I would love to see the whole process of you ordering a pair of jeans like screen recording some of the browsing, showing the size charts, and material composition of the jeans, pricing, and then how they fit. That could also help subscribers see which brands might suit them. Some brands might be too much of a headache to find accurate sizing, which would be good to avoid. Just a thought😊

If you want your jeans to last longer don’t put them into the dryer. Especially if they have any kind of elastic. The dryer burns those fibers so the don’t last. I hang mine to dry.

I think it would be great to see Carrie try Trunk Club. They are scary good at picking out clothing that fits me. I've been *that girl* crying in the fitting room because nothing fits and somehow their stylist can figure out what to send me based on a handful of measurements and some self-reported info. Trunk Club is run by Nordstrom and they have free tailoring (probably not in depth stuff though, mostly taking in the waist and hemming) for anything you keep.
I was a fit model for good American jeans and the designers do pay so much attention to every detail and look at all of the jeans on different types of bodies (height, weight, proportions, etc)
I’ve heard that good American jeans shrink significantly. So you may want to consider washing the first pair. I don’t know. I know it’s a risk cause they’re expensive AF
The Good American 90s jeans are HUGE! I bought a pair-washed them in super duper Hot Water, but holy moly-I’d have to wash them everyday for a Year to get them to actually fit me-and I’m a standard size 16!
I totally relate to not wanting to wear jeans that feel too tight when you first put them on... I've bought jeans that fit perfectly in the dressing room, only to have them basically falling off if I wear them for more than 10 minutes lol. I think trying on pants makes me puff up in self-defense like a porcupine fish
They are hardly size inclusive though! The super popular Align Tank only goes up to a size 14, and it fits like a size 10. Ughh. The leggings are more size inclusive though =)
Have you considered you’re not a size 16? I feel like every video I watch you say your jeans are too big. I don’t mean this in a petty way at all, and I know it’s usually the brands being so off on their sizing, it’s just a thought! I’m editing this to say: I definitely do not want to tell you about your size like I know it better than you do it was just a thought because I know sometimes I view my body different than it actually is. I don’t want it to come off like I’m trying to tell you what to do haha. I love these videos they’re so helpful.

I’m totally on this loose 90’s Jean wave! I found a good pair at express and ASOS. As far as the size 15 vs 14/16, odd sizes are junior sizes. They’re cut with a more narrow hip/thigh. Normal women’s sizing are the even numbers and are generally more generous in the hip and thigh. If you’re more curvy, even sizes are for you. The more you know 🌈😊

The Ava and viv straight jeans are everything. Super high rise, super stretchy, legs are nice and loose. I think you’d love them! They’re the target plus size section but maybe try the smallest size!
Try Gap Sky High Straight or Cheeky Straights a try. I've got a belly and they fit great. Sky Highs have a 90's loose leg and are full length. Cheekys are slightly tapered and ankle length. My waist is 37, hips 44 and I'm in a 33. Old Navy also has Sky High straights but they're not for me. Gap FTW!
i was gonna comment something similar! the old navy sky high straights actually worked out better for me than the gap ones! i’m usually a 14/16, but in the ON sky high straights, i’m probably a 13, which they don’t offer, but the 14s fit almost perfectly! i’d love for her to do an old navy vs gap denim video!

Their size chart looks crazy, from size 14 to 16 the measurements increase by 7in where the sizes under 14 increase in 1in increments, I noticed the Good 90's also has size 15 but it was wait listed, the must have added a 15 since there 16 jumps so much in measurement from size 14.
Usually odd numbers are juniors sizes and even numbers are Misses. I can't recall what the fit difference is, but they are supposed to be different proportionately.

I know the journey you have been on, and I have to agree…when you finally find a pair of jeans that you LOVE, it really doesn’t matter what they cost…(If you can afford it, no justification is needed! Jeans are hella hard to get perfect!). I personally, have been really lucky lately-I used to hate Gloria Vanderbilt jeans/shorts back in the day, I guess because I thought they were too matronly with their high waist! Now, that is what makes them the PERFECT jeans for me to thrift! They come in a ton of colors (lots of pastels in addition to the traditional blue denim-and I am loving them all!). I guess lots of people don’t give them a try (or simply do not agree with me,), because I keep finding them at Goodwill on Sundays in the $1 color ticket! I have loaded up on a variety of colors and white. In fact, I have picked up a larger size in some of them and cut them into shorts for the summer (Shorts HAVE to be looser!!) and they are great! Actually, I find I can wear them in 3 different sizes, depending on what I want to use them for! If you ever see them in your size at the thrift store, give them a try! They are always high waisted, have some stretch, and not tight or skinny in the legs at all! You can adjust your size to accommodate the type of fit you want! BUT…that being said, I loved the Good American flares on you and I am happy that you found some jeans that look so great AND fit you well…and are comfortable! I am of the opinion that flared jeans make your legs look long and beautiful (Not at all in the cropped length that is still so popular now!-somehow those flares just make you look like you are a kid who has grown out of your jeans and I don’t find that flattering on anyone!). Anyway, I am never going back to those tight, low waisted jeans ever again! I have the Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in: denim, black and white, as well as…3 shades of green (from pastel apple green to forest green!), pink, tan, brown, black with a subtle floral, dark purple, dark teal, cream….maybe that’s it!? 😁 Have a great day Carrie!!
Absolutely LOVE Good American. Definitely need to know your size differences between the subtypes, ie. Good Legs vs. Good Waist. I absolutely love love love the fabric composition. Also, was wondering why no one talks about Suko, as they are amazing for curvy girls as well, but they do only go to size 16 (although may fit more like 18 in a lot of their styles). Suko is on Amazon and so inexpensive.

I'm a "straight size" gal but i have bigger hips and thighs proportionately speaking and they simply do not make jeans mom enough to accommodate these THIGHS OF MINE. Hey Carrie!! The flare is GORG. I’m a 14/16 & I initially got them in a 16. I wore them once & they stretched out quite a bit! I’d suggest sizing down to a 14 or 15 ❤️

When I was still in college, my last semester, I wanted to invest in a pair of GA jeans but I was a full time student, working part time and told myself don’t do it, only because I was wearing leggings and dress pants to college for the office. I’ve still held out since I don’t go out but maybe in the future or for Christmas I’ll treat myself.
Tip from someone who was very much a wearer of Buttonfly 90's jeans...they tend to all be more snug in the waist...if you want a looser fit maybe size up on the button up jean :) I am so super pumped these jeans are back!
I just picked up a pair of jeans from American Eagle. They are a loose fit but not like they will swallow you up. They are the 90's slim boyfriend style. You should try them, they're so cute and amazing!!

I’m definitely anywhere between a 14 and a 16 (or sometimes 12 or sometimes 18) depending on the brand, but I’m mostly a 16 so I just say 16! 🥰

I tried basically all of the Loft Curvy jeans and I hated all of them but I’m curious if others like them
When I was still in college, my last semester, I wanted to invest in a pair of GA jeans but I was a full time student, working part time and told myself don’t do it, only because I was wearing leggings and dress pants to college for the office. I’ve still held out since I don’t go out but maybe in the future or for Christmas I’ll treat myself.
Tip from someone who was very much a wearer of Buttonfly 90's jeans...they tend to all be more snug in the waist...if you want a looser fit maybe size up on the button up jean :) I am so super pumped these jeans are back!

I just picked up a pair of jeans from American Eagle. They are a loose fit but not like they will swallow you up. They are the 90's slim boyfriend style. You should try them, they're so cute and amazing!!
