- Let's continue our journey learning more about Bendy Bones in Blender 2.8 by creating a simple IK arm rig.

"Auto-magically" is my new favorite word.
I watched this and your other bendy bones video and together they helped me understand how to rig the rib meshes on my human skeletal system model in a way that allows them to be properly anchored to the sternum and thoracic vertebra while being flexible, with the end goal of achieving fairly accurate animation of diaphragmatic expansion and contraction. It was the most complex part of the rig and I had saved it for last. One down, twelve to go and feeling very confident.
As I learn all my Blender techniques on an as needed basis, this was my first rig and for me a very complex challenge. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you for the helpful content and concise presentation.

I know how a production rig works but I still have a lot to learn about creating them myself. I will be getting back to creating Blender videos soon and rigging is at the top of the list.

Not a dumb question at all. Took a quick look online and the best I found was a post from 2011 about an addon that would allow it. I don't know of a way to record real time but that does not mean you can't do it. Sorry I can't help more.

Can i marry your voice?, anyways, why would one do bendy bones for arms and legs? (besides the obvious cartoon porpuses), i'm making an all porpuse rig to use on my semi-realistic characters, i belive its not worth the effort to add this to those right? (besides fingers and spine)
