Uhmm I think there was a minor hiccup during this game, when you make attacks they all happen at the same time. So when the Nuerogaunt unit was being attack by the Termies, the majority toughness of the unit was still 3 for the entire units attacks, so the Sergeant's power weapon would have wounded on 3's. Not a big thing and it certainly didn't change the game, but good to remember going forward.
Awesome! Love your ultramarine scheme, makes them look tough. Also love the base scheme on the tyranids, want to do something similar for my carcharodons to make the greys pop. Thanks for the great video!
Chris sure had a nicely painted army that got shot off the table. Uh, spoilers, I guess. Also, I wasn't really sure of your basing technique watching your painting videos, but damn, it really works on the table top.
Chris did a great job. We both have some ideas on what two units we want to add to make for some variety for our multi-player game for a Tale of Four(tyish) Gamers. We'll probably talk about that in the call this weekend!
Lovely paint jobs on the forces, great work both. In all honesty I still prefer Rogue Trader - my rose tinted spectacles are 35 years old and still work perfectly!
Under the 'Starting Strength' for Units of 1 is half of its Wounds or less. & you OoM the Neurotyrant in your Turn, then OoM the Barbgaunts in the Tyranids Turn, I think? [@ 46:00-ish ] & oh Godz, 45 VP plus 12 VP is 57 VP, not 67. 😂
Points seem a bit weird atm, though i am new to Eldar and thats what I'm looking at, i wouldn't have thought a fire prism is only 5 points more than a wave serpent and a falcon is more expensive. Though i do think they might be place holdery until they get them a bit more settled with weapon costs.
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Yeah, but you didn’t seem to do it on camera? And the Infernus marines also have an ability which forces the opponent to take a bs.
As someone who likes close combat i hate the fall back mechanic of 40k. Ruins the game. This played like every 40k game I’ve ever watched. Disappointed.
21:30 35 hits, causing... 1 wound 😄 Warhammer Buck-o-Dice in full effect.

'Jive-turkey beetle shots' might be my fav. line of the year so far.
I was partial to ‘Smoke show of murder’ myself.
@@shinankoku2 that is a good one too. Having passed all those saves though gives the jive-turkey more gusto.
@@billsmith6273 Ash did make an incredible number of saves. Also: did you notice he kept rolling a 5 and a 6 for to-hits with his dread’s lascannons
I’m just glad I still can use my tactical marines
My only gripe is out of the box, they are trying to hook you unto buying another unit :/

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Great! I need another one of your talks to listen to as I finally put together my Deathwatch.

love me some good ol batrep. Keep it up Ash and team!
I find that brain bug offensive! ;)
Is that tyranid paint recipe online anywhere? they look ace.

Those Tyranids look awesome! Think you can talk Chris into doing a how-to-paint for them?
4 x 4 is 16 shots; that's a paddlin'
Great job
loved the games as always! were there any enhancements and who had them? also, no shadow in the warp?
Fun as always
Ash where do you get your dice?
They’re from a kids game called Tenzies
So what happened to the battle shock?
You take it in your own command phase if you’re below half. Or if a rule forced you to ( infernus marines). That’s it!
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Yeah, but you didn’t seem to do it on camera? And the Infernus marines also have an ability which forces the opponent to take a bs.
Typical GW couldn't balance a box if they tried. Hope the Nid player can just paint and add something to see a full 1K point fight.
I'm adding a tyrannofex with zero guilt

I'm 7 minutes in, you haven't started playing and I'm already losing interest because of the amount of stuff going on, river of cards indeed.
