Hey Donny what sealant do you use when you do a base gasket delete? Not sure what to use. I haven’t ported anything yet on my 372xp xtorque and just seeing how the saw runs. I wanna run a 32-36” bar and want just a little more go
I have two super nice 041’s and extra cylinders for each. I have never ported a saw, I was hoping that you had, and that you would have a educational video on how to do so, if the gains would warrant the effort. 😊
Watch the piston skirt on bottom it's easy to over shoot an free port on ex side on 620s

Donny. I ported my husky 365 x torq. And I'm running a 24 inch bar on it now. It bogs down alot. It doesn't seem to handle a 24 inch very well.
It should maybe it’s your carb
@@donnywalker4691 . Carb settings are fine. I have a new chain on it .and it's like if it's under power.
Running a 28 inch on my 365 x. Not ported and it runs very well, pulls well 🤷♂️. Seems odd

I have a 365 xtorq, do you port those or change the cylinder and carb to 372?
I modify the 365 xtorq to a 372 xtorq port it and muffler and install the non rev limiter coil 🪵👍
I already built an Ironhorse muffler for it, how much more power does the 372 mod make? Why is the strato saws hated? Is it because of piston weight?
