Everything on ESPN and in the news was that she was playing for the Grand Slam at her home slam at the US Open nonetheless. You could tell how much pressure she was feeling every match she played by watching her intensity and her expressive emotions. She wanted to win so badly and to see her lose at that point in the tournament to an opponent she had never lost to was inspiring and heartbreaking all at the same time. Champions fall, but rise again. Thank you Serena Williams - you are, in my opinion, the GOAT.

I often found that when Serena lost matches, especially matches she was expected to win, that she discredited her opponent by saying they played better than they ever have before. Meaning they were lucky. When it comes to how modest or humble she is compared to the Roger, Novak and Rafa, Roger and Novak are not always gracious losers. Rafa is the most humble in my opinion.
