I understand how you feel because something similar happened to me, though not with B&K. My mistake was going to the 400 Flea Market near Barrie. There was a guy, a Pakistani leather jacket maker, and I asked him if he could make me an Elvis-style leather jacket. I showed him a picture from my phone of a B&K jacket, and he confidently said, "No problem, we can make anything." Thinking I could trust him, I agreed. But instead of using a tailor's measuring tape, he used a construction tape-the yellow kind. When it came time to measure me, I told him I wear a 4XL. He looked at me and said, "You look like a 3X." I tried to insist, saying I was definitely a 4XL, but he insisted on his opinion. He only measured my shoulders and arms, jotting down the measurements on a scrap of paper. I asked if he wasn’t going to measure my chest, waist, and back, but he brushed it off, saying he knew the size based on what he had measured and that I was a 3X. I argued with him again, telling him I’m a 4X, but he told me not to worry. Against my better judgment, I trusted him. Unfortunately, he completely messed up the jacket size-not once, but three times. Every time he blamed the people in Pakistan for messing up the measurements. Lesson learned-never trust someone who doesn't take proper measurements, especially with something as precise as a custom I was so upset he knew i was so pissed so he gives me my money back and I told him at the door you need to go back to school how to measure people correctly and tell the people in the Pakistan to do the same I would order online from bnk but still risky to give my measurement to them without me not being done in person to measure me over there by B&K Plus they are very expensive I saw that leather jacket from B&K a lot of money
