Sony Fx3 Review In 2024 : Is It The Right Camera For You?

- A year and a half with the Fx3 has given me some great insight. Many people are still saving up and considering this camera, so here's some helpful info that might assist you in that decision!
Yo love the video great content your tone and your delivery is easy for someone to learn. I just bought the FX and I’m hoping to get the FX six so thanks again. Keep doing these. They help a lot of people I’m a fan.

One of the things i like about the FX3 is the very fast sensor readout speed, next to no rolling shutter.

Nice!! You'll have a complete setup for sure! IMO, the B cam should be easy to set up and break down. Fx3 is an ideal B cam
Great video! I just bought the FX3 a week ago. I shoot photography on the A7R5. Both cameras are great at what they do. I am still figuring out the FX3. I'm working to get to the level where I am confident enough in my skills with the camera that I can get paid to do various jobs and projects. Thanks for the insight and keep on going with what you are doing!
Sweet! I've had it for nearly two years and I'm STILL learning new things about this cam. Try second shooting with someone, that's where I have the most freedom to practice with less pressure

Great video. Glad I found it. I’m in the process of switching to Sony myself. I’m trading in my C70 and R6. Been meaning to make the switch to Sony for a couple years. Don’t know why I waited so long. All that to say, I’m picking up an FX3. I’m not really trying to think about the L I’m taking with regards to depreciation. It feels like I’m getting jumped out of a gang, lol.

Glad I could help! I think you’re making the switch at a perfect time! Another benefit is there are so many more lens brands compatible with Sony, which will save you a lot of money in the long run 👏🏽
Bought my FX3 at the beginning of the year (after switching from Nikon to Sony last year) as my primary Video camera… relegating my Sony A1 as a secondary and “still” camera.
Shoot in studio under controlled lighting so the capabilities of these high are not necessary… but it’s good to know I’m not locked it that one shooting environment.
I’ve got it fully rigged out in a cage with a V-mount, matte box and Atomos Ninja to use as my monitor… but I also bought the RS3 for handhelds…
Initially I wasn’t planning to use the XLR handle and onboard mic but I’ll keep it on for ambient sound… thought all my audio is off camera plugged into my Zoom F8n

It has no open gate in 2024 so i would never buy it for this ridiculous amount of money they want for a shity 4 k camera. This thing does the things it does well but it does not enough
