Exploring humanity through cinema - Oscar’s PhD in the School of Communication and Creative Arts

Oscar Bloomfield is completing his PhD with Deakin’s School of Communication and Creative Arts. With the support of a full scholarship, Oscar’s PhD explores how cinema is able to shine a light on the fundamental essences of the human condition which may have become lost or silenced due to the frantic pace of modern life.
