really glad to see that the restored this incredible work of art and its open to the public to see.......just imagine what it took to get all the materials need up there to build the structures .....not to mention how the found it to start with ....they were tough as nails back then I tell ya
Wowww!! Can’t tell you how happy it makes us to see a comment from you!! ❤️We were surprised to see you like a few of our posts on the California/Nevada Gold Mining page on FB and this just tops it off!! So, thank you 😀😀The Mascot is truly an incredible place and has been definitely a favourite of ours so far. You are correct there that’s for sure! It’s amazing to see what people were capable of and every little bit of it makes for great stories and even better pieces of history. Thanks so much for stopping by our channel Jeff, can’t tell ya how much we appreciate it!!! Take care and stay safe out there❤️
@@AdventuresRUs you betcha and you two keep them vids a coming and be safe out there .....so you know what I am gonna say huh .....you better ....So C'mon...let's Go !!!!
Wow thank you for showcasing your part of our world. I appreciate that nothing appears staged not that I can see how it could be fearless Chyanne is always 3 steps ahead of the camera.
Great Show Allways wanted to go there...used to live in Princeton in 80s&90s heard Guys talk 🦜 about the Canary in the Mineshaft but I never went there......finally I got there in the Virtual 🌎🌍 👍😊 thanks!
Another badass edit! Love the red rock and yes seeing that place in it's hayday would be something else. Awesome to see places like this not getting vandalized.
Hi Adam & Chyanne, what an amazing feat of engineering, it must have been a very difficult task to build all of those platforms, stairs and building. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖
From what we’ve heard they might continue their restoration on the site and reopen it to the public again. It’s truly an amazing place and needs to be restored. Thanks again Sue for all your love and support!
Thanks for taking the time to watch. With it being closed and the future up in the air, we wanted to create a video to share it with everyone, and see it for ourselves before it was to late.Take care!
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes it’s an amazing place with an even more amazing story! We hope that someone steps up and restores Mascot back to its glory days, definitely one of BC’s gems! Thank you for subbing, we really appreciate the support. Take care and stay safe.
Welll that was quite the adventure! Pretty neat to see those old mines. You guys went plenty of places that I wouldn't. Too bad the tours were not running still. That place is starting to get dilapidated and dangerous. Way impressive how they build and mined these places back in the day. Cool video. Take care and be safe out there in these types of adventures.
It’s definitely too bad!! We’ve heard great things about it and if it’s not saved soon, it’ll be gone one day in the near future:( Thanks for watching and you guys be safe too!!
Usually we try to add more storyline to the video, but this one was so long and I was worried about adding too much. My program I use for editing has been giving me some trouble, so I played it safe and put it in the description. Thanks so much for your watching and your nice comment:)
@@AdventuresRUs for that movie deal. They make it like a chat, one account asks if anyone knows of a good movie spot. The next drops the ad, yeah check out such n such. But word for word same 2 accounts all over. Gets old. Figured I'd get rid of it. 😁
That’s awesome! It’s really neat there too, an entirely different experience! Geocaching is becoming a really popular thing. There’s one at most locations we visit lol We should get into it!!
Hello Don:) This is the part 2, but it’s of another mine up in the same area. th-cam.com/video/U3vHFIagHnc/w-d-xo.html This was the third part of that trip th-cam.com/video/JdRT8ayM0XU/w-d-xo.html And the part 4 if you make it this far!! th-cam.com/video/zzug0sr5j2o/w-d-xo.html Take care!!
Great video, just hope you don't end up in trouble like the last person who video'd this place. They found out the place is privately owned and the owners threatened them with legal action.
Thanks!! We spoke to the Hedley Museum and were among quite a few people there. Seeing there are lots of videos out there and thousands of pictures posted regularly, I’m not too worried!!! But stay tuned!!! 🙂
Hey guys! Any way you could point me in the direction of how to get to the Mascot gold mine? I checked out the french mines today and it was unreal. I was actually searching for the Mascot mine. I would really appreciate it!

Great find, this one is a gem.
This is the same mine you told us not to bother filming or going in…

Thanks for watching. It was awesome to explore the area and we can’t wait to go back!
Awesome video guys! Had to delete my comment to get rid of some ad posts. ❤⛏
Hey guys! No worries! But we are curious, what do you mean ad posts?

Never got the chance to visit Mascot Mine, but we did do French's Mine while Geocaching once.

One day, im going to move to the state of Washington so i can visit places like this. And even camp in Canada.
Great video. The tour of the old buildings was the best part. Was there much spport under the floorboards? Seemed dangerous.
Thanks for watching this one:) Unless there was a lower level, then no. At times we could feel the buildings move with the wind!
ok qua hay nhe
cảm ơn bạn 😀?

Hello Mike, do you have an email we could send the directions to, or if you’re on fb Chyanne can send you them there. :)
@@AdventuresRUs any chance you still have directions handy? We tried but were turned around by Nickleplate workers
Hey man when you went did you hike in?
Yes we did.
@@AdventuresRUs could I ask if you went though the town side or the "back side"
Through the back. I believe they’re working up there now and have built a road up to it. It’s supposed to be opening back up soon for tours.
At 44:33 it looked like 406 ft. level maybe.
It’s the 4800 level
Hope my videos will have the same quality one day my friend!
Thanks for the kind comment! Checked out your channel and it had some great content, keep it up!
