Excellent work. For a cheap and cheerful Flying Machine not bad. Great solution to the aileron damage 😮 as well no fuss fix and looks glod as well.😊 Keep at it 😅. now
Thanks 👍😊
Thank you for the video, I am considering this plane as my first turbine jet. I plan on using a Jet Central Hornet turbine and of course Jeti radio.
Nice! All great choices!
4:38 You used a Y-cable! lol 😂
Yes! I caved!
@@thelightersideofrcanother spectator comment from the comfy sofa. You could've used the covering of the wheel well for the damage on the aileron :)
just saying because I've done so a couple of times after letting a screwdriver fall from my hands and through the wing covering :)
Jon, for all the nay sayers about kits and builds. I have the answer straight from the dictionary:
build
/bild/

verb
1.
construct (something) by putting parts or material together.
"the ironworks were built in 1736"
Regardless of weather its a box of sticks and plans or a finely semi constructed kit, its still a build. Scratch builders may not like this and I have scratch built many its quite simply a fact. So tell anyone who says these aren't builds to open a dictionary.
I have built several H9 kits and love them. Glad to see you doing this one!
SO RIGHT!!!!
Love it!!!!! Thank you.
How much do you charge per hour of labor ? Or do you just quote a price per project and take it from there ? Curious how you apply price for your time
Very few projects are done hourly. Generally it’s a lump sum price.
I May be Biased but this channel is AMAZING!!!!
Wanting a smaller 80ish turbine for my field. What is considered the “best” in the 80 category?
Some great options in this category. This 339, a boomerang ranger is another option with fiberglass fuse. Boomerang is also releasing a full composite aircraft in the small size soon. The LANCER!
Will a 100N turbine be ok? As folks say 85N be the max However I already have a 100N engine, so I would like to use it for the Horizon Hobbies MB-339.
Yes but may need to down tune it or be careful with throttle stick.
Quick question, for say in the future I wanted to get into turbines, what would I have to do to fly a turbine such as “training?” Also how much would it cost to build one of these your way? Thanks!
You should be proficient with flying prop planes and possibly some EDF's first. Regarding building, best thing to do is to email me to discuss.
Thanks.
this one also went too my dad😂😂 just found your channel. he loves it
HAHA! Yes it did! Got quite the compliments at Joe Nall!
I think you meant Hangar 9
👍
You are awesome! I love watching you build and appreciate the effort it takes to do this. Thanks and best wishes from Colorado.
Thank you very much! 😊
So this plane isnt going to use Central Box for power distribution?
No CB needed!😎
No CB needed.
@@thelightersideofrc so how do you determine if you will use one or not? If you are able to plug all the servos through receiver and gyro then you are not going to use it?
Sorry I missed your last live video. I was wiped out from my busy day. I like how you heat the hysol up to help thin it out, it will help me when I do a flap rework 😊
All Good Victor! Thanks for watching!
Great video! I've actually had some fun building the MB339, the #1 complaint I have (minor) is the "tray" has so many holes cut out that its difficult to mount directly to it. I get the weight savings, but everything that drops below that tray is an immediate hassle to remove! 😂😂
Cool, thanks! That's a great point. I noticed that as well when starting it. Looks great but Yes. It's a bit too "Holy"
In your Ranger build you used Gorilla Glue for the hinges. Any reason that wouldn't work here? Also, maybe a quick video on how you make up your servo leads would great...your tools, parts, and how you actually do various ends.
Yea gorilla glue would work great here as well. Just have to make sure to wet the wood so the gorilla glue expands well. At least in our dry climate it's important. I did a video a couple years back detailing doing up servo ends.
Perfect~ but needs a JM Fuel can!..LOL.
owner has a JM Jug and it's getting a JM dry break fuel port! 🙌
Can I have it?
Really?
😂😂
