At the shaky takeoff, I expected he was not a good pilot. But! The rest of the flight proved me wrong. He did an excellent job at graceful flying. That low speed pass just under stall was actually kind of amazing. Too bad about the fire!
I was there... The engine broke in flight and was instantly blocked with pump still flood kero inside, so there was a fire.
The Rafale crash landed in a fairly soft ground and was not so damaged. She will fly again !!!

Usually in these rc events there is to much talk in loudspeakers at a time when few words and lot of silence would make more sense.
But nice video.
Wonderful low-speed high angles of attack manoeuvres under full control. What came next looks like a flame-out, or was there major damage?

What a shame, it's was a stunning model, but somebody said down in the list that she will fly again and that is a relief, It's always a pleasure watch your videos, but I would like to see one day live, this fair was in Bad Neuenahr Ahrweiler Germany September 2015, can you share with me the location for this year 2016, I'm thinking to go Germany for my 50 birthdays. Was mich allerdings verwundert, ist, dass der Pilot es nicht geschafft hat mit nur einer Turbine die Landebahn zu erreichen. Vermutlich waren beide Turbinen ausgefallen. :(

My only bit of advice to the Videographer is Read about the theory of thirds and videography. It will greatly increase your audiences enjoyment. Activate the TIC TAC TOE in your view finder it helps BRO ... Really good video though NO OUT OF FOCUS Hunting too.

wow, did the fire burn down everything? what was the aircraft run on? fuel or battery?
It would be interesting to know how the model has been modified since the original is of relaxed stability and flying on computers that constantly are supervising the aerodynamics.

Wirklich schade um dieses schöne Modell! Habe mal die echte Rafale mit dieser Sonderlackierung 2009 beim Tiger Meet in Kleine Brogel - Belgien filmen können. Wobei ich überhaupt sagen muss das mir die Rafale Displays am besten gefallen (siehe Rafale Videos auf meinem Kanal;-). Hoffe die Besitzer konnten ihr Modell wieder reparieren, und es war kein Totalverlust.

seem like engine backfire there. In commercial jet it also happen when hit birds or ice. Sudden lost of thrust.

The engine was not right from the beginning. The light flashes from left to right. Also seems not enough power all along.

Now I remember why I do not go to public events like this. It is the announcers they are loud, rude and obnoxious how long can people listen to someone just endlessly babble. I like being able to hear engines and prop wash turn that microphone off PLEASE! Air shows rc or real are great events but those announcers gotta go seriously.

The announcer needs to talk less during the aerobatics, there is plenty of time between acts for intros and summaries. It is annoying and louder than the jets. It is almost as if he believes that people came there to listen to him all day.

So this Rafale is as useful as the actual Rafale haha. No gas, no fighting radius to speak of, but it is a pretty little toy.
