Thanks for this Donny. I rebuilt my 365 xtorq yesterday with a Meteor kit, did some clean up on the ports and piston (needed imho) the squish tolerance was good at 20 thou , a bonus. Your set up tuning tips really helped with breaking it in today. Would really really like to hear / see more on what you do to the piston you showed though and what can be done to xtorq engines . I have used the muffler with no baffling, just a spark screen on top outlet, fitted the big paper filter and high top cover. She really goes, once run in it’s going to be a great groundie saw. Thanks again from England.
Just shipped my Holzfforma 372 to Walker's this morning. Can't wait to get it back! Would love to see it on the channel! Came over from Buckin'! Seems like a great bunch of people up there! Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with us Donny!
One of my favoefficient. Genius design I build lots of them. I don't run the black coils tho. And they are still strong tuned at12.5 ish love to pull. In hard wood 28" full comp they hold 10.5k no problem and are so fuel effucient.
Hey Donny, what do you use to cover the decomp hole in the top cover on the 372s when you delete the decomp valve? I think I remember seeing what you do in one of your videos but I can't find it. Thanks!
The problem with the X Torque is that the piston is heavier than a 395xp piston still running on 6202 bearings and the bearings will go especially if you add some compression and turn them up. Also those cylinders are Nikasil plated not chrome. Not trying to be a ass just letting you know.
Nice that you mention others in the repair business. Stay Humble. 😇
So freaking excited about the online shop!!! Hopefully you will start selling Walker Saw Shop Decals. Need a big one for my truck!
Great story Donny 😊.

What would you say the difference in power increase roughly is with a bark box vs stock exaust?
I would say about .6 to .7 of a hp when I get my dyno back going I will post the real numbers cheers🪵👍
Rotax makes some pretty good engines too. I'm a skidoo fan so I'm a little biased :P
