You should really watch the movie. It's among the very few movies I bothered to get on DVD because it's just that good and I watch it at least once a year.

My grandpa loved Johnny Cash. I remember every time we’d all pack up to go way up to the mountains to fish and camp. He’d listen to Johnny. And he’d sing. My grandpa kind of sounded like him too!

My grandfathers favorite artist of all time was Johnny Cash. He even met him a few times. The last time he did was in 2001. He always played his music for me when I was growing up. My grandpa passed away in February 2010 at 65 of cancer when I was 11 years old. Every time I think of him I’ll play some of Johnnys music. When I first heard this version on Instagram a couple days ago I got chills. Your grandpas music will live on forever.

I was born in Warren Arkansas 35 miles from Kingsland Arkansas and 1/2 mile from the hospital where I was born was Otis Cash propane shop where as a teenager Johnny Cash his nephew would work sometimes during the summer and on his lunch break Johnny would sit out back on the loading dock and play his guitar and sing which I was told by my Farther who just so happens to be a second cousin to the king of Rock-n-Roll.

Crazy this came up on my feed today. A dear friend of mine passed this morning. I always played Johnny Cash with him when we were playing card games. He was elderly. His granddaughter was by his side when he passed. That gave me peace. Grandkids are a gift from God❤️
