It was doing well before the 80’s, then came the disease with a similar sounding name, though spelled differently. If not for the disease, then the candy might’ve lasted longer, maybe up to now even. So that candy really doesn’t belong here.

When I was younger, Shake Em Fries were the shit! My sister and I would always beg our mom to take us to BK. We also liked the EZ Squirt Ketchup, green and red burgers and fries were just so funny. We also had a butter from Parkay that was different colors too, that just made making a plate of food so fun as a kid.
I actually loved Crystal Pepsi, it was soda that I could drink without the guilt. When it first came out, I was in my last year of high school, and everyday afterschool, my best friend and me would go to our favorite neighborhood store and I would buy my favorite candy bar and a crystal pepsi, boy those were the days!!
The worst thing to happen to Coka Cola was putting it into plastic. Two liter plastic bottles changes the flavor...and not in a good way. I will only buy Coke in cans. If I can find bottles I will buy those.

I know people that grew up with those way back when and loved them, yet never picked up an actual cigarette. since covid, Diet soda went away and the "zero sugar" crap that replaced it tastes like gasoline and turpentine. even more so than regular coke and Pepsi, it's foul.
Diet soda hasn't gone away at all - they sell it right next to the Zero Sugar stuff! No idea what the actual difference is since the ingredients are the same, but I know people that will fight you over Diet Coke and Coke Zero tasting completely different (spoiler: they don't).

I actually liked Coca Cola Blak! It had a slight aftertaste but I still enjoyed it. Coke released another coffee-flavored cola that I liked better in 2021 called Coca Cola with Coffee but it was discontinued the following year. Maybe most people are not fans, but I wish that a coffee-flavored Coke had stayed on the market!

the maxwell one was just ahead of it's time because cold canned coffee is selling really well which that maxwell thing pretty much was and really using movie tied in product as a fali because of it short run when it was always going to be short and they didn't taste bad at all it just food coloring
In Vietnam, we spent over 330 days in the jungle eating LRPS (look it up) ... once in awhile we would go to a "fire support base" to help secure it's perimeter on the DMZ ... once in a blue moon they would bring a converted container on a trailer/semi, that was a small shop with A1 Steak Sauce, film and other goodies ... and if we got lucky; Cheez Whiz in this spout-top can. I'm a retired teacher here in Australia (after 9 years US Army), but my sister in the USA said they sell it at Walmart??? I'm sure after only eating dehydrated food meals... that little snack was great ...

New coke came back though. and they made classic coke, and original coke ( both the same but a % of people didn't notice) There's the chocolate cigarrettes wrapped in rice paper, the boxes have amazing art work, and people would light them to melt the chocolate.
Tayto makes crisps they are especially know for their cheese and onion. It was stinking the chocolate bar but makes more sense that they weren't chocolate makers
Honestly Chocolate with Cheese and Onion crisp bits is actually really good. It’s one of those things that sounds disgusting but you just have to try it to get it. It’s basically just like a sweeter version of a chocolate flavoured cheesecake, although some people compare it more to a salted caramel flavour, it’s really not that bad. I think it’s the onion part of it that puts people off but honestly there is absolutely no taste of onion in it at all.
My mother made my lunch for school everyday with a pressed beef and Mexican Cheese Whiz. It was my favorite. It’s a shame they don’t make the Mexican flavor anymore.
Honestly, when they brought back New Coke as a limited edition collectors item for Stranger Things Season 2, I managed to snag some and tried it. It honestly just tasted virtually indistinguishable from Pepsi. Considering everyone saying they preferred Pepsi in blind taste tests, I guess that's probably what they were going for.
In Coke's defense, New Coke actually beat Pepsi in blind taste tests. It wasn't until people found out that that new formula was replacing the old one that they got upset about it.
They've brought back pepsi blue and crystal pepsi a couple of years ago, only for a limited time though. I enjoyed drinking them. I think they taste better than original
