Luckily I have tested all 3 of these! 1) no, as the damage source is overwhelming force and not one of the damage sources that proc ancient teachings, but the bonus damage from using vitality does lead to more AT healing! 2. The cooldown of chiji was not drastically changed, since you're also not doubling down with essence fonts effect. However in raid it's more likely to win out if you need a 25 second chiji, but it's looking like another yulon tier 3. SO FAR in beta mastery has been good, but not good enough yo pump ourselves full of it. If that does become the case, then resplendent mist MIGHT be worth visiting, but since it's in a very competitive part of the tree that's a big if

Look for a newbie friendly guide on fist weaving! It's a great spec and revolves around doing damage that is then converted to healing through a really cool talent.

I have a lot of beginners guides! Two of the main sources of mistweavers healing is done by converting your damage into healing. I heal because I enjoy healing 😊

mw has been S tier for few seasons in DF. been great

It's a macro that casts soothing mist if I hover over an ally and castsjadefire stomp if I'm not!

@@hayleym8787 nah, the title is indicating to me that he wants to talk about specific mechanics. I dont wanna see a 30 min dungeon run, where i dont know what he wants to say with it. Its a other thing if the Video is renamed, so you expect only a Gameplay Run. You can do that with maybe 3 or 4 timestamps, where he thinks "oh this is gonna be great" or smth. That was not an insult by my side, only a friendly critiscm.

Idk what to tell you man lol. You clicked on a video of a 30 min dungeon. What time stamps would you want for it in the future? I normally timestamp things like guides that have clear sections of different talking points like talents, rotation, etc

I think you misunderstood it because I didn't mean afk in the sense that they do little damage. People refer to specs as afk healers when ai does a lot of the healing for you, like Grove guardians and fallen order monks

It is the same moonrise from what I tested. I would reapply moonrise to an enemy that the guardian already applied to and it would just reset the timer!

@@LBNinja7 Perfect thanks, but paradoxally it also work very well for catweaving as you dont have to leave cat form to reapply moonfire

Idk if the hero talents will fix this but the difference, at least in my experience, is that with cat weaving you cast several hots, go cat form, apply dots, repeat. This is, compared to disc priest, very GCD heavy. With my disc I only cast a radiance and then have like idk, 8 seconds or so where I can pump in my mindbender, mind blast, dark reprimand etc to pump dmg and healing. Cat weaving to me felt like an either or thing. But the similarity in disc and resto I see is that cat weaving, and playing disc in general, becomes very hard when people take so much dmg that the maintenance rotation can not be upheld. The moment I have to pump a few flash heals ito a single DPS I feel like loosing massive HPS

I think there's a very loud minority that complains about any playstyle. People complain about fistweaving, catweaving, holy priest.... like everything. I just think some people are playing the wrong healer for them but aren't willing to swap!

Honestly I believe all healer should do some damage to some point, it just feels good.

I love to dps as a healer and fistweaving is great, but I can't stand cat weaving

Another major difference is your damage does passive healing when fistweaving or playing disc; cat damage doesn’t help you top health bars at all.

If moonrise is too much for you to handle then it's time to swap to heals 🤣

Yeah uhdk is going kinda buckwild on beta right now so that would be a super sick comp. Just 3 people buffing one op dps!

@@LBNinja7 I think we'll get to test it tonight with my team the hard part is vdh isn't doing it for being able to live the big pulls, bdk works but you kind of have to ramp the pull so the DK dosent fall over, prot warr seems like the only one that can live really big pulls atm maybe guardian.

I dont believe it does, since the damage source is "overwhelming force" however the talents in the same hero talent tree that let your rising sun kick and other kicks use stored vitality to do more damage do attribute to more ancient teachings healing since it amplifies the date from the sources that activate ancient teachings!

Yeah I think you're right, but it's still worth doing imo especially to snap the boosted one with engulf

Fistweaving does scale well in aoe content, but I think it all depends on what you're more comfortable with!

I haven't had a chance yet on beta but do plan on it! Also i have had a pretty wacky schedule recently with being out of town a lot, but will stream a ton when tww drops!
