
Thanks so much!
Though it’s slow, I feel blessed that I’m growing my channel organically.
Oh this is a novel again of a comment again.
@@Ty_Myers I think that's the best way to approach it. Less pressure and stress and just do it for the joy in helping others!
Very good advice. Those growth videos are everywhere! I appreciate the realness.
Great video, Ty! As I say… TH-cam is a beast.
Comes with a huge territory.
I’m in 💪
100%, thanks for watching Anna 🙏
Mmmhhh...
Haha, I'm not going to trash you... that was a great video😁. I'm on my own, which somehow makes it easier in the sense of not having 'someone' to worry about, but at the same time, there is no one I can share my challenges, etc. with.
Keep it up, you are doing well😉
On my own too...
@neveragetv Yes, it's a choice we make😁 All the best.
Thank you sir! Even people who are with people often don't have a way of sharing their challenges. But I totally feel you. Thanks for chiming in 🙏
@Ty_Myers "Ma'am" Dear Sir😉😂
I’ve definitely I’m going through a moment of reflection in my TH-cam journey and come to terms with the fact that I truly just wanna try to be authentic going forward and those who like me would like me and those who don’t there are millions of other creators on here that they can follow.
That's such a noble way of looking at TH-cam. I wish you all the best and thanks for adding to this conversation.
Thanks sir, I appreciate you watching and all your support over these last many months! Good to see your name 🙏
Thank you for this! Every point you make resonated with me. ❤
🙏 I'm glad you found it useful!
@Ty_Myers Thank you for tips in response, if you get chance, what is your take on shout outs?
Yes, you are right. I tried TH-cam 6 times and failed, got so demotivated. I am trying again 60 subs over two weeks and I am grateful and trying to be consistent.
So grateful for you ever present authentic self
aww thanks! And I'm grateful for you being here helping me stay on course! 🙏
Some great points Ty and I resonated with what you are talking about.
Thank you for sharing your valuable thoughts.
🙏 thank you for watching
The one I relate to most is isolation. I work my real job almost 60 hours per week. Then I work on my channel. I tune out A LOT .
oh wow that's a lot, i can't imagine. I hope you all the best with your channel and it can replace your 60 hour job eventually.
@Ty_Myers that is why I keep working on it. Idk where it will take me.. but I do enjoy it and if it leads me to insanity... hey lol I had fun while it lasted 😆
Thank you Ty. Just found your channel. Love your insights. 🤗😊
Thank you Dave! I appreciate you watching :D
You’re wonderful! Thanks for this thoughtful reminder.
aww thank you 🙏
I agree 100% with all you shared! Thanks for the honesty; it is so important!
🙏
@ well, you can always talk to me about YT.
Thanks for sharing this. I think what you said resonates with a lot of creators. I agree about finding a community. It helps a lot. I also try to cultivate a lot of patience, understanding it’s a long-run game and letting go of expectations.
Keep creating. 👍
Yes 1000% Community + patience + no/low expectations are a great way to stay in this.
I've been thinking about a lot of similar topics in terms of how I want to show up on TH-cam. Thanks for sharing.
What have you been going and forth on?
@Ty_Myers if mixing tutorials with freelancer advice vlogs is harming my stats
well said, as a new content creator, i am learning everyday.
🙏 there's so much to learn. I appreciate you watching :D

Whoa what a beautiful sky Ty 🙂 Those clouds behind you are cool too 😎
I reckon you need to get a motorbike mate so you can go and cruise around in those mountains 🏍️
New sub here!❤🎉
I dont skip ads
that's so nice of you to say :D and I agree, it's definitely a challenge.
Been a heck of a ride though lol
But you’re right, I can get caught up with analytics but this year I’m I’m doing a detox from Ig and Tt and now shorts lol so it’s been really good for my mental health.
Anyway looking forward to your next videos. I always appreciate what you share. Have a great day.
Hi from New Zealand.

Thank you for saying it and be honest about it.
🙏
Excellent Information. Listed till the end 🎉
aww thanks so much Tiff!
Absolutely not a bad way to think about it!
🙏
Heartfelt. Thank you 🙏
🙏
I totally relate with you and I am guilty of doing the things you say. I actually made an exact video “stolen” from a bigger creator to test how it would do for my channel 🙃
How did it do?
@ for the moment it is 1 of 10 compared to the rest of my videos.but we will have to see in the future. Still got to give credit to Collin for the video.
Hey, thank you for sharing! Try not to go so deep, just enjoy what you doing♥️
Thank you Helen for watching! And I love going deep, it's what I enjoy doing. Thanks again for sharing.
I like this real talk. The YT grind is real!
sure is! thanks for checking this one out.
Good video. TH-cam is definitely not good for my already low self esteem. I agree it is time consuming and like every thing else I try, I don’t have the talent for this. I wish my life didn’t feel so much like a social desert in other words I am here because I am lonely.
You are good at staying consistent and being hard to kill so far as I can tell :D
Two of us...
I don't know anyone near me doing TH-cam sadly, so I have to resort to just internet friends :D
Thanks again for sharing.
Never attach it to your self-worth. Easier said than done though for many people.
100% 🙏
I appreciate you putting this vid out💯🫡
No problem man, thanks for watching. Sorry about the crap video performance. Just keep being you :D
@Ty_Myers Will Do!!
I think that could be a great challenge for most of us - new creators - don’t check TH-cam studio for 24h 😮😂 Not sure I would be able to do it 😅 The feelings of loneliness is true, only other creator can understand that .
haha right! I don't think I could either. Thanks for chiming in and being vulnerable. 🙏
@@pastorrandy ha ha, I love that...."them tube"....
I like seeing diff creators version of the same topic.
good feedback thank you!
Thank you! And good on ya for getting started :D Congrats on 200 subs and 1 month! That's a great start.
TH-cam is absolutely a lot of work!
sure is!
I have a question about remix. Should I turn this off on my video and reels?
That's up to you. I allow it for mine. Is there something about remixing you are concerned about?
I hate talking to the camera, it feels so awkward. Hopefully, time will develop that for me. One thing I've learned about myself is I can currently express a character through acting behind a mask way beyond being myself. So maybe I can harness that skill when it's just me & the camera.
It still feels awkward for me too, some 50 videos later, but it does get easier and more relaxed in time. It just takes practice and repetition and also being comfortable with the subject matter. And there's definitely something to be said about being in costume/mask/character that can make things easier.
Small channel don't give up keep going
🙏
I feel you!
🙏
That deep focus you talk about I think is adhd. I’ve never been diagnosed but looked into and that is one of the traits. I can definitely relate. You get sucked into this and then think wait man I need to take a step back 😆
🙏
everything you said is absolutely true 👍
thank ya, I appreciate you watching 🙏
Great Background !! Are you in Colorado ?
Lol does look like CO
Yup! Good guess :D
Yup good guess!
I know what you mean. I almost didn't want to exist any longer after I felt like this. I had to get counseling and dial back on TH-cam.
Aww I'm sorry to hear that but very glad you were able to get some help. It can take a tole on our mental health. 🙏
Was doing live stream at 2 am on my lunch break and got a question “how you measure success?” Curious what you think?
That is such a loaded question. I think it's different for everyone. Success for me early on was just posting 1 video (because i was so scared to do it and procrastinated for so long). Then it became get to 100 subs, then 1000, then get a client, then motivation. The goal-posts keep moving with every little success. But those are all external in a way.
Internally, when I feel I'm putting in a good days work, taking action and getting things done, learning something new, having a breakthrough, etc, that's when I feel like I'm "succeeding".
How do you measure it?
It's just the way it is. I've accepted it.
Interest media is very difficult. If it isn't popular, it's muted. Attention is the hottest commodity on the Internet. Too many creators are working for free feeding these machines. This is the matrix.
What do you mean by interest media?
@@Ty_MyersSocial media became interest media when widely used platforms changed how they function.
@Ty_Myers Social media became interest media when the functionality of widely used platforms were changed.
Haha I love seeing the fireworks too haha, it makes me smile :D I'm grateful for your feedback, thank you for sharing NonaGrace!
Relatable experience for Creators 😔
But it's okay, my kind of person is very resilient.
About the topic, we are ask to follow trending topics but i refuse.
I love storytelling and i am happy with my unpopular niche. Even if i make just a single person laugh, i am glad.
Cheers 🥂
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Carol!
If wishes were horses...
This is very good information and I appreciate it.
"Stealing" in art has been going on since the first cave paintings study, credit, remix, mash up and transform. Creative work comes from what came before, nothing is completely original. 😉
Yep I agree with that and I think most people (creators/viewers) are good with it, but I think sometimes it crosses a line, sometimes.
I still think it's worth it though, even when it's slow because you just never know when things change. Give this a watch and let me know what you think - th-cam.com/video/EEQfxm6xTZk/w-d-xo.html
@Ty_Myers thank you for your encouraging words 🙏 ❤️
