Roy was so misunderstood it hurt.
Rebel kind of took Roy’s statement too negatively and used it against him ngl. I believe Roy meant to say he thinks hes attractive but he finds the other boys more attractive. He was also saying (possibly) he thought the others personalities were great so he understood why he was in 5th and didn’t wanna fight back since he thought it was fair enough.

I completely agree that the physical attributes that we're insecure about in ourselves aren't things other people notice nearly as much as we focus on them ourselves. I literally just had that conversation with my best friend the other day and she was talking to me about how her new skincare routine has helped reduce the noticeability (not a real word apparently) of a couple spots she used to have on her face and I told her I don't know what she's talking about because I never noticed them, lol! I have to say though, that I always feel rude when I tell someone I never noticed a physical attribute they're insecure about because it feels like I'm saying, "I never noticed because I never paid that much attention to you." I'm a very self conscious person, especially when it comes to how someone might perceive or interpret what I say because I NEVER intend to be hurtful or offensive.
