I love this, what i find the most entertaining is the tank of water keeps getting progressively lager and larger with each test, and must be like hmm that one broke lets try a larger one :)
Your neighbors must really love you LOL. I just can imagine me doing that in my house. I will have 5 patrol cars, snipers and a bomb squad in 10 minutes.
For one of my science fair projects I build a air powered potato gun. Well time goes bye and some relatives are visiting so I decide to show it to them. Well I got no potato so I use some tape over the end of the barrel. First used scotch tape then moved to electrical tape. The last shot I fired I combined both taped and pressured it to over 100 psi. That thing sounded like a fucking cannon going off. Next thing I know I hear someone say “their gonna call the cops” and I’m like welp time to pack up lol. That shit was fun
Great fun! My lab buddy and I went through a practical joke period at work and one joke was to place a small electrolytic or tantal on the rear output of the bench power supply. Eventually we had to stop before one of us got hurt. Lots of fun though.
Had once one explode in mine. I was sitting in my office chair, waiting for the transport car to arrive. Turned on the computer to boot(we had pentium 4s at my workplace) and it beeped. Restarted it, then BOOM like a firecracker going off in the silen,e. Almost shat myself.
Can you share the specs of all caps (especially the one that blew the aquarium)? Did you find any correlation between explosion energy and capacitance/voltage?
Capacitors are bound to explode when the supply voltage is more than their capacity...all the capacitors must be much less than the supply voltage of 310Volts
I could not see the + and - polarity applied to the capacitors. Did you use correct polarity or reverse polarity or both. Was there a noticeable difference in outcome?
It would almost certainly explode, and 220V is lethal! If you want to experiment, try to a start to keep everything at max 30V. Above 45V is the threshold for guaranteed deadly, almost no matte how little current. Some capacitors can be used to AC other will not work or even get damaged. To protect yourself, put a large transparent plastic box over it, so you do not get hurt. When selecting a capacitor, select one that have a higher voltage rating than the voltage you want to use, unless you only goes for exploding caps. :-)
Just stick them across the 235 V mains on a long lead away from your self and switch on , they go off like the sound of a 410 shotgun ,470uf 25volt are recommended, for my big bang theory.
he most definitely misplaced the polar positive side of the capacitor with the negative side of battery; the thing is, when you do this, the capacitor has an electrical overload and as you could see in the video, it explodes! ps. this only happens with polarized electrolytes, which are mostly in our computers and microwaves.(sleep well)
Second one : capacitors hide to die Last one : holly shit, it's like a grenade! Fun, but it's not a good idea at the beginning to give the idea to some not very smart people that you can connect this kind of assembly directly to the mains with a 30cm wire, so by being right next to it without any risk :(
Fit the correct size large capacitor up a length of scaffold tube , propped up against a wall , SEAL the bottom end ... and ... you have an effective mortar cannon ( launches hundreds of yards ! ) ... ( tried - n - tested ! ) ........... DAVE™🛑
That last one in the garden was a darned impressive capacitor grenade. 🤣
I could watch this all day

I used to do this on our balcony but my neighbor called the police on me once xD
The best part of this is watching with mad speakers/subwoofer and hearing the mf'er run away every time after plugging it in.
Jeez! So basically, all of our electronics have tiny little bombs in them, and some of them have big bombs? 😲
Yes, indeed it is as you say.
Only if you abuse them...
Or if they go wrong....
@@drakethedragon457 when you realize that there are countless capacitors in a computer-

Now that was wild & fun, loved it.
At 2:17 me farting in the bath.
So lame but funny 😂😂😂😂😂
@@WhoisRoach Hahaha, that was funny! Thank you for that joke!
Do you want your capacitor rear, medium or well done.
Rare*
Ya blowed it up real good Elmer.
Very educational, loved it!
The last was brutal. Like a granate 👌👌👍👍boooooom

*'nam flashback intensifies*
Pretty scary. In particular the last one!! May I please ask you how to protect yourself while testing a new circuit? :-)
Hardly at all.
4:11 what is the capacitance and voltage of this capacitor?
35.000 mF 16 volts
i mean 35,000 mF 16 volts, he commended 35.000 mF 16 volts on another comment but in europe mainland . is ,
@@doggo7567 35 thousand millifarads!? That's equal to 35 farads! That explains the huge explosion...
@@Plasma.Prince yep lol
He hard core treats it as remote bomb
4:20 omg he decide to usue grenade instead, lmao
Can you share the specs of all caps (especially the one that blew the aquarium)? Did you find any correlation between explosion energy and capacitance/voltage?
Yes, it's linear
3:58 Epic!
Great video.
Reminds me of how cavitation is no joke and the grenade in water experiment.
Honey have you seen any of my vases? I can't seem to find them....
Why are there only 2 cups left?
whaaat the hell?!!! the last one is small bomb man😮
Me acabas de quitar las ganas de reparar mi fuente de alimentacion... gracias.
Why are some so much more violent despite appearing same size and capacity. Is it the materials it's made of or the quality of the cap?
This might be the funniest video in youtube even without trying to be funny
RIP capacitors
Magnificent. Thank you so much.

@@ElectricExperimentsRobert33 I cant find it
@@joveaaron-real I removed the capacitor from an old electrical device from 1974, bought at a radio amateur fair.
You got really lucky you did not shock the piss out of yourself after testing that second cap.
Does anyone know how many farads the last one had
3:20 minecraft with shader
Done this myself but not on the scale of the last one: ) I wonder if Beyond the press would do this in slow mo... Great video!
LOL 3:30 home made IED
Your wife / mother is not going to be happy when she finds out you've detonated every vase in the house
It must stink there
Yeah...
capacitor instantly turned into smoke grenade
lol the good old plug and run
Excellent results, pity you destroyed your aquarium.
I did not imagine that it could break.
Can you please add a short tip in your videos for proper use of ecaps?
I could not see the + and - polarity applied to the capacitors. Did you use correct polarity or reverse polarity or both. Was there a noticeable difference in outcome?
All capacitors in reversed polarity.
I plugged in a hair clipper power adapter and suddenly blow up.what would be the cause?
3:28 what gas is that
It is not a gas, it is the reaction of boiling smoke in water.
I love this
This mans doing a huge bomb at 4:22.
2:22 supercool
When you're in witness protection but you wanna make videos
The old ones are the best
Yes, you are right.
These would look awesome in slow mo
Caps Cumpilation 😆 Cool vijeo 👍
The best video ever !!!!!!👏👏👏👏
Can you make a device that is enclosed with water and cap inside completely enclosed and test.
5:00
Thanks, good tutorial to how to make a bomb at home 3 of them are enough to blow up a civil bus
lmao, dont you dare blow someone up or I beat your ass with a cane
You could strap some small heavy metal slabs around it like a grenade and those projectiles would be lethal
Why not blowing them by overcharging ? Would be bettet cause more energy stored
Wow Very Nice
Bro that last cap is literally a mortar round lol
Woow super 👍
Awe gotta love those economy vapes 😅😅
5:00 I didn't expect THIS to happen

3:58 is this why getting into a pool with a grenade is a bad idea?
Well certainly not a good idea.

Some doubt guys can control capacitor blow up in bga machine while placing bga in pcb
Honey could you PLEASE stop installing land mines in our yard?
The falling dirt in the end made the sound not so awesome as it would be if you explode it just in the air...
Holy Exploding Capacitors Batman 😎
Would AC work as well?
No, it does not work in AC, only DC.
ac will just charge and discharge the cap, dc will charge indefinetly
Can someone explain why they do explode ?

A lot of poisonous gases, I think it's ready to serve
they are super fun and cool but real explosives are so much more efficient because capacitors are just boiling water pressure bombs
I'll just stick to the pinky finger sized ones
