I had that camera for a couple of years and really enjoyed it. I carried a small piece of cardboard that I wrapped in aluminum foil. Rather than pointing it at the ceiling, I reflected it toward the flash in slave mode. The flash from the camera was directed to the off camera flash rather than the subject. It worked well enough for a hack.
This was shot on my Olympus OMD EM1 Mk II using the “flat” color setting and then color graded in DaVinci Resolve 15 simply using the “Cinematic 1” LUT which I downloaded free from ON1 Software. Thanks for the question!

Will this work with the G5x II? I tried and could not get the 600 EX-RT speedlite to flash.
