That thing sounded like a fucking cannon going off. Next thing I know I hear someone say “their gonna call the cops” and I’m like welp time to pack up lol. That shit was fun

I could not see the + and - polarity applied to the capacitors. Did you use correct polarity or reverse polarity or both. Was there a noticeable difference in outcome?
It would almost certainly explode, and 220V is lethal! If you want to experiment, try to a start to keep everything at max 30V. Above 45V is the threshold for guaranteed deadly, almost no matte how little current. Some capacitors can be used to AC other will not work or even get damaged. To protect yourself, put a large transparent plastic box over it, so you do not get hurt. When selecting a capacitor, select one that have a higher voltage rating than the voltage you want to use, unless you only goes for exploding caps. :-)
Capacitors are bound to explode when the supply voltage is more than their capacity...all the capacitors must be much less than the supply voltage of 310Volts
Just stick them across the 235 V mains on a long lead away from your self and switch on , they go off like the sound of a 410 shotgun ,470uf 25volt are recommended,for my big bang theory.
Fit the correct size large capacitor up a length of scaffold tube , propped up against a wall , SEAL the bottom end ... and ... you have an effective mortar cannon ( launches hundreds of yards ! ) ... ( tried - n - tested ! ) ........... DAVE™🛑
he most definitely misplaced the polar positive side of the capacitor with the negative side of battery; the thing is, when you do this, the capacitor has an electrical overload and as you could see in the video, it explodes! ps. this only happens with polarized electrolytes, which are mostly in our computers and microwaves.(sleep well)
