Whoever decided the price of cartridges messed up BADLY when buying a new printer that comes with ink is cheaper than replacing the ink cartridges
Actually the cartridge that comes with a printer is a dummy cartridge, it has way less ink in it than a new cartridge and is also built to be able to take less ink if refilled than a new cartridge as they put less space in it for ink.
I have literally paid for about 5 of the printer by buying ink 10 times... It's ridiculous in my country.
@@joeygordon7265 laser printers are the way to go. They’re expensive up front, but it’s worth it for the amount you save when you don’t need to buy ink for your printer

We all from different world should register a complain against HP for giving worst cartridges and refund all money they earned from us.

I only got 43 prints out of a brand new $16.00 HP #65 cartridge. Here's a tip. If you get printer ink on your hands or other surfaces, if you use any cheap brand of SPRAY eyeglass cleaner, I use Walmart's brand, and a paper towel, it will come right off but you have to clean up before it dries or soaks into your hands.
I have refilled my ink cartridge many many times, but sometimes the printer will not recognize the cartridge and I keep forgetting what I did to overrise and reset. It's an HP Officejet. Turning iot off then on doesn't work. You are right, it is easy!

I'm using the HP680 cartridge, the cartridge only hold 1ml for every type of colour, if you put more, the ink will overflow through the printhead, that's what i've experienced during refilling those cartridge, the black one held 5/6ml just fine without any overflow issue.

I have refilled HP cartridges and refurbished unnamed #67 cartridges for the HP Envy Pro and half the time the error message zero which pertains to cartridge comes up. I clean the connections, make sure the ink is flowing through the cartridge, and still the E0 error comes up.
Do you know how to unlock/reset/bypass hpink cartridges? I normally pay a monthly fee but recently came across your video.

The cartridges included with the printer is always filled with a very small amount of ink, not the same as the replacement ones.

Point of interest here, the cartridge shown has the printer head built in, always best to buy printers with this as it is the most common failure of printers. One pin hole blockage and its caput!! if deep cleaning doesn't clear it.

Are you saying always best to buy a printer that uses cartridges that Do NOT have a printer head built in? In other words a printer with individual print heads built in the actual machine, not in the cartridges?

An hp cartridge is like $16 to $24. And needs one for black, one for color. It's better to buy a new printer loaded with ink
I bought the same refill kit for our office printer, we are such a small company and I try to help my boss to save as much as we can. But I couldn't reset the catridge after I refill. Our one is 2700 all in one deskjet, 305 ink catridge. I convince my boss use a bit of money to pusk our luck rather than keep buying expensive HP catridge. If you could give me hints how to do that would be great :)

I manage to reset the ink. You need to power on and off a few time and when the messages ask if you are using refill one then click continue, OR if ask you about the ink level is more then what it showed then click yes. Apparently HP count how many pages allowed to print per cartridge
solution: buy cheap laser printer for $130. never worry about powder drying out or clogging again
Good that i brought an hp deskjet 2331 printer with 805 cartrages cause that thing will work without resetting the cartrage and you can also scan, copyand print on it:)!!!

How to reset cartridge when it's indicated as empty by printer? It's blinks shows empty level. It won't print besides check page... Reset the printer didn't help at all. What can I do?

I ordered HP304 Ink cartrigge from china to Finland for HP2630 printer.
The Cartriges are not working, because there are different country versions for HP304 cartriges...Wft.
Next I try to refill my old original gartrige, everything is fine, but it is not working, because the printer computer think it is still empty.
Finaly I go to shop and by Epson Ecotank printer.
The ink scam is over.

Whatever you do, do not ever buy re-filled cartridges. They just don't work. The OEM go to great lengths to make sure only OEM cartridges work. OK, some re-fills work, but do you want to gamble $23 on Amazon to see if you 'won'. No, use reputable company ink like Canon and avoid those one-use 'wonders'.

Recharging your Cartridge. Top up 2 ml. after you have printed a hundred pages. Don't empty your new cartridge just keep topping it up. I have two cartridges and have printed over 1000. pages...so far. You will need a syringe.

An ink cartridge is NOT just a piece of plastic with a few drops of ink in it. See that strip on the bottom? That's a very complex piece of miniaturized electronics. It contains the actual ink jets. That's responsible for a lot of the cost.
The solution is to buy the right printer. I use a printer that has the ink jets mounted in the print head and not on the ink cartridges. With my printer, the cartridges really are just a piece of plastic with ink in them. They cost about $10 a piece. In the some of the newer printer models the ink tanks are permanently mounted in the printer and you refill them from ink bottles, which is even cheaper. And it's designed to be done without the mess.
And the problem with refilling your cartridges is which ink you buy. I tried it once. But a lot of the ink refill kits out there are junk and contain low quality ink. If you print a color document, it can look crappy. Even black and white can look washed out. It's like the difference between cheap paint, and good paint. You get what you pay for.

Even if you refill those cartriges, Not all printers allow you to bypass the Chip protection, the printer you're putting those cartridges in will reject them, despite being full to the brim.
You basically went to the trouble to refill them for nothing, It's like HP screwed you over twice. 😂😂🤣
CHeck the circuit board area on the cartridge. There should be a small hole that you can stick a paperclip in to reset it.

I had a hard time understanding your accent, but I have tried the ink kit from Amazon, and it's great, until as you said, the company discovers that you are printing 1,000 sheets with only one cartridge, then they disable your cartridge. It's a big MONOPOLY, and the companies should be cited for that. I also didn't like your presentation because you kept complaining about the mess, but I didn't really know why you were snapping back one part to the other, or sticking the syringe into one of the holes; i imagine to remove air or excess ink-- but I used towels to suck the excess ink, and once it seemed decent, I'd reinsert the cartridge.
