One of the most fun games that I've ever played in my life, remember me of the good old days playing with my friend. One of the best soundtracks ever too
This and the Super Nintendo Turtles game will forever be etched into my memory. Sitting in the pool-house playing this with my brother and our friends in the summer after a day of playing baseball or surfing. Man I wish I could go back to those days.
Omg I remember playing this with my late friend 😭. Especially the song roper broke my heart it brought back some good memories from simpler times. Thank you for having this here.
God, i love The Dark Queens song so much. She was such a bad ass and i love everything about her!.....now if u excuse me, my childhood is beginning to ache.
SNES vs GENESIS Main Theme vs Title Theme Introduction vs Queen's Lair Abobo vs On da Ship's Tail Big Blag vs Kick'n'Punch Roper vs Inside the Ship Rat Ship vs Open Space Robo Manus vs On da Missile The Dark Queen vs Crazy Ride Victory vs Introduction Continue vs Next Stage
I've looked on The Cutting Room Floor website, and I noticed there's a song that goes unused in the SNES version. It's the song that normally plays when you pick your character in the other versions, but it doesn't play here.
I think this game remains as the most unlikely crossover in video game history. If you went back to 1992 and told a gamer that in the future, we'd have Mario and Sonic in multiple games together, a game where you can have Ryu from Street Fighter fighting the version of Mega Man from the original box art, and a crossover between giant cartoon frogs and Double-Dragon, I'm pretty sure they would be willing to believe the first two, but the last one is where they think you're pulling their leg.
I don't think it was that unlikely at all. I was 10 yrs old when BB/DD came out & it just felt natural since DD & BT were both somewhat household names at the time with their own cartoons, comics & even a live action movie. 90s had tons of crossovers like Alien vs Predator, Robocop vs Terminator, Batman vs Punisher, Batman vs Predator etc, so this game just followed the trend.
I never heard a soundtrack that has almost everytrack is enjoyable to listen to. Its probably my top rated of all time because of consistency. I normally click off a video if i find more than three effy ones.
Strangely missing the boss battle music that's in the nes and sega genesis ports. I always wondered how kick was a sega CD port would of been with its CD quality music
Oh, hell no, I made sure it was the game that got murdered instead of me😂. Played it so much like the others to the point I never died😂. Great times indeed.
Heavy Metal being in the decline in the early 90s didn't stop David Wise from composing this absolute head-banger of a soundtrack!
ultimate team? wrong; the ultimate team was me and my dad conquering this game on the last day before we had to return it to blockbuster
Fuck yeah
One of the best comments I’ve seen on anything anywhere.
DAMN LET'S FUCKIN' GO
This was awesome read!
This is the best comment I have seen, it reminds me of my dad and me playing the Snes game Ninja Turtles
David Wise... one of the all time greats. Music that surpasses the games... and we're talking GREAT games.
So true... And the dude had sooo very little to work with back then to make sounds sound actually good on the snes. What a talented master of music!
This game was gold on allll consoles
Roper's stage was one of the best tracks in the game, hands down!
Facts!!
I just love the Abobo track. David Wise was able to perfectly capture that late 80's vibe in those old vigilante beat'em ups
@Retro Mania 22 nice mention with Kodaka. I am going to look for his stuff
Well said. David Wise really blended the notes to create those wonderful musics.
That breakdown at 3:03 on abobo is the smoothest beat 🔥🔥🔥💯 id loop it nonstop
One of the most fun games that I've ever played in my life, remember me of the good old days playing with my friend. One of the best soundtracks ever too
Love hearing stuff like this. Wish you and me could play it together! You better not die a lot and fuck us over lololol
Im still playing it on my cell phone
It had to be the genius David Wise again. Amazing!

All of them are bangers, fit every level like a glove
Omg I remember playing this with my late friend 😭. Especially the song roper broke my heart it brought back some good memories from simpler times. Thank you for having this here.
This is a great time and gaming. Five dollars a blockbuster video card and a Dominos pizza and you were straight all week
Facts that was the beauty of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
I was born 84 you ? If you had a Nintendo and a new game you where considered rich
@@miamimagicians I was born in 88. Started playing Nintendo in 91.
@@miamimagicians 86 here brother true 90s kid I cherish these games
It sucks that I was born in 1999 and never lived in the 80s.
3am here singing these songs in my head and now listening to this awesome music, remembering when i used to sneak outta bed late at night just to play
This soundtrack brings back memories of the 80s. Love it. I listen to this in my car.
Ropers OST was always my favorite but lots of great tunes
I love those rare SNES Soundtracks (badam tsh). They was so good back in time. EDIT: And still are!
13:56 Missile Mayhem/On da Missile is one of the best tracks ever made for a video game I'm ngl
That bass line in Big Blag! Supreme!
I have to come back to the awesome cowbell from the intro every once in a while.
Yes very Motley crue.
God, i love The Dark Queens song so much. She was such a bad ass and i love everything about her!.....now if u excuse me, my childhood is beginning to ache.
Sure that's not your manhood?
Sound of Level 3 is is awsome, realy bad ass Melody,i like it!!!!!!
had a lot of nostalgic sound in that theme, sound to the best days of double dragon with mix battletoads
and the composer was the same compose the donkey kong country ost
David Wise "Is A Legend when it comes to making 🔥 Beats".
Oh..I just cant help notice how much better this version’s music is compared to the Genesis 😈
Sunset riders is like night and day for music quality between the 2 systems
The shadow boss gives me a megaman x feeling, which is very nostalgic. In fact, this entire soundtrack reminds me of megaman x
My fever for "more cowbell" has been miraculously cured!
Stage 1 was shit to jam to when I was a kid. I loved this game a lot.
Yep, fuckit, let's die and play that first level again just to hear the song. lol
You can see the genius of David Weiss years before he did donkey Kong country
Devil Eye If you have steam and the green light is still on, can you guys vote for it if I do it?
The best soundtrack of the world!!!!!!!
Done by David wise
Thus is typical Wise work
I like the NES version more, but I really liked this one too, it's like a remix of a favorite song.
7:58 Donkey Kong Country style...
for me the most iconic aspect of the Donkey Kong Country music is the use of the Pan Flute instrument
David Wise composed both ost
THis is your daily reminder that this soundtrack effing slaps.
I actually forgot how good this soundtrack is, mostly heavy rock in the background
The whole soundtrack slaps but Stage 6 and 7 crank the insanity up to new levels.
SNES vs GENESIS

Man i wish some1 remade these song oh lord
The intro song is classic. It also sounds like something you would here in WCW NWO World Tour.
Muito obrigado!!! Vc é um mito cara, tava procurando isso, joguei demais com um primo meu, pra mim o melhor jogo de snes
Thanks 😎
That main theme. That's the early-mid 90's theme song.
Yes
a lot of 80 sound
ummmmm. Try listening to Girls on Film BY: Duran Duran
07:35 - Oh Yeah 2020, but still feels like first time..
This OST was Electroswing before Electroswing was a thing.
The good old days. How i miss the 90s.
Incredible how can mix the 2 sounds the perfect example its that 07:35 always sound the 2 original themes of the both games
Man, this is addicting music!!!! had it my head all day!
This is a great version. CD quality. Where did you find this?
no one will ever know
I've looked on The Cutting Room Floor website, and I noticed there's a song that goes unused in the SNES version. It's the song that normally plays when you pick your character in the other versions, but it doesn't play here.
RARE was ON FIRE in the90s

love it!
very cool!:) люблю эту музычку!!:)))
I miss growing up in the 90s 😞😞
Perfect SNES OST!!
This soundtrack is very badass! My favorite one is the one from Dark Queen (last boss)
David Wise is GOLD!
Most badass VG soundtrack ever!
Didn't know there was a track past those whip bitches. That stage was brutal.
I never heard a soundtrack that has almost everytrack is enjoyable to listen to. Its probably my top rated of all time because of consistency. I normally click off a video if i find more than three effy ones.
7:35 roper Best sound.
Robo Manus theme though 🤘🏻 🤘🏻
Thanks for share!
Strangely missing the boss battle music that's in the nes and sega genesis ports. I always wondered how kick was a sega CD port would of been with its CD quality music
If only they would have stayed true to this formula in Battletoads 2020; it would have been so much better
The music in the SNES version is far superior to the Genesis version, comment if you agree.
Nope
Great OST. This game destroyed me as a kid...safe to assume none of us heard anything past Roper level right? Lol
Oh, hell no, I made sure it was the game that got murdered instead of me😂. Played it so much like the others to the point I never died😂. Great times indeed.
robo manus is the best ost from this game
So ironic this game was composed by an iconic Rareware developer.
Muito bom joguei muito esse jogo no SNES
8:05 greats
Where is the prelude music before the main title screen? I cant find that anywhere
10:40 While you navigate in space... 🛸
This version is way better.
All these people on here pretending they actually beat this game, lmao.
Most of us did with the cheat code to warp levels. lol
I beat it through its entirety. That was long ago.
This one was rather easy. The NES one tho...
Stale ass punches 🤣
Jake Steed At least it’s more mature unlike SEGA and nes put together.
Huh???
rat ship being underheard is stupid. that song smacks harder than all of them.
classicoooooooooooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥
This shit goes hard
love it
Блять, это ультра охуительная музыка. Лучшие версии музыки это NES и SNES. Хотя у самого была сега , но в плане музыки версии нес и снес лучшие.
I don't know, I just don't know, maybe I need a little more cowbell around here.
where I can download this quality?
this sounds awesome
07:35 Milli Vanilla vibes..
I wanted to listen to turbo tunnel track.
Needs more cowbell
I think the main title is a bit flat, still great though.
This game was so corny it was awesome. I laughed and laughed but it was still fun.
18:11
like nice music i lpay the game buy at the stage 4 i die
=)
Coolest than ninjas turtles by far!!!!
Toads? = 💪🏽🐸
Dragons? = 💪🏼🐲
Professor?! = 💪🏻🐔💪🏻
Lieing my mom and dad gave me that game
No 40 minute Pause song? Come on now
Main Theme sounds like Anthrax - Howling Furies.

👍
One more like to 1000!! 👍🏻😎
666 на мне ? совпадение ?
man
David Wise ripped off Girls On Film by Duran Duran?.🤔
it kind of sound like Heartless Heart by Dokken
@@daikaiser9394 and howling furies by anthrax
Michael Jackson
This game was such a joke that trolled the fighting game genre LOL.
uhm.. this is not a fighting game, it's a beat em' up
@@Seiko180 I don't know what bomb is talking about. His comment did bomb though lol.
