    BTW, swapping the joy sticks did eliminate the drift problem I was having.

    I have to get one of these for my V1 switch once I receive my switch in the post! I can’t wait to have a like new animal crossing switch!
    Edit I did get one and it looks so cool! Definitely 1-1 copy of the animal crossing switch. Well worth the money.

    How long did it take to ship? I've been avoiding Aliexpress because of the unpredictable shipping and customer service but what is your experience?

      It took about three weeks. Due to customs not getting to them until they felt like it. I would recommend to mentally prep for a wait of six weeks and then be pleasantly surprised :)

      Mine took like one month but that was mostly because of customs. No extra charges though.

    How is the quality of the plastic? Did it melt with high temperature?

      I have been using it for over a month now and it has held up just the same as the original housing.

    I didn't understand why people didn't just buy these shells rather than pay extra from scalpers for this specific switch

      I just bought a V1 switch on eBay for pretty cheap and once it gets here I will swap the housing for an animal crossing one with the dock and the digitiser to make it all like new and it will still be way less than buying an animal crossing switch.

      @@Alexander_l322 Why would you swap the digitizer?

    • @IllInformedHuman
      @IllInformedHuman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why not! (JK, that might cause problems for poor old Alex)

    • @Alexander_l322
      @Alexander_l322 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SweetMelaninn because it had deep scratches. The digitiser cost £10 and it took me 5 mins to fit. It works just like the original too.

    how's the sensation form the joycon shell? Is it like a brand new original joycon??

    • @IllInformedHuman
      @IllInformedHuman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The gap between the plastic housing was a bit more noticeable. While the face of the plastic felt as if I bought brand new Joy cons. All-in-all I am happy with the feel of them.

    Do the Triggers feels nice? Cause sometimes on these middle Plates from China they get really smushy

      Mine were fine. Though, I did perform the straightness test (lay it on a flat surface and visualize). If they were bent a little, I would have either not done anything or ordered another set.

    Link?

    • @IllInformedHuman
      @IllInformedHuman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't leave a link since the site keeps changing suppliers. Or at least, web-space locations, they appear to be able to keep their rating. I am betting it is so companies have a harder time telling them to stop.
