As someone who’s attempting to learn HPal/healing in general this was very comforting to watch.
I chose to main h pally at the start of season 2 and this is reap. The struggle is real and this last week is when I started to feel comfortable to push keys

My brother in light, put on an Aura. Lmao, just playing. Love the video, good luck learning this spec, a lot of utility to learn between aura mastery, blessing of sacrifice, and blessing of protection. I have a blessing of seasons weakaura that tells me when its up, that seems to help out a lot (I personally despise the ability).

Love it my guy, I always loved Hpally. I took it to my first ever KSM & KSH last season. It is such a fun and involved spec. I feel like i have a button for most "Oh shit moments". Hope you have fun with the series ! Looking forward to it !
Really digging it so far! Kinda dreaded recording episode 1, but each episode after that has had me excited to play the pally!
I kept my max level toon and started a new hpal a few months ago to make it easier (and less pressure) to learn. That made it a lot more fun for me - and it’s actually a pretty chill/fun toon to heal with. Then after level 50 ( I think) I jumped back into my max and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. Just something to think about :)
That's a very interesting approach, it reminds me of back when I played Clash of Clans and would make a second account and start again rom the beginning and how it made me enjoy the game so much more!
One thing I noticed in BHH, it was right after the first boss. Your party was pretty low and you were individually healing everyone. You want to uses beacon of virtue in situations like. Trying to get everyone back up individually like that is going to murder your mana and take longer. Also hitting divine toll more often will help too due to the extra holy shocks it puts out. I used to treat DT as an emergency cd but it’s really not. The 1 minute cd is very forgiving and it acts almost like a slow HoT with the extra shocks that it puts out
Yeah I just recorded episode 2 of this series, and I didn't even notice until then just how short the cds are. Beacon on 15 secs? Unreal!!
This is great dude. Smashing it keep them coming you got me in to mistweaver i couldn’t decide between hplay n mist so good to see how you go with keys on hpally and to get your opinion on the differences in gameplay style and fun factor between the two.

Not to be a dick but the main critiques I see is that you need to press consecration more and use your holy power more. You were capped and pressing your builders quite a bit. You want to send your holy power to get a wings proc. But other than that was pretty good!
Also need to turn Devo aura on!

@@LBNinja7 no problem man! It’s sensory overload when trying a new class so ofcourse you’re gonna miss small things like that but you’re a good player and you just need some more time with the class. Hpal was my specialty all through shadowlands. I’m looking forward to the rework and looking forward to more videos of hpal from you!

Light of Dawn is the best way to spend if you don’t need to use WOG. Plus it will buff your WOG.
I rolled an Hpal to mess around. Don't know if I'll actually stick to it, but I am running around messing with monks with some RP macros:

I decided to swap my prot pally to heals about a week ago, honestly they feel pretty awful lol. I feel like monk plays smoother, I reckon you'll come to the same conclusion. The only thing I do like is Beacon + Divine Toll is an instant group heal, and various other things combined with beacon are instant topups. But dealing dps? Awful unless you unload with shield slams + wings + divine toll + beacon. Without beacon even my Holy Priest does more dps on average in keys, I end most my keys with like 22~30 without a beacon, and that feels like super hard work and abusing annulet.
Don't know how you'll find it but curious to see how it ends up. So far for me, not a big fan (only 434 ilvl atm, but 40% haste and 26% Vers currently). Also as a side note, their single target healing is actually pretty like... bad as well? At least it feels not great. Shocks crit for 70k~.
Yeah I've definitely noticed their shock healing fall a bit and their group healing look a lot better. So far it's fun, but not the kind of fun that will keep me playing the spec I think
@@LBNinja7 Did a normal raid today just on a whim and got Beacon + Rashoks in the same run (plus an anvil, but doubt I'll be using that any time soon). With the beacon my Key dps felt a lot nicer, but still yeah. Jumped on my holy priest n did 42k dps overall and my monk 37. Paladin with beacon still struggling to to do 30.
I want to believe I'm just bad, but pugging as soon as someone makes too many mistakes n needs single target healing oh boy does it feel bad.
@@LBNinja7 Last update, lol. Got my gear a bit improved, stats, now doing 35-45 k overall in keys dps, there are still some things I don't like, but it's getting better. I feel like beacon is mandatory and Rashoks, I'd also suggest when statting Haste + Vers/Crit combo try to land at least 20% crit or 25% for 1/5 or 1/4. Makes some things a lot easier, and dps higher.
@kizzagaming6523 will definitely gun for those stats, and yeah the raid trinkets are pretty nutty this tier

Yeah I've read about that and it does seem like an odd talent to focus on, but from what I hear the population as a while likes it
