I just purchased a S5ii. I’ve been looking for help setting the camera up. I do primarily photography. The choices of video features are head spinning. I don’t understand many of the choices. There aren’t many videos dedicated to the stills features. Went to a parade yesterday. Disaster struck. When in P,A,S,M the shutter wouldn’t fire. Only in C1 or C2 would the camera work. Then the autofocus was horrible. 20-30% of the time the focus wouldn’t lock. This was true for both the 50/1.8 & 85/1.8. The autofocus wouldn't move. I was further than the minimum focus distance. As a result, I had a suboptimal experience with the S5ii. Think I am going to sell it. I’ve read people rave about this camera. I think they are very wrong.
