- In diesem Video stelle ich euch kurz vor, wie ich in der Hangar 9 Aermacchi MB-339 ARF 84" mein Smoke System eingebaut habe.
Die Smokepumpe sitzt in der Nase und ist noch vor der Modellvorstellung auf der Prowing 2023 dort verbaut worden. Den Tank habe ich nun auch fertiggestellt.
Der Tankinhalt des Smoketanks beträgt 700ml.
Das Modell hat 2m Spannweite und ist ausgelegt für Turbinen von 60-85N.
Haben eine JetCat P-100 verbaut. Produktentwickler Ali Machinchy fliegt mit einer Kingtech K70.

Da kommt der erfahrene Modellbauer durch. Super gemacht, tolles Ergebnis. Bei so einer Maschine ist das schon fast Pflicht, finde ich.
Danke Klaus! Leider gibt es keinen passenden leichten Tank, so das jeder es einfach umsetzen kann. Aber es ist auf jedenfall möglich und ich bin sehr glücklich damit.

Toll gebaut! Vieleicht ein kleines aber effektives Update, ein leichteres Schubrohr bringt sehr viel um blei zu sparen😉

Ich finde das serienmäßige Schubrohr mit 233g nicht sonderlich schwer. Es kann aber gut sein, dass es noch leichtere gibt. Für mich ist es schon ein Kaufargument, dass das Modell direkt mit Schubrohr kommt. Damit erspart man sich die leidige Suche nach einem passenden Schubrohr und natürlich auch die Kosten.
Falls du aber einen Tipp hast, wo man ein alternatives leichteres Schubrohr bekommt, schreib es sehr gerne in die Kommentare 🙂

You mention that you used clevis links on the elevators and rudders. They are 3mm? Where did you get them? Great series of videos. I’m going to try a jetcat p-70 in mine. What did you use for batteries and where are they located. I missed them in your videos. Thanks

Wie lang reichen die 750 ml Smokeöl dann?
Hallo Moritz, das hängt von der eingestellten Förderleistung/Smokedichte ab. Bei meinen ersten Flügen (aus denen auch der Clip am Anfang stammt) lief die Pumpe auf 62%.
Da konnte ich überraschenderweise fast bei jedem Überflug smoken bis der Kerosintank leer war und lies den Smoketank im Landeanflug leerlaufen.
Ich bin jetzt auf 85% hoch gegangen um die Dichte zu erhöhen.
Ich denke in dieser Modellklasse ist 700ml ein sehr guter Wert. In anderen Jets sind Tanks mit 500ml doch recht schnell soweit runtergeflogen, dass man Luftblasen zieht.

Very nicely done! What is the smoke nozzle used? Is it wide open or pinched so producrs mist of oil when run with turbine off? Or is it some special with that metal deflector which heats up and oil is sprinkled at it to propagate smoking and not getting away of tube in liquid form?
Fluid is powerbox blu max or some house mix?
