I guess this was from one of his recent performances. His voice as well his vocal range have changed quite a lot with age. But in his prime he was something else, out of this world. By the way, he's been singing since the 90s.

Saw you guys praising his vocal range, so just to inform you, he is 50 y/o now, you guys will go insane once you hear him live from his golden era- 2000-2015, in that era he performed the shows like god, no one can match his dynamic vocals, he was the humming king of bollywood in that era
I was actually waiting for you guys to come to know Zubeen Garg. He's a phenomenal artist and a great human being too. Often termed as a rebel he truly stands out among other artists.
Assam takes pride in him, he is so much loved & celebrated here. I first heard his song Maya from his first album when I started my college...it was an accidental listen. Since then I have been so in love with his vocals. His voice just touches your soul. And the fact that he writes most of his songs is amazing. He is always there for help to the needy & destitutes,goes out of his way to help anyone in problem.
I can take tooo much time describing his great qualities. But this channel is for music so I request you to listen to his Bollywood songs. You will fall in love with them.
