we last explored the French mine in 1975 , there was still a lot of stuff lying around, looks like a lot of ceiling collapse since then, interesting to see it today , be careful in there , lots of surprise holes, maybe their collapsed by now, my dad was electrician at Nickel Plate back in 1956, we lived in Princeton, I remember very well when Hedley was still a working mine, same as Copper Mountain, and Allenby where the refinery was, lived there in 1960, many others through the Smilkmeen valley, as a kid a lot of these places were still working mines, lots of great exploring up there, also check out the Tulameen valley , Coalment, and surrounding area, be careful out there and have fun. I enjoy seeing all these places 60 yrs later.
Hello Bob, We’ve been through the whole thing and connected them a few times, including in this video. As for spraying arrows, we actually don’t recommend doing that. Not only is it defacing natural surfaces and ugly to look at, I’ve seen ppl spray arrows down an ore pass, where you’d get seriously hurt, or die if you tried it without ropes..There’s other ways to not get loss. Like using the whatever you can find to make arrows on the ground(wood, garbage, drilling steel etc) You can use string, but in that case would need to backtrack to pick it up after etc Following existing arrows can be a bad choice too, you may get too far in and not have enough light to get you out. With multiple ppl using the arrow method, you may confuse their arrows w your own and get lost too.
That is a really cool mine. Great video. Parts of that mine look so treacherous. Dangers around every corner to add to your adventure. Stay safe out there and have a great weekend.
Some parts were for sure! But shadows make everything look scarier 😂 Thanks for stopping by and happy Monday, hope you have a good start to your week!!

You can actually got from the upper french mine cavern to the lower french mine.
Make sure you mark the walls so you know the way out if you get lost.
