That's right! You've got to keep your eyes open and stay informed on what to look for, and if you look through enough coins, you're bound to find a gem!
I've only purchased one ICCS graded coin, a 1959 PL 50 cent coin that hazed over after several years. I took it out of the flip and gave it a very quick dip and it came back to its original perfection. It's now in a black ring airtite capsule along with its siblings, where it looks a lot more presentable.
Congratulations on getting good grades! Glad to see that you are happy with the results of your first coin-grading submission. Best of luck for your coin hunting in 2024. Hope you find some more stellar specimens!
Congratulations on the grade for the 2006 Penny. I found both the 1996 attached 6 nickel and 2006 magnetic no logo no P in my hunts. I haven’t got them graded yet. My 2006 Penny will not grade high due to environmental damage, but I think my 1996 nickel will grade the same as yours. Thanks for showing this video, brought back memories when I found both. Thank you
Wow! Awesome James! I have been waiting for this video! I remember I thought ms 64 or higher. Fantastic results. Way to go! I have a 1990 bare belly in amazing shape, I’m debating getting it graded it’s got to be higher than ms63… would love your opinion…. Cheers!
Awesome! Thank you! I was, of course, very happy with an MS-66 on that coin. Thanks so much for watching! If you do get the 1990 graded, let me know how you do!
Nice grade for sure. It's trending on coins and canada for 480ish.. I have 2 of the 2006 ones as well. One has been sent in with Ernie rught now and the second one will be sent in next month. Hope mine cone back half as nice as yours lol.
Amazing return on those coins. I kinda wish ICCS would allow searches of their Certification Numbers so you could verify what you hold vs. what they had in their hands. I collected almost all the 1 cent pieces way back and I dont think I knew about the 2006, so sure enough I go and look, I find my "No RCM, No P" 2006 cent in my Vista album, I pulled it out wishing it was magnetic and no dice... its a non-magnetic version. I didnt hit the jackpot :P Congrats and thanks for this video, Love the content.
Thanks! That’s really not pricey at all, I gotta say I wish iccs slabbed the coins, makes them look so fancy lol either way, thanks for the info and videos! Cheers👍
I'm not aware of any issues with these holders, though it's possible they could be tampered with. I'm not sure they're quite as high-tech as US grading company slabs.
I'm not sure which one you're referring to. There were many different varieties of 2003, featuring both the old effigy and the new effigy of the Queen, some were Steel, with the 'P' composition mark, and some were Zinc, without that mark. The really rare variety for that year was the 2003 P that was actually made of zinc and wasn't magnetic. I haven't found that one, but I've found all of the rest in a red mint-state.
Hey, im looking to buy all of the lighthouse vista coin albums but am having a hard time finding much info on them. Do you know where I can find the dates that each of them contain? I’d hate to get them and find out they only go till 2013 with no way of getting newer pages. Thanks!
The Lighthouse website does list the dates that each album is printed to. To see that, click on the drop-down to select the albums, which show the printed date range: www.lighthousecanada.ca/vista-nature-canada-albums.html Most of the new ones only have printed dates to 2016, but have plenty of additional spaces.
why did you submit it to iccs? do pcgs! also where is my knighthood? I thought you were going to knight me as a knight of the channel, do you remember?
ICCS is the most respected and trusted grader of Canadian Coins. We don't have knighthood, but a great way to support the channel is to subscribe to a membership. Just click the 'Join' button to learn more.
ICCS is a waste of time, poor descriptions, very minimal on any varieties, just the bare basics (die cracks/high/low reliefs not noted), and not a recognized grading company outside Canada. I used them in the past, sent 2 Canadian nickels (1951 High *** & low relief nickels) both came back EF 40 with no additional comments on the High relief one, which is extremely rare/valuable.
I do wish they would recognize more varieties, but they have added more space for details on their flips and are adding more info. It might be worth sending them back in for an update.
Congrats on finding the 2006 Holy Grail The double error nickel is also very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Bruce! I appreciate it!
AMAZING coin finds with FANTASTIC results! I’ll take note of the two varieties. Congratulations.
Thanks, Ogir! I'm glad I didn't overlook these two! These are probably my best finds so far.
Awesome coins to get graded!
I think so too!
Nice find.
The 2006 Unicorn, is why we Coin Roll hunt! Great information James!

Interesting. It got hazy in the flip?
@@CADRollHunter Yes, took a while, but the PVC finally came out.
Excited to see the coins!!
Wow amazing result on the cent James, congratulations!
Thanks 👍Thanks Alrik.!
Wow, that's very different. I didn't know that it was different from the PCGS graded coins 😅
Quite a bit different than slabbed coins, for sure.
That is awesome. Congratulations!
Thanks!!

Wow that penny is awesome! I remember the video when you found it. Congratulations!
I'm super happy with that grade!

Let me know how it grades!
Incredible grade on that cent, especially finding that CRH! Well done!
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for sharing.
No problem! I really appreciate you watching!

Thanks for watching and commenting! I agree an online lookup like PCGS has would be awesome.
There's 3 minutes of black screen between 5:27 to 8:22, just letting you know
Thanks for letting me know. I've edited the video and it should be fixed shortly. I appreciate you letting me know!
I thought you broke the internet😅
Nice coins. I have a coinmart graded 1936 Canadian dollar.
Nice! What grade did it get?
@CADRollHunter vf 30. Not great but its ok with me
Awesome, cool to see the Canadian version of pcgs lol I have too found an attached 6, how much does it cost to grad from iccs?
Thanks for watching! I paid 10 plus tax as part of a bulk submission. I believe it's closer to 16 per coin normally.
Thanks! That’s really not pricey at all, I gotta say I wish iccs slabbed the coins, makes them look so fancy lol either way, thanks for the info and videos! Cheers👍
Congratulations on that ms66! That’s awesome brother 🎉
Thanks 👍
Everyone can be a treasure hunter from their home. One never knows what is in the next roll.
Absolutely!
Good coins! Hope youre doing good so far. Have a great day ahead!
Thanks! You too!
It looks like the flips might be easy to tamper with, how secure do you feel the flips are?
I'm not aware of any issues with these holders, though it's possible they could be tampered with. I'm not sure they're quite as high-tech as US grading company slabs.
What did it cost to have it graded? Been wondering for a while and never looked into it.
I paid $10 per coin as part of a bulk submission. I think it might be more like $16 per coin otherwise.
That cent is well worth grading.
Absolutely!
Was it just my computer or did the video go black from 5.25 - 8.25?
There was an issue with the video - being fixes now. Thanks!
@@CADRollHunter ok thanks
Have you found any 2003 red no logo magnetic pennies ?
I'm not sure which one you're referring to. I got a king Charles III nickel from my change yesterday, they do exist after all!
That's an unexpected surprise!!
Two thumbs up.
Thanks so much for watching, Bill!
I have both ICCS and Coinmart CMG graded Canadian Silver Dollars what is your opinion of CMG vs ICCS? Thanks, Great Video!
I'm not familiar with Coin Mart, actually. I'll have to look into them.

What is the most economical and reliable place to have coins graded in Canada? I have some I am considering.
I'd recommend ICCS for sure. They are very highly respected.
I didn’t know the 2006 was such low mintage, I found one a long time ago
There are several different versions of the 2006. Several are very common. There is one that is less common Orland two that are rare.
MS66 Cent WOW
